4 short stories of science and death: Mayfly, My Turn, Art and Dislocation.
A collection of science-fiction ‘what-if’ stories. Do aliens appreciate art? Is teleportation such a good idea? What if procreation meant the ultimate sacrifice? The author explores these and other questions in this collection.

He is the author of the Arkship Saga, a science-fiction series set in the distant future after the Earth has been destroyed along with the rest of the solar system in a cataclysmic event known as the Fracture. Another great find in the boundless random sea of kindle freebies. This tiny collection is essentially a taster of the author's talent and works very well as such. The stories were imaginative, original and clever, just the science fiction I enjoy, Black Mirror ish or esque. Only took about 30 minutes to read and well worth the time. Science and death are in fact the subjects, so the book definitely delivers on its bleak and heavy promise, although (pleasant surprise this was) not in a uniformly bleak and heavy way. Recommended.
A collection of short stories award winning author Niel Bushnell you will not want to miss. The theme is obviously dark, but the stories are definitely thought provoking and an excellent read. If you like stories that have somewhat twisted or hard to guess at endings, this is a great choice for you.
