An interesting premise for a short story collection of hitchhikers, traveling, and the consequences of taking rides with strangers. For me it was a mixed bag. About half of the stories were not up to the caliber I was hoping for, but the other half were excellent so keep that in mind if you’re going to check it out yourself.

Frances Pauli’s courtroom drama titled “Seed of a Doubt” with fish felt the most fleshed out and was the story that stuck with me longest after reading. I also enjoyed Jako’s “The Savage Caravan” and BanWynn’s “Overpass” as they each had more to say than the other stories in the collection. “Overpass” really stuck with me because of the unique way in which it was written.

Great premise, but hampered by some of the contributions.
