Brotherhood

Wow reading author's notes I realize that a 65 yr old grandmother who rides an 86 fxrs HD has so much in common with sci-fi people. I have over 50 books of dragonlance series and read and reread them over many years. Cried and laughed with the characters while sitting in my parlor on the couch. I am eternally grateful for having picked up Michael's book and starting this journey again. Ty all so much .

They did it again!

Lee, Chris, and Michael seem to have hit on an unbeatable recipe for a damned good yarn and, with every book I finish from this series, it just seems to get better.

With Aysa now a part of their crew, the intrepid bunch are travelling to release Aysa's people from captivity and slavery and, with her usual inimitable style, Hannah is determined to live up to that promise.

While they travel, Ezekiel is making Hannah and Laurel practice weather magic - not without some problems - both for the practice itself, and to disguise their approach to the mines where Aysa's people have ended up.

But, with their usual planning out of the window, and Hannah breaking all the rules, yet again - and after a lot of fighting and mayhem - the group are able to continue on their way, to help save Lilith, the Oracle who had taught Ezekiel all that he knew.

As they reach New Romanov, at last, Ezekiel, Hannah, and their crew find themselves fighting almost the moment they reach the town. Not only for their own lives, but for those of the people of New Romanov.

They find that a rift has been opened by a dark enemy of Lilith's, and the deadly Skrima are being sent through, to kill Lilith, and help subdue the people of Irth.

With one battle after another, and many enemies of mankind seemingly joining together to topple the town, Ezekiel, Hannah, Parker, Laurel, Gregory, Hadley, Aysa, and Karl, join Olaf, Mika, and the survivors of New Romanov, in a series of battles that will not only determine whether they'll be able to save Lilith, but also mankind, and the Irth, itself.

I'm really loving the way that Lee, Chris, and Michael use humour to leven the horror of battle and loss. I guess it's a very human thing that we do, so that the horrors can't overwhelm, but it's very effective for me, and I just keep on coming back for more.

I'm getting to the point where I can see the ending of the whole, amazing, journey, both through time, and space, with the KU, and I'm just glad that I've got many, many more of the various authors' other works to look forwards to but, until then, I'm determined to enjoy each book that I have left to read.

On that note, the next book in my reading list, means that I return to the New Dawn series, to read book three: Dawn of Deliverance.

I've been left with just two books to read in this series, but am going back to the New Dawn series - the people who organised this list, have a cruel and unusual streak, as they seem to love sending me all over the place, frustrating me, just as I get to the endings of each series! Lol

Ah, the action scenes

I’ve enjoyed this series a ton so far. It stands on its own, and the set of characters are fantastic. Next to the banter between BA and her Bitches (read the Kurtherian gambit series if you don’t know what I mean) this is my favorite set of characters. There’s such fun in a story where people with different talents stand with each other and learn to complement each other perfectly. So I adore the action scenes and the snark with them. Plus there *is* actually a moment when the light probably does shine through an enemy’s backend....

The Kurtherian Gambjt rides on!!

Another great read starring Hannah, the Arcadian equal to Michael Anderle's Bethany Anne! Great characters that blend into the Universe flawlessly, tying together the prices that everyone (well, me, anyway) want to see joined together. It's amazing to watch these authors do this piecing of the various worlds so well. Keep up the great job, boys. Looking forward to more.

Another winner

The kutherian world is growing so fast it's incredible and I started reading when death becomes her was first out, however, one thing continues to impress me and that's the caliber of the books released and I can honestly say that this book continues the trend. Enjoy, I know that I did and will continue to do so.

Books of the Kurthurian Gambit.

I love these books! I've just started reading them within the last month and I've read several of the series but every time I start a new one I feel like I'm not reading them in sequence. Is there any way that a list could be made of start to finish of the series? Did I mention how much I love these books?

OMG another great read

BBB’s are in it up to there necks. A rift has been opened for a while and things are coming through. Not good things but things that kill and destroy. More evil is coming and I can’t wait to see what happens!!

Onwards and upwards!

It never ceases to amaze me how well multiple authors are working together to provide a cohesive story. It is smooth, flowing, and moving along well. It's a great series within an amazing universe, and each book shines.

At some point this should end

This is getting as frustrating as "The Wheel of Time." It only took 400 pages to figure out the cannons could kill the bad guys. Wow. I fear this will go on forever but I will not.
