I recommend this book to anyone serious about learning iOS Development. If you are an advanced iOS Developer the book itself will not give you that much of new information but you will definitely learn a lot from the detailed steps of writing an app. Matthijs’s way of building the apps in the tutorials was to start simple and build on that not just writing a block of nice implemented code and use it as is. This helped me a lot of the way I think before implementing a feature in my apps. The book also is fun and easy to read and have many tips and fun facts about iOS, Swift, and Programming in general. It’s probably the best tutorial book I've ever read.
Very useful guidebook. Matched my level (complete novice). Written clearly with neat sample projects, specifically, the tableview and work with data in the Tasks app. While I am still very much a beginner, this book helped me get started with UIKit and familiar with Xcode and Swift. Now using RW SwiftUI tutorials.
This book is pretty good for learning all things iOS, even if you know nothing about programming (though if you do know a thing or two about programming, this particular book might have some bits that you will desperately want to skip). This, along with the tutorials from www.raywenderlich.com are what have truly helped me learn iOS stuff. So far, excellent.
Average. This book doesn't go far in-depth into iOS development. The author has a good sense of humor but most of the resources were outdated and although it had good content It was a waste of time for me
