This 3rd book in the series examined Tink's life, the owner of Honey Chile's restaurant. Being the owner took pure dedication dealing with the good & the bad. While Mr. Samuels had been a blessing since Tink was a child, his sister Vera was definitely a thorn in her side once she met her in Tink's adult years. Tink's mother Caren was also one to get Tink riled up while Ms. Ely was there to keep her peacefully grounded. Even with negativity surrounding Tink, this story showed how God's love & goodness will see you through the storm. There were instances that were unexpected as blessings were bestowed. Storyline was well written with realistic characters & situations. Enjoyable ending

This book was sooooo good. LaShonda Bowman has a way of writing a story that draws you end and you will experience lots of emotions. I am looking forward to reading more about Ms. Ely.

Wow... This was such an amazing read. And let me tell you I love all LaShonda Bowman's books but this one is my new favorite! I seriously did not want it to end.
I went on such an emotional ride with Tink that at some points I was literally bawling my eyes out like someone I knew had died! Other times I thought, oh no... clearly I need to ask the Lord to change my character because, whew child that could not be me! Then other times I literally felt like the Holy Spirit came through my kindle and spoke to me. I felt So uplifted. There are no other words for how thoroughly I was edified and entertained on this one. May God continue to bless you and guide your hands L.B and I recommend this book to everyone!

This book was soo good. In this book we catch up with Tink who is riding high off the success of her restaurant Honey Chile. But before she can open her second location problem after problem keep piling on. But we all know God won't put more on us than we can bear. But will Tink break or get through it all. I suggest you read the book to find out.

Taste and see
This is just like the rest of Lashonda's books, the Best ever. She has endured health issues and has still been able to keep up with writing her books. Her readers are not left hanging and you are able to remember that last book and key up. I don't usually buy series's but Lashonda Bowman books are worth every dime!!! Love it all the way to the next series!!!

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the storyline and characters. Natalie (Tink) had to be strong to overcome all the changes she went through. But with her belief in God and support, she was able to overcome doubt, find companionship and learn lessons in Faith. . I recommend this book.

Awesome book!
It started out a little boring, but the more I read it became very good. I love the fact that forgiveness is always in order and to see how tink was believing one thing about who her father was not realizing that she was truly spending time with her biological father was a blessing. Things like this story truly happens in life. I'm a product of such. Good job!

Great Read
I just love series reading; but yours get better and better. I continuously looking to start the next one. I find myself jumping ahead. I then have to go back. So far I have enjoyed All of your books, praying that you keep them coming. May The Good Lord continue to Bless you and yours.

A great book.
This book was so good to me. Talk about testing of faith. The story is so many of us, always trying to do things in our own strength. The author teaches us that we must trust God in every situation.

Faith Filled
Once I started reading this book, I just couldn't put it down!!! I didn't realize it was book 2, now I have to ho back and read book 1 so that I can read book 3! It was relatable, encouraging, and positive. It was a wonderful read.

Loved It!
As always, LaShonda Bowman has hit another home run. I just love, loves, love Ms. Ely. She is a no nonsense, strong woman. I think that Tink will have a better relationship with her parents since the secrets have been exposed!!

Very tasty
Combining food love and lies was a great twist for this book in my opinion. Once again the author has a way of making each character feel alive and you can't wait to learn their story.

Refreshing
I always love a good series. This story tugged at my heart strings and made me hungry at the same time. I was out loud cheering before it hit Tink that she was going to get Vera back in the best way. Just see for your self.

I like this author but this book did not hold my interest to the point that even when I was twenty percent into it I still didn’t identify with the characters.

Great book
This book really shows how damaging secrets and lies can be. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I felt Tinks pain and was glad she received double for her trouble.
