"You are four years old, and I don't know how you got so big. But all I know is that I want to learn how to number my days before you get much bigger...Because one thing matters, and a million things don't." This heartfelt memoir traces the faithfulness of God through a very ordinary journey. It is a record of scattered thoughts and moments of realization through the days of young motherhood - a season in which perspective makes all the difference.
This collection of thoughts/life moments shows that no matter what it is we're doing, we can always see the Father and what He has done/is doing in our lives. 10/10, highly recommend.

Enjoyed this journey into the first phase of Jana’s life and her quick wit and trust in God was evident throughout this entire book. Jana is an excellent writer and transparent and genuine in person. She is a delightful person who I have enjoyed getting to know better through her writings both on her blog and her books. She can weave a story about her everyday experiences and struggles and bring out a Biblical perspective in each and every one of them. She obviously had amazing parents who instilled in her great values, work ethic, and a faith in God that will never fail.
Get her book today for an inspirational look at life and you might find yourself looking at your own story from a different perspective.
Down-to-earth and real, humorous and serious, laugh-out-loud and cry. These are some of the words I use to describe Jana Shugart's book. She uses a journal approach to share with her readers her family her thoughts and spiritual insights. It is wonderful!
