Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.
Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.
Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.
When money is involved.. what you think is real may be so far from the truth.. take a journey in the life of these characters as you witness what they will do just 4 The Love of Money!
This story takes you on a wild ride through loyalty, betrayal, and greed. Jazlyn, Aimee, Ya Ya, and Jewel were thick as thieves after high school, doing everything together and always having each other’s backs. But when secrets, jealousy, and hidden feelings come to light — especially Ya Ya’s betrayal with Jazlyn’s man — their tight bond starts to crack.
Things really spiral out of control when the friends decide to rob banks. The first heist is a success, but greed pushes them to try again — a decision that quickly turns disastrous. A dye pack explodes, an innocent bystander gets hurt, and the group begins to crumble under the pressure. As hidden truths are revealed, it’s clear that trust is broken beyond repair, and Ya Ya’s ambition becomes the final blow to their friendship.
This was a fast-paced, drama-filled read showing how easily love, money, and secrets can tear even the closest friendships apart.
This tale didn't hold my attention after the first hour. I put it down and went on to something else. A few months late, I picked it up and finished it today. And the last 45 minutes or so were the best part of the book. I think it was just simply underdeveloped in all areas. The summary was good and I had high hopes for the book. It just didn't live up to what was suggested in the summary.
Greed will get u every time. She should have never agreed to help rob the banks in the first place. How can u turn on your friends like that? The ending had me speechless, nobody got a happy ending.
If the girls will had change their life before trying think they will had rob that bank. I am kinda of suspicious if what happen to jewel. Jazymen had a good future that she throw away
These girl have no loyalty and... I loved how it all came together. The editing could have/should have been better (especially considering the fact that this is a short story) but otherwise a great read.
This book was awesome. I couldn't put it down. I hated the way it ended but that goes to show you never know who your real friends are. Keep up the good work
Wow! I was not expecting this type of read. Great story! Action from beginning to end. The characters were easy to follow. I can't wait to read more from this author.
Jazlyn life was better than most of her friends it wasn’t perfect but she throw it away. I want to know what happen to jewel. All money is not good money it don’t bring happiness either

This book is about four young women who aren't living to the standards that they had for themselves. They decide that they are going to take matters into their own hands. I would have loved to love this book because I'm such a fan of Jade Jones... but I didn't. I liked it. It reminded me of a movie that I had already seen too many times and just didn't have the originality that I am use to from her. I will still get future releases from this writer but this one wasnt one of my favorites.
The old time saying goes, Who don't here does feel....I see Jade as the good girl and could have made something of herself but her company lead her down a wring path. I felt Aimee was a true friend until she got to the end where greed took over. Chase was good for Jade but her friends controlled her life. Ms. Jones will there be a part 2...Who tipped the Popo off? Do I need to go back? Did I miss something? LOL Thanks again for the good read. :-)
I loved everything about this book & I no YOU will also to some IT all up with 1 word L o y a l t y try to truly find it in this book you can see how close the letters are this how close the people in this book are ....
Set It Off in 2014. This is what this book reminded me of. It was an okay read, but I kind of knew what would happen in the ending so when it did happen, I was not surprised. In all it was good.
Reading this book, it reminds me how you have to careful who u call a friend/sister. Everyone is not always your friend when it comes to money. You can be a best friend..but It doesn't mean they are your best friend.. and the sad part neither of them enjoyed he money. Good book!!
