Blaze is the 2nd in the series and also the 2nd book I have read by Willow Summers. I downloaded the first one as a free book and loved the combination of steamy and funny. I promptly downloaded Blaze when I was done. The story continues with characters from the first book but the focus shifts to a different escort. Dave met Janie (Madison's best friend) in book one. He kind of took on the roll of looking out for her since Madison was now with Colton. Dave and Janie have similar backgrounds and grew up poor. Dave helps care for his mother and Janie gets involved. They are both willing to help a friend in need no matter what it costs them. Their banter is different from the first book. A little darker. I loved the way the author continued to develop all the characters. I recommend this book and continued right on with the rest of the series.

I'm having so much fun with this series, I'm only two books in but I'm hooked and my favourite Big D Ethan is next so I'm very excited and intrigued about him.
This is Blaze ( Dave ) and Janie's story. I loved Dave in book 1 he's a hoot and definitely puts the Big D in the company name... literally. 😜
That is until Janie she knocks Dave on his Ass , she's everything he never knew he needed. They are explosive, passionate and perfect together.
Janie is such a wonderful character, she's sweet, loyal has zero filter and speaks her mind no matter what. I bloody love her.

Ohhh Big D!ck Escort Service is back again with a new adventure. And let me tell you it is a blast!
Dave has been working for BD for a while now. He works a lot trying to build up his income, so he can care for his addict mother. He feels he is missing something from his life. He has a fancy large penthouse fancy clothes and a nice car. But Dave can’t help but feel a little lost and alone. He knows he will never have a real relationship as long as his mother continues to fall into relapse with her addiction over and over. He loves his mother and no one will come before her. Hence no relationship goal.
One day while working out, Colton asks Dave if he has heard from Janie. He hasn’t. He has been to busy taking all nighter calls. Colton proceeds to tell Dave that Janie’s ex is out of jail. Remembering what happened to Janie last time her boyfriend was around, he begins to get really worried. When she doesn’t answer his text, he rushes over to her apartment to check on her. Bravo Bravo! Willow Summers has outdone herself with this series. Each book is better than the last. With each story having more depth and emotion as they go. I love this series! I am hooked.
The characters are not only fun and highly entertaining, they are easily relatable. The men are seriously hotter than sin. Each character she creates has a uniqueness that draws you into their story. It sets them apart from others, making them oh so intriguing. You wil love Dave and Janie. Not only is their sexual chemistry off the charts, they each are truly wonderful caring individuals. Their emotions and feelings run deep. Each doing what they need in order to survive the hands of life they were dealt.
This story has a funky snarkiness to it that will have you in stitches at times. But then it also has that emotional seriousness that I’ve come to love with Willow’s books. She tells a serious deep emotional story, but adds in fun and hot sex. It is the perfect combination for a great romance novel! Her writing just flows so nicely that you will never lose interest. Hell you won’t want to put the book down. I am super excited to see what happens next!

I FLOVE this series. I couldn’t wait to read Janie and Dave’s story and it was everything I thought it would be and more.
Janie and Dave are so perfect for each other. Both grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, which is why they seem to get each other. Janie grew up with a she-devil of a mother. She learned from a young age to be tough, to not trust anyone and to keep her guard up. I absolutely loved Janie’s character when we first met her in the first book. She is not only a badass but she’s hilarious. The things that would make their way out of her mouth had me laughing so hard. It was a ton of fun reading it.
Dave is interested in making as much money as possible. He grew up poor and doesn’t want to ever experience that again. He has a huge heart and is very devoted to his mother who he is constantly trying to help.
Janie and Dave have amazing chemistry. The couch scene when they first got together…WOW! Super hot!! They just couldn’t keep away from each other. And even though they try desperately to not get involved in a relationship because they don’t see a future in it, they develop such a strong bond that eventually leads to a deep love for each other.
The main thing I love about this series is how they all have each other’s backs. No matter what, they rally around each other fiercely when someone in the group needs help. It’s beautiful. Like Colton said “We’re better together” They really come through for Janie when it came to her art, even Dick from the gym. And she pays it forward by helping Dave with his mom situation, which was so badass how she took charge and handled it.

Janie and Dave. I did not know how much I needed this book! In the last book we come to know Janie as an abused, closed off woman, on the verge of breaking. In this book she lets her hellfire free! I relate so well to her character because she will kill a beeyacht if they try to hurt her friends but does not take her own advice to heart. She is talented, strong willed, shy and yet very venomous & extremely sexual. She knows what she wants and just reaches out and gets it when it comes to her sexuality, not so much when it comes to her art. She has no self-esteem when it comes to her paintings, sharing them with the world, or even just her friends. Dave is the male version of Janie but more sensitive. Together it is role reversal and yet two sides of the same coin all at once. Dave also will do anything for the people he cares about but is too soft when tough love is really needed. Dave will stand on a mountain top to tell the world how amazing Janie is as an artist, lover and friend but he cannot be so vocal when it comes to his heart. I am usually all about opposites attract but I have to admit this is so much better!
If you are a fan of Colleen Hoover then you will fall in love with Willow Summers. She always writes strong female characters, even when they don’t appear to be at first. Her stories always make you laugh, take you on an adventure, seem too unreal and yet realistic all at the same time, help you heal, have all the feels and of course they are hot, hot, hot with sexy as sin alpha males who get crushed by the woman in their lives who dominate them!

I have been looking forward to this book since the end of the first one. Janie is such a spitfire and nothing is going to keep her down for long. Dave seems like such an easy-going guy, but that sunny personality hides a lot of depth and a gooey, marshmallow heart. They've both got protective streaks a mile wide when it comes to 'their' people. And when they turn that protective force on one another, watch out. There is so much drama and so many big emotions happening in the story, it's actually very good there's also so many side-splittingly funny moments to break the tension. They are so outlandish and so laugh-out-loud funny that my ribs still hurt, and probably will for the rest of the day. This wacky cast of characters wouldn't be the same without each other. When the chips are down, they all pull together to make things right. Even though this is Dave and Janie's book, the rest of them still grab the story and run away with it from time to time. I can't wait to watch the next Big D fall.

Love this series so much and it's only book two. We get to catch up with our friends from Thunder but we focus on Dave aka Blaze and Janie. Janie is Madison's bff and has always struggled do to a learning disability, she has also had to survive an abusive ex. But she is a he'll cat when it comes to her friends. You don't mess with them. When Madison hasn't heard from her Dave goes over to check. He has been keeping watch seen her ex attacked her. But she's not there, then she comes home with all these paintings. She tells him her secret but he doesn't like it so he moves in with her. Then convinces her to start painting and to do a show. In the meantime we learn about Saves mom and see how much Janie really loves Dave. This is a must read. I received this book as an arc and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

I love the Big D books. I was looking forward to Dave and Janie's story and I was not disappointed. This is a fun read with lots of humor but it also deals with some serious issues. Janie's life has pretty much sucked but she doesn't give up in fact she is pretty much kicka$$. Dave didn't draw a winning hand in life either but he never gives up and has a heart the size of Alaska. What I love most about this series is the strong characters and the fact the even though each book is about one couple the whole group is involved in all the action like family. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Oh how I love the dialogue between these characters. They are hilarious. The sarcasm and cracks they take at each other have me LOL every time. I really loved Janie and Dave’s story. Their past and their friendship and then their love for each make them special. They were pretty funny together too. I loved Janie’s art and I loved Ethan’s part in their journey. I can’t wait for his book. The writing was great minus a few paragraphs that had me lost because I wasn’t sure who was talking and what was going on. But other than that the writing was great as usual from this author. The storyline was great and characters were awesome!

A very enjoyable book but with a more serious vein. The main character is Dave. He's big and often irreverent but has a heart as big as he is. The other main character is Janie. She's an incredible artist with a learning disability and money worries that won't stop. She can't keep a job and her loser BF beat the crap out of her in a fit of anger landing her in the hospital. After Madison moves out of the apartment she shares with Janie, Dave moves in to keep an eye on her. He feels very protective of the smart mouthed, smack talking Janie after seeing her in the hospital. The sexual tension between these two is off the charts. There's so much more that happens besides what one would expect and this is probably my favorite book out of the whole series.

We met these characters in book 1. Though this can be read as a standalone, it's much better if you read book 1 first. Dave is such an amazing nice guy, trying to be a good friend to Janie and protect her only now that he's living with her, he is seeing her as a beautiful, sexy woman, not the girl who needed protecting. He becomes her muse and she becomes his addiction. They are off the charts when they hook up, but relationships are impossible when his main income comes from having sex with other women. The guys in this series are so great. I can't wait for more!

I have been waiting very (im)patiently for this second book in the series. I fell in love with Dave and Janie in the first book and was so excited that they were getting their own story. And it was glorious. Their story was a delight to read, from the first page to the last. This is romcom at its finest. Plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, and just enough angst to give you chills but not enough to make you want to slap anyone or shed any tears. Ethan is next, and he is such a hoot that I can't wait to see what kind of batshit-crazy gal catches his attention. Back to waiting.

From the first book, I was hooked. Now I am working toward completing the series. This second instalment has everything you would want. The perfect blend of action, drama and romance willow summers have surely written another bestseller. With every page, I was caught up with the characters that made their appearance as supporting characters in book one and I was happy to see the evolution of the romance between the two as their story was told. I can not wait to complete the series and get myself some closure.

Janie is one of my all time favorite female characters, I think. She fit SOOOO perfectly with Dave. His protectiveness of her and hers of him was so perfect.
Ugh, I just loved this book.
Though, I do have to say, I didn’t find the smut very hot at all. I have read a hell of a lot worse, but I just expect more from Willow. And I do Just wish it was... more. I wish they had done it in more public places, it had been just more. Again, I’m missing the hot sex appeal that the ‘Please’ series had.

I am really pleased that the red line from book one was not broken. This is a terrific series! I love the characters; real people who have chosen to make a family with their friends. Janie and Dave's story is terrific, with lots of laughter and love throughout. Both of the books in the series so far have been amazing, and I'm excited for the next, so I can see what happens with the boys at Big D!
