Tom is twelve (almost thirteen) and determined to make his dad and his caretaker see that they're made for each other.

Tom was totally adorbs and despite his limitations due to cerebral palsy, he lived a full life and was very mature for his age. Actually, he seemed more mature than his father (Simon) sometimes and stole every scene he was in. I really liked Josh, he was such a sweet, caring guy. I liked Simon, but truly, there were times in which I wanted to slap some sense into him. I loved the chemistry between Simon and Josh, though, they were really great together.

This was such a lovely short story! Sweet and cute and hot, fast-paced and well-written, just perfect to curl up with a cup of hot chocolate. Very recommendable!

A charming story in which twelve-year-old (nearly thirteen), Tom, plays matchmaker for his father, Simon, and his carer, Josh. Tom is wheelchair bound. His body might not cooperate, but his mind is sharp as a tack. Two years ago, Josh came to live with Tom and his father to take care of them. Tom sees the love blossoming between the two older men even earlier than the men themselves.
It is charming and funny. I love that Josh and Simon don’t treat Tom as a boy with a disability. School trips are not a problem but are welcomed.
Although the story is about Josh and Simon and their connection is palpable, for me the real main character was Tom. Wonderfully portrayed as a realistic twelve-year-old.
This story is part of the anthology Right Here, Right Now.

I love Manny stories and while this one is a little different, its also really not. Besides the usual duties Josh is also an aide to Simon's handicapped 12 year old son. The dynamic works well until feelings get involved and that leaves young Tom to act as matchmaker. A vert nice, sweet read.

I love Tom and his matchmaking skills. Another great story and funny but loving characters. The image I have of Josh and Simon “oh my!” It’s getting rather warm in here.
