Amanda Styles is a twelve-year-old girl who loves playing detective games. Whenever she works at her parents’ business Styles’ Pets, she normally finds new and exciting cases to solve with her colleagues, which happen to be the animals in the shop! When a disgruntled woman arrives at Styles’ Pets in turmoil over her cat disappearing, Amanda and her pet detectives decide to investigate the strange disappearance.

What they uncover; however, is much more than what Detective Amanda Styles had initially perceived. It’s time to join Amanda Styles and her pet detectives on their journey to prove that this case isn’t just a mere game to them, and that any person, or animal, is capable of being a top-notch detective.

What a clever girl, Val and the rest of the animal detectives!

I had enjoyed this whole story and even though there were no extra images beyond the front cover I felt the author did a great job in using words to paint pictures o the action scenes.
So for all these reasons I wish to rate this for five stars and want to recommend it for those ages 9-12 who may also enjoy animal and human detective stories. I received this for free using KU and in return, here is my honest review. Sorry it took so long to finish this but life has a way of doing things like this to us humans. (LOL)! Super job Amma ! Eine süße Geschichte. Nur bin ich froh dass es in Deutschland keine Hunde und Katzen mehr in Läden zu kaufen gibt. Schön wäre es, wenn das auch für alle anderen Tiere gelten würde. Aber immerhin werden die Tiere in diesem Buch sehr gut behandelt 😊 Und Amanda macht sich sehr gut als Detektivin 😎
