Tucker Williams always dreamed of being a big city lawyer and he’s made that dream a reality in Atlanta. When he’s called back to his hometown of Saddle Creek, TN, after his father suffers a mild stroke, the self-proclaimed workaholic only plans to stay as long as his momma needs him. But a chance encounter with his former high-school sweetheart shakes up his carefully laid plans.
Small town, comfortable life…
Family has always been important to Hadley James, and she’s never regretted staying in Saddle Creek after graduation, even though it broke her heart to say goodbye to Tucker. Having her family—especially her three sisters—around has helped her turn her soap-making business downtown into a huge success. She hasn’t had time for romance, focusing solely on her family and her store, yet when Tucker arrives back in town, he stirs up old feelings Hadley thought were long dead.
Home is where the heart is…
A trip down memory lane has Tucker rethinking his past choices and wondering if there’s more to life than case files and bachelorhood. When Hadley admits she’s kept her heart closed off all these years because Tucker is the only man she’s ever loved, Tucker must decide if his future is in the big city or if he’s coming home to Hadley’s sweet embrace.

This is a story about a romance that once was, an end to that same connection with a somewhat mutual parting (at least logically), and the realization that it should never have been disbanded in the first place. Why? The feelings, the sizzle, the undeniable sparks, flirty banter, and looks of longing that are exchanged at a rapid place the moment these two are once again in the same vicinity. Is it something that could last? Emotionally, that's a given...after all, it's still there after all these years, but geographically it presents a challenge....that is unless one party or the other is willing to give a little to gain A LOT.
I've enjoyed this author's work in the past and this time around is more of the same. The characters are likable, the situations relatable, and the heart's desires unable to be ignored without burning themselves out. If you're a Contemporary Romance fan who likes the steam without stepping into the flames, you should definitely check out this story, as well as the author's other works.
Going All In by Amy Manemann is a sweet small town romance with some very sexy scenes that will have you wishing you were one of the characters.
Tucker and Hadley are high school sweethearts who parted ways when it came to college. Tucker couldn’t wait to leave and start his career as a lawyer and Hadley has no intentions of leaving Saddle Creek.
Fast forward ten years and Tucker is back to help out his family and realizes how much he misses Hadley. As Tucker and Hadley make up for lost time and remember what it is like to be together, the chemistry that was once between the two heats up again.
Manemann writes a solid story with lovable characters that just makes you feel good and smile. Tucker’s brothers and Hadley’s sisters are a fun addition to Going All In. They provide the family dynamics that always provide additional entertainment to stories like these. Throw in a few fun grandmas and you will find yourself smiling when you turn that last page.
Amy Manemann has managed to give her readers a fresh book on a high school torn apart by life. Tucker & Hadley wanted different things out of life. Tucker wanted out of the small town to a big city to make his mark on the world. Hadley wanted nothing more than to settle down in her hometown with a shop selling her soaps & lotions. Since they couldn't see a compromise, they agreed to go their separate ways. Now Tucker is back in town after his father had a stroke. The chemistry is still there between them but they still wanted different things. Could they find a compromise now?
This book has a great small town feel & Ms. Manemann manages to convey that atmosphere perfectly. The Nanny Squad was hilarious & reminds me of the ladies in my small town. The extended family & their contributions to the story add to a more intimate feel. This is a friendly, sweet story with some steamy scenes that make you wish this was your hometown. I hope this is the start to an extended series!
Going All In, book 1 of The Saddle Creek Sisters series has me hooked and wanting more. I love the small town feel of this series. Hadley and Tucker aren't 18 anymore and trying to find themselves. It's now 10 years later but Tucker is only home for a short while due to his father's medical emergency. Tucker is now a big city lawyer and Hadley is happy with her small town life but they have chemistry and history. Can they make this into something more?
Oh my gosh the characters in this book are so fun and I love them all. Nanny Faye and her friends are so much fun. They had me laughing so much and wanting to be like them when I'm older. Hadley's sisters are great too! I can't wait to read their stories. Oh and how can I forget Tucker's brothers and their best friend Banger? They are written so well they all make you believe you are really there with them and enjoying all the crazy antics.
"Just like that , she was transported to another time and place when the sound of his voice was enough to make her knees tremble."
Tucker and Hadley, 2 lovers that followed their own paths away from each other. Life events brings them back to one another but will their newly rekindled love be strong enough to keep them together. Tucker struggles between all he worked for to built his career , the woman he loves and his family. It's tearing him apart. Hadley loves him so much that she is willing to let him go to chase his dreams a second time........will her heart survive ?
Amy is a passionate author that writes beautifully! She transports us in her world and as I read I could actually imagine myself being in Saddle Creek and hear the southern accent ; I loved it !
I am sharing this review in exchange for a copy of the book but, I love Amy’s writing style because it flows so naturally. This story – the first in a new series by Amy – hooked me from the first page. The chemistry between Tucker and Hadley (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that name by the way) is evident from the very start and I loved that these two seemed to be able to rekindle their romance so effortlessly. Who doesn’t love the idea of re-capturing the love of an old relationship? Tucker is strong yet sweet, a whole lot of gentleman yet masculine and charming. I loved how he interacted with his brothers – honestly, humbly and with heart. Hadley and her sisters are the epitome of down-to-earth Southern girls who love and support each other and their community. I can’t wait to see what is in store for them! Keep ‘em coming Amy! I can’t wait for the next book!
This book was great. I loved the small town feel and the families and how everyone was there and took care of each other. I enjoyed the sisters and how they always had each others backs. The Nanny Squad had me in stitches, I think we all knew people like that especially if you grew up in a small town. This is the first book I've read from this author but it definitely won't be the last. I'm hoping there will be future books for Hadley's sisters and also Tucker's brothers and the crazy supporting cast. I can't wait to see what happens with Tucker and especially how his Dad is going. This book has you right there in the thick of things and you can't wait to see how things turn out or what shenanigans happen next.
Amy Manemman has done an outstanding job writing about a sweet small town in Going All In. I enjoyed watching Tucker and Haldey reconnect after breaking up ten years earlier. A medical emergency returns Tucker to Saddle Creek where he immediately, upon his return, runs into Hadley. Of course, we see the couple struggle as they deal with Tucker’s career. This was a quick read that I read in one sitting. I recommend Going All In and hope that Ms. Manemann finds a way to bring us back to Saddle Creek.
Going All In is a sweet read. The small town setting was quaint and I enjoyed the concept of Hadley and her sisters' businesses. Tucker comes home from Atlanta to help his family and reconnects with his high school sweetheart, Hadley. Is it just a weekend or is there something more? No spoilers here and you will enjoy the journey the characters take to find out. Amy Manemann's writing is clean and crisp and moves the story along. Really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to reading about the rest of the sisters.
