One Simple Wish

Eva's aunts give her an early Christmas gift. A small wooden box meant to be filled with the desire of her heart. This was a very good book that brought me to further appreciate the Amish traditions and customs. I t had relevance to things in the world and even encouraged me to think about the value of family and my own prayer life.

Not your typical Amish fiction, but really a murder mystery. Portrays the Amish people as very self-righteous, jumping to conclusions, very judgmental, and not willing to allow law-enforcement to do their job.
