‘Never Going Back’ is a story about a woman named Briana who is desperately in love with her boyfriend, Bryan, but unfortunately, they don’t get a ‘happily ever after’. Instead, Briana’s world is shattered when she finds out that Bryan has been harboring some secrets – secrets so painful that they could utterly destroy their relationship.

On top of Bryan’s secrets, Briana is dealing with the pain of Bryan’s constant physical abuse and need to control every aspect of her life. She is slowly reaching a boiling point, and it seems that one day, Bryan may push one too many buttons…

This was a good story. The reader could definitely get into the mind and emotions of Briana. The author paints the picture so vividly that the reader feels like she is in Briana’s shoes.

My only suggestions for improvement would be to get it edited more thoroughly because there were errors throughout the book, and to make it longer because it was only 91 pages. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Mindblowing!

Unbelievable is all I can say! Mercedes really started messing up which led to such a hard downfall for her. Life was as falling apart for Brianna and Imani as well. When tragedy falls upon Imani's door Brianna and Malik are there for Imani well..Malik is there. Brianna is busy lying about Bryan. As BRi tried to justify her actions Bryan's other woman Samara is a true nut job and she will get the last laugh. Malik is learning the truth about his wife and it isn't pretty. Will Malik be able to forgive Bri? This love story is dangerous and Bryan is playing for keeps. Who will survive the rage that will hurt a lot of people in the progress! So shocking but I loved it!

Interesting read

Never Going Back by Nia Rich is a phenomenal read. It’s well written and the storyline is on point. This is my first time reading from this author. Nia did a good job.

Never Going Back is physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually and mentally abused. Some of women are dealing with this issues and not strong enough to leave. My heart goes to Bri.

I can’t wait to part 2 of this book. I’ll definitely continue to support and read more books from this author.

Although this book was good I have to say that Briana & Bryan's relationship was very toxic. I'm not going to say that Briana was blind, but when those twins told her about their daddy kissing another woman and them going with him to pick her up... that is when I would have been packing my shit. I would not have been with the back and forward. All that I love you, and miss you and I'm sorrys would not have worked. Book 2 will follow eventually just not right now.

I really enjoyed the book! It presented real life issues of relationships such as trust, domestic violence and the mistake of women giving men who are not worthy chance after chance after chance. I loved the fact that Briana found love and had a family of her own; something she was never able to get from Bryan, her fiance of six whole years. Now curious to see what Never Going Back 2 entails. Great read!!

👍👍

U enjoyed this 1st book of this series. Bryan really thought he could continue to get away with being with Jade & Brianna. I'm surprised he pulled it off for as long as he did though. Mercedes was a good chic though, lol! She was hilarious! She didn't play! I didn't like Brianna had to end her relationship with the twins though, I know that had to break their hearts because they genuinely loved her. All because their father was an asshole. Ready to see what happens next!

A well written story that has some real life issues. Abuse, lies, and deceit at it's best. A story that will have you in your feelings. So many women are dealing with these issues and aren't strong enough to leave, or don't have the support system. The author is handling this subject with style and grace. Can't wait for more.

Love really is blind

Briana is the weakest, most forgiving women ever. I never thought she'll leave out Bryan to be honest. I felt like she had no wit's end as a woman with values. Half way through the book I was already tired because of the mere fact that her tolerance was too much.

This book was pretty good but I feel like things just didn’t seem realistic at all like how you work at a mall but can buy house like really how? The reason why Bry doesn’t like Mercedes wasn’t dramatic enough for me. And really who just answers a unknown callers questions. All in all this book was missing the dramatics for me but it was entertaining.

Preying on the Lonley

This book was a great example of how men sit back and watch to see who they can prey on at their weakest moment. They show you one way and know they are another and It comes out when you say no. That's why y out can't be so quick to jump into relationships. Great book . Makes you think things over.

never going back

I’m glad Briana let go of Bryan because Bryan is abusive a liar and a cheater. I feel bad for the twins. I just hope they grow up to be beautiful brave young women without an abusive man in their lives watching their father. I am rooting for Briana and Malik. Read this book. On to Pt 2.

So far I like this book.

The characters, plots, and their issues have this storyline rolling along. I could not believe that I was finished so quickly -- that's how engrossed I was into this book. Okay, now on to part two of this intriguing story.

This series is my Binge read for the weekend. Part 1 was awesome! Can’t wait to see what shenanigans Mercedes gets into next! Briana better recognize the goodness she has with Malik before she loses him! We will see if Tyson finally gets it together for Imani and the boys.

Excellent Read

This book was an enjoyable read with such a believable and often familiar storyline. I love how the author strategically positioned everything throughout the book so that it was not determined until the end how things would resolve. I’m now a forever fan🙂
