ఎన్నో రోజుల తర్వాత యండమూరి వీరేంద్రనాథ్ గారి నవల చదివాను. మొదటి నవల వెనెల్లో ఆడపిల్ల చదివాక ఇదిగో మళ్ళీ ఇప్పుడు. యండమూరి వీరేంద్రనాథ్ గారి నవలలు అంటే స్ఫూర్తిదాయకంగా , ప్రేమ నవలలు ఉంటాయి అని తెలుసు కానీ పూర్తిగా అంతరిక్షం సంబంధించి నవల రాసి దానిలో ప్రేమ బాంధవ్యాలు , triangular ప్రేమ కథని జోడించి పాఠకుని కి ఆకట్టుకునేలా నవల యండమూరి గారు రాస్తారు అని నేను అసలు అనుకోలేదు.
పుస్తక ముందుమాట లో నండూరి రామమోహనారావు గారు ఇలా రాసారు "అనురాగం అంబరమైతే .. ఆకాశపు అంచులు చూస్తాము అన్నట్టు రొమాన్స్ ని అంతరిక్షంలోకి కూడా తీసుకువెళ్లారు" యండమూరి గారు అంతరిక్ష పరిజ్ఞానంలో కూడా నిష్ణాతులు అని ఈ నవల చదివిన వారికి అర్ధం అవుతుంది.ఒక common man కి అర్ధం అయేటట్టు సులువుగా అనిపించింది నవల చదివాక. ఈ సైన్స్ ఫిక్షన్ కథ ఆకట్టుకుంది. నేను చూసిన interstellar, Gravity , ఆదిత్య 369 సినిమాలు గుర్తు వచ్చాయి ఈ నవల చదివాక.

Aditya 369 is inspired from H.G wells Back to the future novel. And then we have 2001 space odessey novel . మాములుగా ఇలాంటి ఏ సైన్స్ ఫిక్షన్ కథ ఇతివృత్తాం ఇంతకు ముందు రాసిన science fiction novels కావచ్చు. ఈ నవలలో అక్కడక్కడ సన్నివేశాలు చదువుతుంటే అరెరే ఇలాంటిదే మనం interstellar లో చూసమే , గ్రావిటీ సినిమా లో చూసాము కదా అని అబ్బురపరిచేలా అనిపించింది. ఎక్కడ 1989(మొదట ఈ నవల ఉదయం పత్రికలో వారం వారం కథ లా వచ్చేది) , ఎక్కడ 2023 ..

"విద్యుత్ వలయంలో అయస్కాంతం స్పందించినట్లు... ఆలోచనలు మానసిక సంఘర్షణలకు గురిచేస్తాయి"
This is true in all sense and very deep. We are busy in our life and we have many priorities to do and everyday is a learning and staying happy and making the life balance is the key. In such kind of living ,we all need to behave and understand about distractions and quarrels. When they keep of coming like magnetic attraction what is the purpose of our life and how can you achieve productivity in your life on the things you want to do.


"కలలో కూడా ఊహించలేని పనులు మనుషులు చేయ్యగలిగాడు. నిరాశవాదాన్ని జయించి ,అసాధ్యమనుకున్న పనులు చేసి అంతరిక్షంలో దూసుకుపోతున్నారు. కారణం ఆశావాదమే! "
We all deal with pessimistic life and sometimes we keep on procrastinating. While reading this book inspiration imbibes us and tells about optimistic life unknowingly. Yes ,how beautiful our world will be if we live in Optimistic life and ignore the negativity.

"...గాలక్సీ అంచులవరకి వెళ్లి ..పెళ్లి పిల్లలు సంసారం సుఖం లాంటి విషయాలు చాలా అల్పంగా తోస్తున్నాయి ఇప్పుడు"

This is deep. We may have many big problems and considering other small problems as big problem tells us how low life we are living. Nobody consoles you and it's yourself that you have to console your soul. Facing with the challenges ,crushing in the burdens ,holding the heavy heart , invisible tears all are unknown pals going along with us in the life.

నేను రాసిన నా భావాలు నాకు ఉన్న పరిజ్ఞానం వరకే . My whole hearted thank you to for such wonderful book.

Cheekatlo Suryudu by Yandamoori Veerendranath is the first Telugu science fiction novel I’ve read, and it left a lasting impression. The story follows a team of space explorers on a mission to save Earth from extraterrestrial beings who, in harnessing solar energy for their survival, threaten life on our planet.

Remarkably written in 1989, the novel evokes strong Interstellar vibes with its imaginative plot and emotional depth. Though the climax may feel slightly underwhelming, the narrative remains engaging and thought-provoking throughout.

యండమూరి గారి ప్రతిభకు ఈ పుస్తకం అద్దం పడుతుంది. చక్కగా వ్రాశారు, కొంచెం ముగింపు ఇంకా బాగుండొచ్చు అని అనిపించింది. కాని చాలా మంచి విషయాలు మనకు తెలిసేలా చేస్తుంది ఈ పుస్తకం

the book was not good as his novels. But I appreciate the effort he put to write this book really awesome. This is not curious but you won't get boared because the characters he narrated, love, respect, human behaviour, super computer, spacecity, galaxy, aliens ..etc.
Definitely we can learn some new things about space. Thanks yandamuri

A very good science fiction novel in Telugu from a populour writer. Though appears to have taken inspiration from so many English novels/movies ( Bramha Vidya for sure is from 2001 Space Odyssey), the author has blended it with his own imagination and fiction and compiled a beautiful story to give a science fiction novel in space genre to telugu readers. A must read.

Its cool to read a science fiction in Telugu. It starts of slow but picks momentum further into the story. I felt the author had to dumb down many things for the sake of readers. And some pseudo science fiction concepts are a letdown. All in all , its a good read but not a great one .
