Monique Orgeron is a Contemporary Romance w/ suspense author. Stern Family Saga

Written by Monique Orgeron’s eldest, most beautiful, and intelligent daughter. (My sister is going to hate this part.)
My mom happens to be the most caring, loving, and stubborn person I know, well anyone knows. She gives 100% percent of herself to everyone and has given up so much of herself for my sister and I. For twenty-one years she has poured her heart and soul into making sure we know that we are loved and that we can do anything we put our minds too, but it was about time she figured that out about herself.
Up until this year I hadn’t seen my mom do anything for only her, but this book has allowed her to travel the world through the pages of a book, make new friends, and feel the joy of doing something exciting.
There is a new light behind her eyes and it is just making me feel more joy than she can ever imagine. While she might be annoying most of the time, I am so thrilled that she is finally allowing herself to grow as a person and not spend all of her energy on her family.
It has been a long journey of self-discovery for my mom; she has gone from domestic supermom to domestic goddess throughout the process of writing.
We are so very excited and proud of you! I love you as big as the world.

Art of Seduction (A Stern Family Saga, Book One)
By Monique Orgeron (M. Orgeron)
5 Stars

WOW!!! What a Debut Author! I don’t know where Monique Orgeron has been hiding. To come out with her first book this well written, flowed perfectly and not one time did I find myself having to go back a page or 2 to figure out what was going on. If I were a gambling gal, this bet I would have lost. I honestly thought that this was a veteran author now writing under a pen name.

So, once I found out that this was a ‘virgin’ author that nailed it with her debut book, I can only see brighter stars coming from Monique Orgeron!

This book takes you on a Mother’s journey of love. Love for her 3 boys. Catherine will stop at nothing to provide, support and ensure her boys have what they need in life to survive.

Fallon is an 18-year-old that is one step away from prostituting her body just to survive. Shuffled through foster care growing up, between living with her on again off again mother… She is now working in a diner begging for more hours and living in a crappy apartment.

Her eldest son Gabriel is who Catherine is focused on in this book. He needs a wife that will be his support, his shoulder to lean on, someone who is a strong headed woman that can lead her husband to success.

Catherine has been known to control her boys, she knows everything they do and more. Truly though, she does what she does, out of Love. But there are secrets as to why she does what she does. There are reasons for who she picks.

It’s uncovering all the pieces in the puzzle, slowly fitting them together, that brings together a beautiful picture!!!

Although this is a Standalone, there will be more!!!
Art of Forgiveness – Liam’s Story
Art of War – Zander’s Story
Art of Loyalty – Vin’s Story
Bring them on!!!

OMG this book was so good!!!!!! ❤️❤️
I loved it!

❝Maybe you’ve heard about how the man is the head of the family? The man may be the head of the family, but the woman is the neck. As his neck, you can turn his head in any direction you want; hence, making you very powerful indeed.❞

This story is about Gabriel and Fallon. Fallon is a poor neglected girl. Gabriel runs a casino and he is also a mafia gangster. His mother is a very powerful woman. When she meets Fallon she thinks she is perfect for her son. She becomes Fallon's mentor and she changes her life. Fallon and Gabriel meet and fall in love but Gabriel won't let his mother run his life.

Steamy and angsty love story with some suspense. I loved loved that heroine was a virgin and that hero was her first everything. I respect a heroine who is holding out for true love and is not your typical slut. What I loved even more was that our hero has sex with a prostitute after he meets the heroine. I am sick and tired of pussy whipped heroes. A mafia boss would never become a saint after one meeting with the heroine. Not realistic at all.

Can't wait for the second book in the Stern family saga about Gabriel's brother. Good job Monique Orgeron u are fantastic! :)

When one of my dear friends praises a book with a line : "10+ stars", and highly recommends it to me, I'm like : "pfft duh?! alrighty then..."

And even if it wasn't quite the 5 star read for me, I have to say that I am surprised in a pleasant way by its content and concept to start with.

The story of one powerful woman, who arranged and organized hers and her sons' lives in order to obtain the level of status the Stern name carried in the world of shady business, politics and underground manipulaition. Catherine Stern is the power to be recon with, but this is not her story, no, this story she would create from the background, she would create a path for her eldest son, Gabriel Stern. A man who is aware of his mother's games and controlling ways, but when she presents a young woman into the family, as a long lost friends daughter, no one can rest assure that the innocence isn't quite inocent, apart from the obvious.

The question is, how far will Gabriel let the ways of this fresh flower of addictive beauty make him crumble, inspite of everything he knows, inspite of everythings he goes against, inspite of the lingering notion that it's all arranged and orchestrated by his mother...

And the answer is, not too long, as the art of seduction is well learnt by this beauty, and she will succeed, and Gabriel will fall at her feet....BUT apart from the lust, she can't help but want more, his heart.

But as all things come to an end, before the final resolvement comes to the spotlight, secrets will be shattered as glass and some done deeds from the past will change the aspect of one's future, or better yet it will confirm further more that she already truly belongs where she already is.

It's a truly interesting concept of the storyline presented in this book, and I was really taken by surprise. It was alluring and exciting, filled with angst and anticipation and I loved those aspects BUT I sometimes found the dialogues a bit immature and childish as I thought the very act of seduction was seriously well interwoven in the plot. And I also had some issues with the reasoning of the main female character as well as for some actions from the male character.

BUT I guess, those things are the usual perks/peeves of this reading process of mine *smirks*

I had never read anything by this author and I ended up getting hooked.
Family with a powerful boss who is the mother of heroes. She is a strong and very interesting character.
I enjoyed our heroine and she's no fool, she has the smarts learned the harshness of life in poverty.
Our hero is interesting and a typical alpha male.
I will not give more details so as not to spoil the reading.
Liked and recommend it!

"The man may be the head of the family, but the woman is the neck. As his neck, you can turn his head in any direction you want; hence, making you very powerful indeed.”"

"“Now, from woman to woman, if you do fall in love with him, I will feel sorry for you. Because only when you love someone do they have the power to destroy you.”"

"I will never marry someone my mother hand picked out or trained. My wife and my family will be of my choosing."

Omg why. I mean look at that cover and blurb but it was nothing like I expected.
The Mom was a Tiger parent and she was basically training this teen girl to seduce her son. Seduce. Her. Son. Very explicitly.
Plus the writing was.. I can't describe. Ugh waste of my time. Do you know how much University work I have?!

For A debut author's maiden venture, this book is pretty well written, she has the unusual story all laid out and seems like a very thought out plot. Catherine Stern is the Matriarch of the Stern Family , determined to keep her family of Four powerful and handsome boys, together and strong. She's sacrificed and endured enough to be taken seriously and has earned respect of the entire town. She's revered and her reputation of being tough-as-nails precedes her, but her heart ahs special soft places for her son's.
Gabriel, Zander, Liam and also Vin who's like a son to her. For supremacy of her All Powerfull clan she goes out to look for a suitable wife for her eldest son, Gabriel.
Fallon is the chosen one. Catherine rescues her from squalor and grooms and schools her to fit her opulent and privileged world and Fallon is a fast and smart learner.
The story was a bit strange(read unique) and it did flow really well, I just wished there had been more dialogue than musings and thoughts. It gave a passive tone to the book, just my opinion!!!
A good read all in all

Wow, I’m sorry but I simply can’t believe why anyone would find this any good - it sounded promising from the blurb, as well as the first few chapters..
BUT, from there on it’s a horrible read with far too many exclamation points, occasional bad grammar and editing. However, worst is the dialogue and inner monologue which makes you think they’re all petulant pubescents and not a seductress surrounded by hardcore “mafia guys”.

“I shout, “Both of you shut the fuck up and leave me alone!”
- ..said the 29-year-old Gabriel, who most of the time thinks, talks and acts like a pubescent boy and not an adult man.

It could’ve had potential, but the writing is immature and same goes for the characters - and well, the execution of the plot is simply ridiculous..

I'm sorry... I honestly don't see how anyone can give this book a rating higher than 2, 3 at the very best. Let's just go over the things I didn't like about this book:

1. The two leads are arguably the most boring pair out of all the other characters we were introduced to. At the very least we got to know Fallon since most of the story is in her POV, but I can't for the life of me describe what Gabriel is like other than he's overprotective of his family. (I'll get into this in detail in a bit.) However, in general all the characters in this book felt very one dimensional with the Catherine being the sole exception. It's like the author assigned one characteristic/archetype to each one of them, and that's all they were for the entirity of the book. For instance, We got zero emotion from all of these other characters other than Gabriel's rage which was just horrible to read. Any time we did get some emotion, it's just mentioned once probably and we're not shown what they're feeling, and this just left me with zero connection with ANY of the characters other than Catheirne.

2. Fallon and Gabriel had in my opinion absolutely no chemistry whatsoever, but then again they weren't given the opportunity to truly bond and get to know one another for us to experience that. Like, everytime they said they loved each other I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Like..where's the love?

3. Gabriel's character in general is so...immature. I don't see how Fallon, or anyone, can love someone like him. The guy has serious anger issues which isn't addressed in the book, and he's so overprotective it makes me gag. On top of that, he needs to work on his communication. He's so closed off I feel so bad for Fallon. He'd just shut down and she has to be the one to ask him what's going on, almost all the time. He was just...no.

4. The dialogue in this book is laughable tbh

5. The plot was...what was the plot. I guess it was just their love story.

6. The writing was alright but sometimes it was just so choppy. We're never shown how the characters feel, the author just tells us. Moreover, this book is so damn long but nothing is ever described. Even Fallon's wedding dress isn't described, it's just described as...her dress.

So yeah, I can't believe I finished this either. 1 star.

Art of Seduction by Monique Orgeron is the first book in the "A Stern Family Saga". This is the story of Gabriel and Fallon. Fallon life started off with a mother who drank and only seem to want her when she was useful to her. When Fallon turned 18 and also became prettier than her mother...her mother tossed her out of the house. So Fallon started working at a cheap dinner where she meets Catherine Catherine takes her under her wing to train, teach and educate Fallon on being the perfect women for her son Gabriel. Catherine wasn't a women born with a silver spoon and thinks that her sons needs street smart women who also have the education and grace of a lady. Gabriel of course is to be in the dark about Catherine and Fallon's relationship and teaching. But can they build a life on something that started off with dishonesty?
I think this is the first book by Ms. Orgeron and I must say this was a great first book! I look so forward to reading more from this author!

What an amazing story! I struggled to put this book down, it's highly addictive, once you start you just don't want to stop!

I love Fallon and Catherine and Gabriel and I can't wait to read the rest of the brothers stories and learn more about them.

This book is different. I wasn't sure what would happen or what motives Catherine had. At first I was very wary of her character. There's plenty of plot twists that kept me reading into the early hours, this is a book that you will devour.

Magnificent debut, I'm so excited for the rest of this series! Five stars!

Wasn’t too sure what I was getting into here. First time I’ve read this author and I didn’t read the blurb, I wanted to be surprised. It wasn’t what I expected, it was better. I found a couple spots dragged for me and a a spot or two that switched gears so fast I had to re read pages to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
My fav thing is that this book has strong determined female characters

3.5 Stars...... SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS AHEAD

READ with CAUTION, you ARE WARNED!!!!!!

OK, sooooo where to start, how to describe, lol. So ok, it starts out good, although a bit cheesy and far-fetched but hey, I am still onboard with the story and very intrigued. So, as we get to the meat and potatoes, hmmm, this is where I had some issues. First off the whole Brittany and I do mean every aspect of her character from Gabriel's relationship to Fallon's....ummmmm that was a no for me especially where Fallon's relationship ended up going with her, friends, hmmm I think not but that's just me! Don;t get me wiorng, I really liked Brittany lol I know that sounds bizarre BUT I didn't need all the info and scene between her and Gabriel and the fact that Fallon ends up being friends with her, all TOO freaking weird and the whole Catherine being involved in all of that....just a NO for me.

Did I like the characters, YES, BUT Fallon started off as a great character for me but somewhere along the lines with her new found confidence she got annoying to me, up until almost the end I have to say. She was bitchy, whiny, her character HAD such more potential than how this author eneded up portraying her if that makes sense.

Gabriel, liked him but didn't like his decision making at times. What REALLY made me mad was at the end of their story well, towards the end Catherine tells Fallon to go to Gabriel because it was an instance like he was in that he would call Brittany, and then proceeds to say the night is not over so she needs to get there. For me, ALL of that was a total turn-off completely and for me, it ruined the relationship a bit for me. I mean really would Gabriel have called another woman OR would he have stayed true to Fallon, now THAT was what I wanted and needed to be proved. Hence why my rating waivered at 3.5 Stars rather than 4....even 5 it could have been if not for some of the storyline for me.

All in all , I really liked it alot and yet I disliked some parts of their story sadly! Will I read more in this series, yes!

HOLY HELL I would have never believed that Art of Seduction was a debut book if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Here I thought that I had been missing out on another fabulous author, but FINALLY! I'm right on time for a fantastic party that's made up of A Stern Family Saga series written by a new brilliant author! Let me try to generically describe it so nothing is given up that may be construed as spoiler douchery. Fallon's upbringing was filled with pain & loneliness, which taught her early on in life that she can only count on herself. That is, until a strange lady offers her a new life, which Fallon takes & never looks back. The snag in her new life is the target, Gabriel, who has the power to break her heart, & while Fallon is a survivor, can she survive him? That's the best that I could do, and I had to throw in some of the author's blurb even, but trust me, there's sooooooooo much more to this story than you will see in a description or reviews, so just save yourself some time, and read it! Fallon is a great heroine that I LOVED watching her evolve from broken girl to powerful woman, while Gabriel is so yummy, but he still made some douche moves that I'm still mad about. Together they just about made my kindle explode with their sparks that ignited into panty destroying sexy time goodness! And the highly entertaining cast of secondaries lightened up the story while adding depth. INSANE twists & turns were everywhere, and I'm still dropping f-bombs all over the place. All I can say about the brilliant Monique Orgeron is a talent that I NEVER saw coming, so now she's on my list of addictions. I CANNOT WAIT for the next 3 books, as they can't come quickly enough, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Omg!!! Fantastic, Amazing, Phenomenal, and Brilliant Storyline!!

This book was definitely keeping me on my toes with the suspense!! From beginning to end, I was so interested on how this book will end.... And let me tell you that, you won’t be disappointed at all!!

It was a phenomenal ending which I seriously couldn’t stop laughing so much because the Stern Family are just one badass, crazy loving family. ♥️

What I love about this book the most is how the author created two female role who haves so much strength and power. Not some girl who needs saving, but just some girl who seeks love because in the end the girl can save herself.

We constantly read Romance books where the male role is the hero, women in distress needs saving. However, I tell you from now this book does not follow that direction because here in this story line the women are a forced to be reckoned with!! They are strong, beautiful, intelligent, and inspirational for overcoming any obstacles in their way!!

So I tell you know, download this book and fall in love with the Stern Family because they will warm their self in your ♥️ ♥️ .

I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Stern Family I know it will be an amazing series!!

PS: I hope we get a book on Catherine since she has definitely became one of my favorite overly protective mama bear 🐻 lol! 💋

Not what I expected

At first, I wasn't sure what I was getting into with this story.
So at first, Catherine turned me off, she was almost like a pimp, but by the end of this book I was loving her and crying for her. Catherine shows up at the diner that Fallon is working at. She tells Fallon that if she wants to make anything of her life then she should walk out with her and become someone.
So over the next few years, Catherine trains Fallon to become a sophisticated woman. But there is a reason for everything that Catherine does.

Fallon knows why she is doing this. She wants a better life for herself. She is hoping that everything that Catherine is doing will pan out. That includes marrying Gabriel, Catherine's son. But when she finally meets him, she wants more than just his ring. She wants his heart also.

Gabriel has lived his whole life watching his mother make decisions for the business. He knows when he meets Fallon that everything Catherine says is not true and that something is up. But he will be damned if he can stay away from her. But he will also not play his mothers game. But Fallon just might be more than he ever planned for.

These characters are beautiful and so well written. I couldn't put this story down. I loved this story and am excited to read the next story.

Art of Seduction is the first installment of the Stern Family Saga.

For a debut release Monique has nailed it. Her writing was impeccable and the story line was fantastic.

"What do they say? All’s fair in love and war."

Fallon was delt a crappy hand in life. She had a mother who couldn't stand her, and kicked her out when she was old enough.
One day while working at the Diner a lady by the name of Catherine Stern comes in and makes Fallon an offer she can't refuse.
Now before I continue let me add that i loved Catherine!!! She is a very strong and powerful independent woman who won't allow anyone to mess with her family.
She takes Fallon under her wing and grooms her to be just like her for her son Gabriel.
Things get very interesting and secrets are revealed. This book was amazing, honestly. I still can't belive this was a debut book.

I have a confession to make. I have no idea how this book showed up on my kindle. I mean, obviously I downloaded it but what I mean is that I don’t remember if I won it in a contest, if it was a freebie in a newsletter or if my magical book fairy just made it appear *poof* (actually, wouldn’t that be awesome if there really was such a thing?).

I really enjoyed this book. There are a couple of different layers all going on at the same time and it held my attention from beginning to end. The plot lines were easy to follow and there were even a few surprises along the way. There is mystery and intrigue and innocence and swoon worthy men.

Art of Seduction features a matriarch who has her sons’ interests in mind when she plots to marry them off. Catherine Stern reminds me of Joseph Anderson from Melody Anne’s Billionaire series (a series I love) and I look forward to seeing how she plans the rest of her sons’ futures.

The Art of Seduction is book one in the Stern Family Saga by Monique Orgeron. I thought this was a masterfully written book. Orgeron weaves an elaborate web around the reader until you are sucked into a world of lies, deceit, seduction and romance. I thought her characters were well constructed and likable. There are quite a few steamy and explicit sex scenes. The Stern family are not who they appear to be on the surface. There are plenty of twists and turns to hold your attention. Orgeron keeps the story moving and the reader hooked. I’m looking forward to more. I was given a copy of this book.

Art of Seduction by Monique Orgeron
Fallon has looked after her ungrateful, alcoholic mother, all while working a dead-end job just to pay the bills. After one too many fights, Fallon decides she has had enough and needs to start making a life for herself. When a powerful woman propositions her, she knows it is an opportunity she needs to take. Catherine Stern is hell-bent on finding her eldest son, Gabriel, the perfect wife, even if her methods are a bit underhanded. Catherine Stern is powerful, well connected and admired by many. Gabriel is well aware of his mother’s games and her controlling nature and he does not want anything to do with Fallon, even though the first time he meets her, he wants her. Fallon meets Gabriel and is immediately attracted to him. However, it seems that Mrs. Stern has left some important information out. When Gabriel rebuffs the beautiful woman, she decides to look at other suitors for a better opportunity and this is when Gabriel decides that she is his. But has he left it too late and is he prepared to admit defeat to his mother. The powerful Mrs. Stern seems to have a story all of her own. The storyline is interesting, exciting, and full of angst, building climax and lots of anticipation. The main characters and the secondary characters will keep you entertained. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this talented author. This one I would highly recommend.
