What even is this book, lol? No really... Anyway, not really sure what I expected with this one. The kids couldn't have cared less. The rhymes were interesting enough at first I guess, but they did not have enough substance for the kids to listen or care what happened next. It was a glorified baby board book with worse pictures. I tried it because it was one of our only St. Patrick's Day books, but what a waste of their attention and my time. Next time, I'm just reading Tiny!

It was so simple. I am seven years old. I think this book would be good for four or five year olds.

Good for the concept of rhymes but not great for expanding your child's vocabulary unless you're wanting to specifically teach them to read names.

This is a "pre level 1" book. The text is basic and more for a child learning to read than a 'storybook' to read out loud. Many repetitive words and word that rhyme. Doesn't really tell a story in the text alone, but the illustrations help you understand what the story is.

Ants chasing after a leprechaun ant. The rhyming makes it nice and fun, but sounding out all the names makes it a little challenging for my 4 yr old.
