Touching and emotional conclusion to the Divine Fate series, calling for courage and devotion and showing that you should never give up on the good in this world.
Ryn found and has awakened Grace, and that should have been it. But something feels off. She is not what Ryn expected, and the bad feeling in her gut tells her there is more danger than before. Stumbling upon the portal, Ryn is forced to face the truth - that after all, she will be the chosen one to save the world, if only she would be able to find the solution and unite the warring sides...
Very emotional story with a touch of sweet romance, intense teenage world when every small problem could be blown into a big bubble, and fascinating magical world of the winged creatures. It reflects also the problems of our current society, and the enmity between races. It´s a delicate theme to process, but the story shows that where there is will and good intentions from all parties, peace can be restored after every conflict, and love and friendship will win. I enjoyed especially the epilogue that closed a very important part of the book, and shown the wisdom of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Admitting mistakes is sometimes hard, and it needs lots of courage, but it´s an act to be admired. Watching the characters grow into their final shapes and gaining personalities was great, and I am glad I gave this whole series a chance.

This was a good ending to the trilogy. I was glad that both sides came together in the end. I was surprised by Grace. She ended up being nothing like I expected. Thankfully she came to senses in the end. I was also happy that everyone was happy in the end.

In this third installment Ryn finally awakes Grace however she is not what the myths made her out to be. Will Ryn be able to work with Grace to save her world? I love the twists and turns in this book. Ryn grows so much in this series from a kind of shy girl who is new in town to becoming someone strong who can save the world and making many friends and even falling in love. I fell in love with these characters but sadly there are no more stories to read about them. I really enjoyed how the story wrapped up and we were able to see how the characters we had learned about were going to enjoy their future. I look forward to reading more from this author!

Ryn finally awakened Grace, but Grace isn't what she seems. Ryn expected Grace to come back and save the Davina, and even though Grace wants to do something like that, Ryn isn't sure if she is going about it in the right way. Something just seems too off about her, whether its the fact that she is a little more prone to violence than Grace was in the stories, or that some of the things she says don't add up.

As this series comes to an end, I have to think back on the previous novels and see what has changed. Most things changed for the better, but some things got worse as the series went on.

For starters, I always mentioned Ryn's relationship with her mother in all of my previous reviews. I always thought that Ryn acted like a brat towards her a lot and that her mother was just trying to keep her safe most of the time. Ryn finally has a bit of a breakthrough near the start of this novel and realizes what her mother was trying to do for her, and this really made me think that Ryn herself had FINALLY matured! This wasn't even a major piece of the story, but it was huge for me.

One thing that I really thought deteriorated throughout the books was Ryn's relationship with Marek. They started the series kinda liking each other, and I was looking forward to a whirlwind magical teen romance for the rest of the books. Instead, it fell a bit flat, and I couldn't even see the fact that they were really a couple anymore by one point in the trilogy. Marek wasn't even given that many lines in the majority of the novel. He just seemed to be there as the obligatory romantic interest, even though they had no chemistry. At least in book two, he trained her, in this novel he just seemed like a sidekick. As a lover of YA, I definitely did not need for them to be a couple.

The series did end on a good note. I was expecting the ending to be more anticlimactic than it was, so I was pretty satisfied with it. The fight scene was even really exciting, one of the most action-packed that I had seen in the entire series. There were one or two plot things that may not have been completely tied up at the end of the story, but most things were finished nicely. This book also seemed to move faster than the other ones in the series.

Overall, this wasn't a bad YA fantasy trilogy! The world was definitely unique, and even though I didn't like certain things in certain books, my overall experience was pleasant. I would still recommend this entire series to anyone who was looking for a new YA fantasy novel.

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.

This is the third book I’ve read/listened to by this author. I’ve listened to the other two books in this trilogy. Now I’d like to try something else by her.

Ryn wants to be a Davina, but does not believe it is necessary to kill the Demons, or continue to fight with them. Grace is compelling, she seems to be their answer, but she’s hiding the truth. The adults are blinded by history and the prejudices that come with it. Instead, we see Ryn and her friends becoming more confident, stronger and more assertive. It’s up to the kids to make everyone see there is hope for their races and a better way to survive in this world. It won’t be easy.

This is the third book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Natalie Naudus ) and I would listen to another. Aside from the adult, she does teen voices well- both male and female. Her narration style is good and she brings out the action in the story.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing. They are a good listen for teen and older. Uncomplicated and entertaining.

Following their devastating confrontation, the Davina and Ades withdraw to lick their wounds. Ryn is guilt ridden over her part in Trenton’s death. Ryn’s renewed efforts to find Grace pay off when they finally locate and awaken her.

Despite the prophecy suggesting otherwise, Ryn has reservations about Grace’s strange behaviour and suspects she has a hidden agenda. When her fears are confirmed however, her fellow Davina are too enamoured by Grace to listen. A surprise confrontation leads to an eye opening realisation. Can Ryn unite both the Davina and Ades and stop Grace in time?

Awakened by Grace is the third and final instalment of the Divine trilogy. Ryn really came into her own despite the odds against her. It was a clever twist on the authors part with the way she resolved the conflict. The epilogue in particular was moving.

Natalie Naudous has once again delivered a dynamic well paced performance. Her style of narration throughout this trilogy has been exceptional, making it easy for listeners to distinguish between each character, particularly the male voices.

I received an advanced free audible copy of Touched By Grace and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I had my fingers crossed that hopefully Touched by Grace was just a fluke in this series, but after Grace is awakened, things just seem to get worse.

Our only conflict is the whims of a goddess, who can't decide if life is worth it or not. Furthermore, the conflict results of action she doesn't take instead of actions she does take. She couldn't be called the final boss or main antagonist because she hardly does anything. Her whole character is just this neglectful parent! (I admittedly think the Davina council can be justified as "more evil" than her, because they do some questionable things)

I found myself becoming uninterested in the twists that happened in this final installment, because Awakened by Grace continued on the trend of "tell, don't show". It was like reading a description of all that happened in a movie. While it would be completely EPIC to watch, it wasn't written in an epic way.

I still do think that this whole series had great ideas, but it just didn't capitalize on its potential, and I'm so disappointed by that.

It's your destiny to awaken Grace... You awaken Grace... Mission accomplished right?... Wrong!

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Ryn in this book, here she is, doing what she's supposed to do and things are not going right, in fact things keep getting worse. I love the story though, lots of exciting stuff happening with a helping of good old teen-aged angst. I loved the ending, which I won't give away, except to say that it was not what I was expecting.

Grace herself was a massive disappointment, after all the buildup in the first two books I was expecting a hero, and all I got was a person with more power than normal. That will teach me to have unrealistic expectations.

The narration is well done, great character voices and a dynamic well paced delivery.

This was an epic finale! Ryn and the Davina have found Grace, but something’s off and all isn’t what it should be. Ryn feels like she’s useless since she’s fulfilled her job and no one will listen to her doubts and suspicions about Grace. The adults all believe that Grace is the answer because of the prophecy and their prejudices, but it’s up to Ryn and the younger generation to show them another way of life with coexistence and hope for a better world. I loved watching Ryn grow and become who she was supposed to be throughout this series and all of the internal and external battles that she had to face.
Natalie did another great job with this narration! I love how she brings the characters and story to life with her performance and grabs your attention from the start.

Great Conclusion! This is the third book in this trilogy. I love the conclusion of this amazing and entertaining Series. This last book is well written, as the first books in the Series. This story is entertaining and fast-paced. I love the characters, the scenery and the story. I also love how Ryn grew up and how strong she became. Ryn and Marek are great together. The Epilogue is beautiful and hopeful. The narration was really great and easy to listen to, as always with Natalie Naudus. She has a soft and beautiful voice and her male voice is really great. She does an excellent narration with all voices and it's really easy to distinguish them. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

* I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own *

This is the story of Ryn Tyler whose journey has been long had hard and sacrifices have had to be made, but now she has found Grace and awakened her.
Awakening Grace, Ryn thought that would be the final part of fulfilling her destiny, but it seems that Eagle Valley may be in more danger than she thought and now with Grace awakened something is not quite right. She was supposed to be their saviour, but it seems she has secrets and Ryn is going to find out what they are.
This was a great end to this Trilogy Series and look forward to see what is next in line by Alicia Rades

The ending was far better than I imagined.
Ryn follows her instincts in this book and shows the davinas that Grace is not presenting her true plan. Not only that she is willing to do what is necessary to save her friends and life as we know it.
The scenes between all the main characters before the final showdown was so touching.
All I can say is that the ending could not have been better and when you place all three books together, is a complete wonderful read (not only for ya readers).

I'm so glad I got my hands on the series as a whole and listened to it on audible. The narrator was okay....not my favorite but she got the job done.

A fabulous, T&YA paranormal & urban fantasy. After Ryn Tyler awakens Grace, she realizes that all is not right. She wants to fix it, but she neither knows how nor what. Grace and the Divina Counsel block her at every chance.

Alicia Rades wrote an inspiring story with this trilogy. The characters show exceptional growth. All the while demonstrating high school levels of knowledge and maturity.

Action-packed. Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Great world building. Happily Ever After. Haunting. Romantic. Scary. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

My review is based on the audiobook.
Awakened By Grace is the third and final book in the Divined Fate Trilogy and it did not disappoint. Ryn's journey concludes with her taking charge and making some not so easy decisions. Watching Ryn grow through out the series I didn't always like her but after this book I love who she has become. I am sad to see the series end but the author wrapped up the series perfectly. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life. I look forward to more from this author.

This was a good ending to the trilogy, and I'm fine with how it ended. I do think it wrapped up a little too quickly and easily which is part of the reason behind my rating. The other reason is the writing. It was a bit simplistic and repetitive at times. There was almost no character development, except for probably Casey and Malcom, and the ending just seemed too perfect for there having been a centuries-long rivalry between the Davina and Aedes. Other than that, it's simply a fun, easy, and quick trilogy with each book being a solid 3-stars.

Ryn is able to wake Grace but she isn't what she expected. Grace is hiding something and it could mean the end as they know it. There is a way to stop the portal but the way is not what they think. But will they figure it out in time before the portal destroys Malum and Earth? Grace isn't any help and is ready for the end and has accepted it as their fate but Ryn isn't ready to lose everyone in her life quite yet.

Awakened by Grace: Divine Fate Trilogy (Davina Universe Book 3), my third read from author Alicia Rades. The story continues seamlessly from Touched by Grace: Book 2. Coupled with a somewhat unique plot the book becomes a page turner that you can't wait to complete. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Even better than expected!

I'm not at all surprised that Alicia knocked this series out of this world! I'm truly pleased with how much I love this series! The twist and turns alone made this series finale worth every penny spent and every moment waiting for the epic conclusion of a dynamic book!

I really liked the final chapters in this trilogy. It frustrated me that the main character was the only person to see something was off. Especially when her boyfriend later says he appreciated her unique perspective all along. 🙄 Ultimately, I was happy with the way it ended with everyone working towards the good of all.

I loved the spunky characters. One in particular had to harness the strength of so many to figure out what was right. I read her fear in her every move once she realized what she needed to do, and yet she kept going. Beautifully written journey...

An amazing and epic conclusion to the Divine Fate series. It was emotional, had epic battles, amazing plot twists, and an ending that could easily lead into a spin off series. I really enjoyed this series and it's now one of my favorite reads of 2018!

This was a good ending to the trilogy. Grace felt so shady at the beginning and then she basically gave up so easily that made me dislike her character but the rest of the crew was so awesome specially when Ryn discovered that aedes and Davina are supposed to work together.

What a great ending. I loved the solution of the problem. Some of the ending is a bit unbelievable but I loved the premise behind it. I wish the prologue showed more of their future but it was nice to see the possibilities.
