This is an introductory book about how to calculate bazi for beginners. I find the mathematics and formulas used in it interesting. Whether the result is true or not, that's up for each reader to discern. However, it gives you a glimpse of how all the calculations are done - especially if you have been tinkering with all the free natal chart apps out there just for fun.

All in all, unless you are a full-time practitioner, I don't think I can spend that much time calculating anyone's bazi with the instructions given in the book. Also, this process might or might not be replaced with [your choice] apps out there.

I found my personal four pillar not matching the computer generated one, according to the author's method of calculation.
This is a good book; very challenging and I am meticulous in doing mathematics.
It doesn't require a whole lot of thinking to get it, but if there is something amiss, there is no one to turn to, so I have gone to a website to a different author to compare ideas.
