I have no idea where to start. First, I hated these characters. Second, if you hate cheating in a book then mark this on a do not read. Wrecker wants his ex back, after he screwed some other lady(he was screwing many more but this is the only one she caught him with) and she left him for 5 years and the first time he sees her and tells her he wants her back, he sticks his finger in a random lady's lower business (if you know what I mean). This book is written pretty damn well which is why I'm so disgusted with how repulsive the characters are. The male lead is un-redeemable and the female is all fire and sass and tells him he can f off but the next thing you know she's riding him (sans condom), I'm sorry, I don't like this book at all. If you like stories like this, then good on you and have fun with it...I am not one of those people. Then lets get to the fact that he punches her and she punches him and then they have sex in the remains of a dead person....this is repugnant. I almost didn't finish it but my ocd won't allow that. I'm sorry, it's written pretty well but it's horrid.

Originally, she caught him, got hurt, and left. So when she comes back, he makes it a point to be sweet and go the distance to be with other women 🥴.
Not the mention him punching her (and him punching him back 😐)
In the epilogue, ten years later, he claims to not cheat on her (besides being tempted many times and self pleasuring after shooting porn and owning strip clubs) but admits he’s gotten bjs here and there over the years 🥴. But it’s okay cause d, fingers, and tongue haven’t touched another woman’s v 🙄

I picked this book up because originally there were only 5 star reviews (no negatives) and no mentions of what the book was actually about. However, for the life of me, I cannot understand how anyone can say they liked this book - much less write this kind of abusive behavior and call it entertaining!
I don't know how we got to this point where writers/publishers can print this type of garbage where the entire couple's relationship is abusive and in which H constantly cheats & even punches the woman they are suppose to love and readers love it. Really??? Is this truly what people find entertaining and accepting in their own personal lives - much less their fictional reading? No thanks.

Kudos to the authors!
I followed the posts of the authors on social media and I expected something unsafe to read. I started reading with fear, but as they are some of my favorite authors, I went with an open mind.
I started reading and didn't stop until I reached the end of the book.
It's all so fake and over the top you're not outraged by the behavior of the characters. Because it's all unbelievable and unrealistic.
Everything is extreme, since the personality of the heroes to their actions.
It has some scenes of carnage that left me disgusted a little, but who are so over the top that end up being funny. Because the reaction of the heroes is unbelievable.
I just loved the heroine and the scene where was EPIC! There she won me over completely.
She's not a doormat that accepts all the hero does, she simply takes revenge and damn the consequences.
If you are tired of women with no personality and no fire, I recommend reading.
The hero is an acquired taste, you get mad at him and then getting used to his manwhore way.
Hero is pretty crazy!
The two together are explosives and keeps the story interesting.
It's a train wreck happening that we can't help but follow.
I just love when heroin beats the shit out of the club whores.
I had so much fun reading and keeping up with the insanity of heroes.
I think the two will never be faithful and will always have a relationship as an erupting volcano or nuclear explosion.

What the fuck did I just read? Hello, blow jobs are still cheating you fucking idiot. Lord, I read the reviews and STILL, I read this shit. Non hero, non heroine. The whole fucking thing gave me a headache. I did give it one star due to the fact it was such a trainwreck, I needed to see happened in the end. Good lord. Talk about wanting to shoot someone. I wanted someone to shoot both of them. Ugh!
FYI: he cheats throughout the whole relationship. Even 10 years later. Yes, true love ladies. He only gets blow jobs when on the road. Stand up guy.

This intense MC story is not for every reader but the authors Martens and Maynard will grab you, hold you til the very end of the gritty story. MC books range from cute, mild to triggers galore... this one was most definitely the latter! But I still loved this couple, Harlee and Wrecker! Harlee was not a pushover either! This girl literally kills because of something she saw her father do! Oh, did I mentioned the graphic language throughout the story?
So readers, you have been twice warned by me and as the authors said: This book is not intended for safe readers. It basically contains anything that will make you want to throw your e-reader so read it at your own risk. Their words don't lie either!

October 1, 2017Besides being a plot overused and overdone, there are things that honestly, I am not even gross out. I know I should, but reading reviews I only feel annoyance. In this kind of books the formula is the same old same old. It feels like it's a way to inflict shock value and repugnance on purpose. Abuse, rape, violence, cheating, unfaithfulness etc. All ingredients to make a mc book. It seems all requirements are checked.

You Wreck Me was the first book in the Prospect series by Glenna Maynard and Dawn Martens.
Harlee was the daughter to the President of the Blue Devil’s MC. She was the MC Princess that everyone loved and cherished. She had a rude awakening in High School about the MC life and took off when she turned eighteen and never looked back. Well, not until four years later when she was being followed and knew her dad would know what to do.
Wrecker was the never ending prospect for the Blue Devil’s. He had one last assignment until he was promised a patch, bring home Harlee.
Wrecker and Princess have history. He was her first love and her first heartbreak. She hated him with a passion. The book description was very clear: expect cheating and many kindle throwing moments. And that’s exactly what we got. There were also quite a few editing errors, especially at the beginning of the book.
Overall I liked the description of the book and even the general premise but I struggled with the characters. I liked Harlee - her strength, beauty and toughness- but I hated Wrecker. And then Harlee just pretty much caved, losing her strength and toughness. I can handle unsafe books but he was just gross and not redeemable. And nothing about his actions looked like love so it was really hard for me to get through it. I prevailed and the ending worked out, but it wasn’t among my favorite books, to say the least. With that said, I’m open to more in the series but I’d like to see more depth and redeemable qualities in the hero.

OMG!!!
This was insane! I mean, every hair raising yucky trigger you can think of is packed in this book. The author is unapologetic and brazen in using every moment of this story to rub our faces in things that are OH SO WRONG!
The heroine is the badass daughter of the MC's president. Her and the hero used to be in love years before until she caught him cheating. She has a whole interesting backstory as to why she LOATHES IT.
But it was entertaining and over the top and gave no real whiff of 'take me seriously'. I picked this up without reading reviews, so I had no clue what I was getting myself into. let it be said that upon finishing this story, I needed a hot shower with bleach! Some stuff was just... gross. it's a biker trope with a total emphasis on sex and not so much a story.
Despite all unpopular triggers, it was well written and contained a well deserved resolution.

A tale of bent and twisted characters- the main characters...demonstrate a whole new meaning to the term dysfunctional.
Harlee, the club Princess left the outlaw lifestyle after being bullied in school by children claiming to be her father’s; witnessing her father cheating on her mother first-hand and her mother ultimately committing suicide. The final straw was catching her boyfriend Carter (Wrecker), her first boyfriend, her first love, her first everything...doing the same to half the town including the married ones.
Initially in disbelief … she followed him and witnessed him in the act with a recently married woman, confronting him, she realised the rumours were in fact all true.
Five years later after walking away, she rings her father, Demon, president of the Blue Devils MC, after realising she is being followed. He sends her a protector, the same one she left behind. He was the last man she ever wanted to set her eyes on, having warned him if she saw him again she would shoot ‘it’ off.
The run was picking up a girl and delivering her to their safehouse, except it’s his ex, the daughter of the club president. Wrecker has waited for Harlee’s return, five years of pure debauchery, if it has a pulse he nails it - and he isn’t discriminating. Harlee hates Wrecker and although he loved her - he loves women and indiscriminate sex more.
Due to her father’s machinations, she returns as he’s living on borrowed time (cancer) and wants her away from stripping and to get to know his only granddaughter.
Their ‘reconciliation’ and I use this term loosely was an ongoing one-upmanship of jealousy. Harlee made it her mission to drive Wrecker insane with jealousy whilst teaching him lessons on keeping it in his trousers.
She doled out retribution until Wrecker transformed his predilection although it depends on your definition of transformation.

I've read numerous Dawn Martens books before so I knew what to expect in this book. There are a few graphic scenes with other women and the H rapes and punches the h. So beware if that's not your type of book.

To sum this up: He’s a douche bag cheater.
Not a safe book for people who don’t like cheaters and OW and OM involved. And to be honest, I count what he did to her once as the start of rape.
I thought this had the potential of a great story - but that was lost on these authors. They tried to make it as badass and over the top as possible.
Wrecker is a douche bag who can’t keep his dick in his pants. His mind is on sex- even in to the last epilogue... he even states in one epilogue how he doesn’t cheat but he does have some random blow jobs. That’s still cheating in every chicks book. Come on!! He even thinks about the big boob waitress he had boob sex with and how he wouldn’t mind doing that again with her but how he had wished when he saw her again how he would love to have finally had sex with her. That’s in the last epilogue. He says he wishes he can say he’s never thought about other women but he’s a biker and no Prince Charming. He’s not redeemable in any means. Once- he and Harlee had a fist fight, after he killed some men, and then had sex in the carnage. What the hell is that disgustingness?

I got this book because there were so many 5 star reviews and everyone seemed to love it. I just can't figure out why, though. I love DM when she was involved in the Renegade series, so I thought I knew what to expect, but I was soooooo wrong. There is cheating and rape and he punches the woman he "loves". No thanks, not for me and I am thinking the Renegade series was a fluke because I don't see this author in my future again.

Regardless...I’m thinking the characters were pretty spot on for biker trash...different from the brotherhood by leaps and bounds. Then again, maybe not :/ I’d hate both H/h IRL so I’m glad they got together in Romancelandia and spared others around them. But they did breed and that’s a damn shame.

Well what do I say? If you’re expecting a nice, straight forward biker meets girl book then you’re about to be hugely disappointed. Dawn Martens and Glenna Maynard promised this would be a book that was as far from “safe” as could be and boy did they deliver on that promise.
Now while 99% of what happened I could see from both sides and I was, I wouldn’t say fine with but more like understanding of, there was 1 comment, yes just 1 comment that made me think of Wrecker/Carter as a tosser! LOL. I think that’s good going with so much going on that just one thing made me think he was an arse, so while this was a 4.5 star read for me, I’ll be rating with 5’s. Well done ladies, you two make quite the writing duo and I’m looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

This was a short quick read that I liked. Wrecker and Harlee have history she promised to kill him if she ever sees him again. When Wrecker is sent to bring Harlee home the sparks fly between these two. This was a good read this two get hot and heavy and it was hot. This book had a lot of sex and violence in it and I love reading about hot alpha males and the strong willed women who love them. This was my first time reading these authors this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

H Wrecker is a cheater and immature. Fmc Harlee is a badass. When she catches him cheating she’s outta there. 5 years later someone is after her because her Dads the Prez of the MCC. Wrecker aka Carter to the rescue. He’s a true manho, saying he loves Harlee so much and maki g plans to bang the hot waitress the same minute. They do get there hea with a 10 year later

So much in one book. I did want to drop kick Wrecker, he did redeam himself in the end. So much emotion felt as I was reading this book. I love it when in the first few pages the author can hook you. With a surprise. RC is one tough gal

June 4, 2020Normally I don’t mind cheating books as long as its clear Hero won’t do it again and grovels but in this book its mentioned in the epilogue Hero still gets blow jobs when on a run. Sorry to me that doesn’t seem like he's sorry or a changed man.

OK Dawn Martens and Glenna Maynard writing together. First I have to say I did not get mad at them which is very disappointing cause they are two of my favorite authors who I love to get mad about their writing with cliff hangers (not this one) and some of the story line. To me it was mild and I wasn't mad. Some plot twist that kinda shocked me but was great. The characters are awesome. Funny as hell. Wrecker kills me and Harlee is a blast. My kind of woman cause she doesn't take any crap from anyone. This book I didn't know where it would go because of the events that had happened so some of it was really interesting to see what they did with things. What Harlee does to her old "best friend" is awesome but I wish she did more to her (that's just how I roll). Can't wait for the next one and I really hope there is some of me wanting to throw my kindle moments or swearing as I am reading the book and hope it has a CLIFFHANGER cause these endings kill me. AWESOME JOB LADIES!!!!!

I'm gonna say leaning towards 4.5 Stars!!
The reason for the half star 🌟 is because I'm on the fence still on whether or not I even liked Carter (Wrecker) as a hero!! I mean he definitely have new meaning to the word manwhore for sure. I mean I know he had his reasons behind some of the stuff he did but NOT all of it. If he was a real life person I think I would of beat the carp out of him like Harlee did too.
I really liked Harlee she was a badass seriously. She gave as good as she got that's for sure.
Don't get me wrong the sex was hot 🔥AF, storyline very fast paced, this had some redeeming qualities, and everything I want in an MC read. I will be reading book two.

That was gross and I feel dirty. Not in a fun way. DNF at 55%.
I'm spoiler tagging, but all spoilers are to the point I finished, so they're probably not too major.
Harlee and Wrecker were together. Harlee's father is the prez of an MC called the Blue Devils. Wrecker came in as a prospect, but was also used as the club's "stud" to seduce women for various reasons -- at her father's behest. Because of her father's philandering, Harlee has a strict No Cheaters rule and has estranged herself from her father after her mother committed suicide when she found out he had other children. So when five years ago she discovered that Wrecker had been cheating on her (I don't care it was on behalf of the club, it was still doing OWs while in a relationship with a woman who thought they were monogamous) she had sex with the husband of the woman she'd caught Wrecker with -- I'm totally behind this decision btw, screw pining celibately for a cheating cheater who cheats -- left him, left town, and left everyone behind.
Cool, I'm behind this story so far.
Five years later, Harlee realizes that she is being stalked, and assumes it's someone with a grudge against her father, so she calls him. Any romance reader knows who Daddy Dearest is going to send to protect the club princess. Wrecker has wanted her back for years (allegedly) but due to her leaving town, her father (who it needs to be said had told him to have sex with randos -- make it make sense!) kept him as a prospect for an additional three years. The mission to get her to safety is what will get Wrecker patched in. He hasn't known where she was, but he wants her back, even though he knows that he will have to continue sleeping with OWs for the club... and plans to take his infidelities out of town so they won't hurt her.
So yeah... Wrecker was AWFUL . Like not even love-to-hate-him awful, just hate-him-hate-him awful. Badly written awful.
Aaaaand with that I was done. No one calls Wrecker out when he has sex with others, but at one point a character tells Harlee it's fine because she hasn't taken him back yet -- lady, she might not have taken him back emotionally at that point, but they'd just had sex that morning. By the afternoon, he's balls-deep in some club chick. I'd argue that maybe they weren't in a relationship, but he can't go four hours without sex?! Don't get me wrong, I'm focusing on Wrecker, but Harlee wasn't altogether likeable either. I liked her way more than I did him, because she seemed like she held herself to similar standards that she wanted him to abide by, but by the time I put this down I was really tired of her threatening to shoot him in the dick and just wanted her to do it already, so this could be over. This whole book was Toxic Relationship 102.
I probably could have kept hatereading (and hating myself while doing so) but the writing was just so, so bad. No one acts, or reacts like human beings. And I can forgive a lot with a decent grovel (and good writing) but you don't come back from

First book I read from this author. One of the worst book I ever read. Male character is an selfish cheater and yeah an idiot doormat female character. If the relationship was open, like the girl can cheat too that's was okay for me, but no Wrecker is an asshole and possessive who can cheat but his girl don't. The ending is not better, he said is faithful but get blowjob. Fuck if I will never ever read this book again. Unhealthy relationship and abusive is not entertaining even if it's a fiction.

Holy mother of pearl, this was an intense, rip roaring ride! I can honestly say that this was different from any other MC book I’d previously read. It was extreme, crazy, and wild, all in a good way. I loved that Harlee wasn’t a doormat and gave as good as she got. To say that her and Carter’s relationship was dysfunctional and, well, completely insane, is no exaggeration. This book was pure entertainment and kept me engrossed from beginning to end.

If you enjoy high testosterone, macho in your face, all kinds of Alpha-A$$hole that will invade your space, and when push comes to shove, he will shove regardless of consequence, then by all means read this bad boy!! Otherwise move the hell on, as it will not be a book for you and your sensitive sensibilities.
Wrecker is grade A prime quality bad boy who has worked his ass off to be patched in as a member of The Blue Devils MC, going as far as destroying his relationship with Harlee who happens to be the daughter of Demon the president of The Blue Devils MC, and one incredible bad ass female. I loved her character as much as Wrecker’s.
Here’s a few of my Favorite Quotes in this book and there are many, well because it’s just that damn good!!
Harlee: Choking on his sausage, pity it wasn’t his cock he was choking on after I cut it off!

You like your female main gal a no holds bar bad ass well you found her in Harlee. I have such a huge girl crush on Harlee. I wish I had the balls and the confidence she has.
Harlee is the daughter of Wreckers/Carter’s Pres. They had an intense relationship but shit happen and Harlee stood her ground and walked away. 5 years later who is sent when trouble comes knocking....Wrecker.
The authors put you through it with these two. They take strong bad ass biker princess to a whole other level with Harlee. Seriously I love her and I am scared of her all at the same time. Her internal talk cracked me up. Her sharp tongue will scar someone. I just need a little Harlee on my shoulder giving me a little boost on attitude.
Now for Wrecker. That man has a mouth on him...oh and apparently a tongue. I love some dirty talk and he did not disappoint. Good grief only a few chapters on and I almost slid off my seat.
If you want strong characters, dirty deprived sex and a killer story you found it.
