A must read for any Sikh or punjabi or someone interested in the events leading upto partition of India in 1947. Sirdar Kapur singh was part of ICS in 1947 and had first hand knowledge of the deals, discussions, fights, differences which lead to the tragic event of partition. He delves deeply into the question of, what led to the concern for minority rights, what was the attitude of congress to minorities and how that eventually led to the disaster of Partition
