Rate this book
Three sisters.
Three sexy, swoon-worthy men.
Three unforgettable stories.

Book One — Purple Orchids

Friends. Lovers. Enemies.
Sometimes the lines between them are blurred.

He broke my heart back in college.
And now, years later, a chance meeting has him claiming he never dumped me.
Says I dumped him. Broke his heart. Ruined his life.

Someone is lying.
It's not me.
But the thing is - it's not him either.

I'm SO over him.
Okay, maybe not.
But he doesn't have to know that.
Because loving him again isn't worth the risk I'd have to take or the secret I'd be forced to reveal.
Or is it?

Book Two — White Lilies

Her best friend's husband.
A twist of fate.

They wanted her to have their baby.
She was never supposed to fall in love with him
... or was she?

A story about unconditional love, heartbreaking loss, and undying friendship.

Book Three — Black Roses

They've kept her from coming home.
Now she's risking everything to return.

She thought it would be a quick trip. Show up. Say the right words. Then she'd be gone.

She never counted on meeting him.
The football star.
The single dad.

He knew she was shattered by some event she kept hidden under lock and key.
The clues on her body failed to reveal her secrets - unlike scars on his body that clearly publicized his.

The clock was ticking, giving him only a short time to uncover the true meaning of the flower branded into her flesh.
Because if she got back on that plane, he knew it would be forever.

Despite the fact that she is a romance writer, Samantha Christy's favorite television show of all time is The Walking Dead.

And contrary to the fact that her heroines drink things like wine and Cosmos, she prefers Bud Light.

She also loves fan mail and answers all of it.

She went to college and all that, getting a degree in something she never uses. She's also got a gaggle of kids (4) and a pretty decent husband.

Absolutely amazing

Purple Orchids is my favorite, but love the others. Gut wrenching stories about betrayal and loss that will have you tearing up and crying along. You can't help but feel the emotions each character is going through. Absolutely amazing.

These books were outstanding. They pulled at your heartstrings...they made you laugh and cry and feel every emotion these characters felt. I found them to be very hard to put down and finished the books very quickly. I was sad to see them end.

Amazing series that sets up a bigger saga

I have to admit now that I kind of read this series after reading the entire saga. In some ways I think I may have spoiled it for myself, but in other ways I think it was actually nice knowing that despite everything these couples go through… I know where they end up and how their lives have turned out. (Particularly Texas Orchids, Texas Lilies and Texas Rose).

These Mitchell sisters… they are stubborn and strong willed… but also three of the most awesome ladies and you can see why their guys fall for them.

Every couple is fantastic in their own way. They each have their ow. individual struggles and I don’t know which one I liked the most because they are all so brilliant.

With every book you will go through every emotion. I’ve laughed, chuckled, smiled, sighed, eye-rolled and cried… cried ugly tears at some point in each book.

The guys… Gavin, Griffin and Mason are just adorably hot. They are just some of the most awesome men… and of course, sometimes they mess up, they are men after all… but the way they are so into their ladies that they will literally do anything to win the love’s of their lives back and make them happy.

Having read all the rest of the books that follow on from this series, I can see why these books set everything up so well.

Absolutely loved this series. Completely recommend it, and every single book that Christy writes. She pulls you in to the worlds and lives of every one of her characters and you feel like you are living everything with them. I feel like I know them and that these people are real. She really is that good at grabbing you and taking you a journey with her. Awesome stuff. I’m actually sad I’ve read all her books because I’d love more. Can’t wait for her next series.

Purple Orchids Review: In my opinion Purple Orchids is pretty predictable college love story, I was okay with that. I was pretty close to what would happen. In my opinion Purple Orchids is very slow moving and very repetitive that got a little annoying. Both Baylor and Gavin have insecurities that got to be to much. They never trusted each other that was really sad. When things went awry they were more than happy to believe the worst. I was entertained but things were too drawn out.

White Lilies Review: I liked White Lilies better than Purple Orchids. I found Erin very manipulative I understand why she did it, but that doesn't make it right. I'm not sure that Griffin and Skylar were a good match, but who am I? I appreciated Skylar's willing to know things were not working for her and wanting to make a change. I found Griffin a little judgment. White Lilies did bring tears to my eyes. I found it very slow moving and very drawn out.

I read this box set on Kindle Unlimited.

Black Roses Review: I had this figured out pretty early, I was okay with that. Black Roses brought me to tears a lot. The subject is sad. I found Piper strong, yet scared of everything. I liked how Piper and Charlie have each others back. I was little sad Piper didn't trust her sisters enough to tell them. I liked Mason's love for Hailey, he was so sweet. My biggest complaint is Samantha Christy drags things out. She keeps going over the same thing over and over. I found the epilogue the best part.

I was entertained but things were very drawn out and slow moving. Some of the stories brought tears to my eyes, but I had most of the stories figured out from the start. In my opinion the best part of the stories was the epilogues. I read this box set on Kindle Unlimited.

Purple Orchids - It has been a very long time since I have read a book that was heartbreaking as well as heart warming at the same time, but the love, loss and reuniting of Baylor and Gavin had me wiping tears from my cheeks and sighing with happiness with every chapter. Samantha Christy takes her readers on an emotional journey with so many different feelings that once the story is done they will never be the same. Love can grow in an instant and can be taken away just as fast. This book deserves more than 5 Stars!!

White Lilies - Faith, love and family - along with heartache, loss and undying love wrapped up in an emotional page turner that I could not put down. Skylar wanted to become less selfish and when she decides to become the surrogate for Griffin and Erin not only does she achieve her goal but she brings the three into a connection that was heartbreaking. I found myself grabbing the Kleenex as well as a glass of wine while I continued to read page after page. Samantha Christy puts her readers' hearts through a meat grinder and once again writes an epic love story.

Black Roses - Piper had to overcome numerous obstacles to find true love. Mason found love when he was not expecting it. The relationship between the two characters had many hurdles to jump over but in the end soulmates were united. This book had me locked in from the first page and I look forward to reading more in this series. Running away from your secrets and putting up walls to protect your heart only to watch everything crumble while at the same time finding a HEA.

Excellent!

I chose this rating because this was a really, really great set of books. I loved the way Gavin pursued Baylor. At first she was kinda shy. I love it when they got together. And became a couple. He was very romantic. The way that he was trying to get at her of course he figured he was doing it and you know she help them out. The thing that I really didn't like was the way his friend Karen messed up Baylor and Gavin relationship. She was a real b#t#h. It took them eight years to figure out what she did, because each one blame the other. And boy they really laid it on her too. Karen got exactly what she deserved. Come to find out Karen knew that Gavin had a child with Baylor she was trying to keep that from him as well. But it all turned out in the end. Black Orchids was great.
White Lilies: Skylar and Griffin this was a really great book also. Skylar did an awesome thing to be surrogate. To help a couple have a child. She ended up being a really great friend to Erin. She would have been the mother to the baby, but unfortunately the mother became sick. To sum it all up Griffin and Skylar went through a whole lot to help Erin out. She had a bucket list she wanted to get done. I don't want to give away to much, but this was a really great book.
Black Rose: Piper and Mason this was a great book also. Piper had a lot going on her story is really heart breaking. Mason is the one to help her, to come back to herself. He also has a story of his own that is heart wrenching. This book was a really, really great read. The Mitchell Sister all got great men that will always be by there side, and will always be there for them. Excellent Read! 📚🌞📚🌞📚

For Purple Orchids only

I have greatly enjoyed past books by this author, but not this one. Christy writes extremely well and draws interesting characters that I invest in, but my question concerning this one is, are people who love so deeply really too cowardly to confront each other when everything seems to go so wrong? Even at their young ages and after only a few months, I can't imagine giving up without trying to get the truth from each other directly, especially because of the strong personalities of the main lovers and with so much at stake. This story upset me profoundly because I personally just couldn't let go of that kind of love and heartfelt emotion without a fight, no matter how "convincing" the "evidence" seemed. So the plot was untenable for me. Yes, I know maybe I get a bit too wrapped up in romance novels, but this one was too frustrating and nonsensical to enjoy. And I read these for enjoyment. A reasonable amount of conflict is necessary to create an interesting read, yet the block to true love and happily ever after in Purple Orchids just didn't ring true for me.
I find myself unable and unwilling to read the final 2 books in the series, needing instead to release my pent up aggravation that woke me at 4 am by reviewing the work and moving on.

The Mitchell Sisters... Awesome Series!! (Possible Spoiler)

I actually read the Stone Brothers series first (which was also awesome) and it made me want to get to know the Mitchell sisters. Lo and behold...

(I actually think I should have read this series first in order to have a little background going into the Stone Brothers, but it's not really necessary. If you want something to read after this series, read that one!! Trust me!!)

Each of these sisters is featured in her own awesome story. (I've got to find another word besides awesome!). Baylor's story is Purple Orchids, Skylar's story is White Lilies and Piper's story is Black Roses. Each sister had to overcome something painful, sometimes it's something horrendously painful, in order to move forward toward the possibility of her happily ever after.

Each story has some truly heartbreaking moments. (Piper's story, Black Roses, features sexual assault and it may be a trigger for some.). Each story also featured some seriously strong women and some examples of equally strong friends and family, and awesome (there's that word again) men who would do anything to win the hearts of the women they love.

If you're like me, you'll laugh a little, you'll cry a little and you'll want to strangle a free characters...but you'll love this series.

Gives women a bad name

Book one, spoilers.

The h was just a pathetic doormat. The end you tried to force her to stand up and have a backbone but it was all a joke. If some one had a hand in getting my friend killed, I want them punished. She did nothing. If some one lied, hurt me, my child, I want them punished. I would tell the world so this person couldn't hurt others. She does nothing.

Oh wait, she did, she allows the women to stay in the house she loves but won't let her keep her ex husbands last name. Wow, that was revenge right, you sure told her. See, a joke.

The H was at fault, he never showed, he never called her, he left her waiting for him. He jumped to conclusions and asked the h, he just leaves her.

I would never trust him. The first chance he got, he lied and keeps secrets. He didn't make his wife pay for the things she did.

This is just like a when a women gets raped, she doesn't tell, she keeps quite and the guy can go and rape someone else.

This women violated them and nothing, she can go on and get another innocent women killed.

I hated the first book.

Not your typical KU read

Getting Kindle unlimited opened up a new world for me. Who knew that there was a complete genre of billionaire romance? The genre itself on KU is mostly light, fluffy reads with just enough story to support the erotica within. So I was expecting a by the numbers quick read when this popped up in my suggestions.

Ladies, raise your expectations, settle in for the night, and get ready for rich, complex characters, stories that build up to satisfying endings. The men are flawed, the women are flawed, there is tragedy on both sides, but you never get tired of rooting for the happily ever after. I legitimately cried during white lilies! And I read this after reading the stone brothers and can recommend that series as a wonderful continuation. I don't often write reviews, but I am happy to have discovered a new to me author. Give this series a try.

Baylor, Skylar, and Piper Mitchell

If I could date these books I would give them a bit 20 Stars instead of the 5 Stars!! The stories of the sisters ups and downs through their lives are so real, page after page kept me the reader wanting more. Couldn't put the books down, then when I finished them I felt sorrow because there wasn't any more to read. Baylor the author her story of love and loss was very heart warming, Skylar the girl who was a s!ut as she called herself becomes a surrogate to a couple who cannot hAve children only to call in love with the woman s husband !! She also becomes the wife's best friend!! Piper the youngest has her on demons to fight being gang raped at the age of 17 her struggles to come to grips with her life is really well written !! Recommend with 5Stars

The Mitchell Sisters....wow!

This set...this!! Wow! It had every emotion. Every heartache. Every chill and thrill. The sisters are all a hot mess! Baylor, Skylar, and Piper. (Trying not to give too much away). I’m the oldest of three sisters myself which is what attracted me to this series in the first place. I did read the Stone brothers first, not realizing it was an extension. So I had to backtrack. But it made no difference. The story of each sister went from heartbreaking to heartwarming, from unsettled to settled. It was a rollercoaster ride to say the least. I found myself laughing out loud sometimes and crying sometimes. I’m definitely moving on to the next series!! The characters are so well developed, you want to go eat a Mitchell’s restaurant and sit and visit with them for a while. The Sisters are fiercely close, and I can soooo relate to that!!

3 Perfect Love Stories

I was lucky enough to find this trilogy about the Mitchell sisters, Baylor, Skylar, and Piper, after all three books had been completed. So they were available to be read consecutively, without the delay of publication that so often taxes my patience.

Each story is different from the others and each is wonderful in its own way. Although there is some level of angst and sadness that each sister, and often their significant other, has had to experience (yes, tissues may be necessary), they are all everything a good story needs.

Each story is independent of the others. Yet they build off one another and would best be read in order. They each encompass everything I look for in a great love story.

😍MUST ❤️READ ❤️YOU ❤️WILL ❤️LOVE ❤️ IT 😍

I overwhelmingly LOVED this series. I first read the Stone Rules series and fell in loved with Charlie’s characters and her story. It was heart wrenching and hard to read at times, but it was addicting and hard to put down. Now I just finished reading the Mitchell Sisters and it was just as amazing and I loved reading it. The three sisters have some over the top experiences, but at the end they found healing and love that was unconditional. Both series were surprisingly captivating and addicting. I will not say anymore except I TRULY, OVERWHELMINGLY RECOMMEND YOU READ THE SERIES. I would start with the Mitchell Sisters and then move on to Stone Rules. Happy readings!!!!

Baylor and Gavin's story is one of the amazing things I have read. I love the chase and their chemistry.

I didn't read the story of Skylar and Griffin, the first few chapters already set the phase of the story.

Piper and Mason, I love Piper, her personality and her determination in living a nomadic life. Although the story dragged and dragged and it gets frustrating in the end. I love how Mason is patient and understanding with Piper's situation. I love how Piper slowly heals because of Mason.

Overall, it is a semi-good read. I can't wait to read Charlie's story and she will overcome her struggles.

What flower is you favorite?

I'm blown away with how great this series is. This is my first I've ever read Samantha Christy's books or even heard of her. Her characters are well-developed and it's so easy to get caught up in their lives. One of the things that really impresses me with her writing is how she takes on difficult subject matter, one's many authors would steer clear of. Christy's does so with ease and skill, showing how mature her writing is. In a series you'd expect a cliffhanger, but there are none. It's just so well-done, you are compelled to read on and continue this series.

So look Predictable

I'm sorry I bought these books. I thought they would be good nonsense reading but I'm not sure they fit the bill. If there was a stronger word for predictable I would use IT. Spoiler Alert....introduction of the characters, enters first protagonist whether it be a person or a location, 5 pages of he/she will never love me, somebody dies, the female character retreats from relationship, queue makeup sex, and down the aisle. I just suggest a plot twist every now and again.
On a bright note the female characters are delightful the male characters are unicorns. Mason for sure is African American

I've only read Black Roses of the Mitchell Sisters Series, this was a really good book, the storyline was spot one, there was just enough sex to keep in natural and no tooooo much. This book is the frist book that I've read in a very look time that made me want to keep on reading to find out what happened to the characters.

I'll be starting on the second book, shortly. I do not know if they are in a particular order.
I just said to myself Mitchell Sisters, let me get a sample and see if I want to read it or not, the sample of Black Roses is the reason I downloaded the three book set.

Starting Purple Orchids or White Lillies in a few minutes.

Feeling complete ...

This trilogy is one I suggest you don’t miss. The Mitchell sisters have been to “hell” and back. This is one trilogy you will want to read! I honestly would give it ten stars if I could.
I’m new to the stories written by Samantha Christy. I only discovered her books two nights ago, while battling through my own haze of depression. These stories lifted me up, more than any depression medication could have.
I know these characters are fiction, but they touched my heart. Thank you, Samantha Christy, for putting your stories into words. Words that you may not realize helps some of us. Thank you for sharing your heart, mind, and soul with your readers.

Samantha Christy is a beautifully, breathtaking author. Her characters and their stories are captivating, heart wrenching, and so very real. It's impossible to put down one of her books once started and she definitely ranks among the top in romance writers!

Going back to the beginning with this series was worth it! I previously read The Stone Brothers trilogy first and wanted to learn about the Mitchell sisters and their struggles to their own HEAs, and was entranced by each of their stories. Each story was unique, a struggle to put down once started and the emotions so real, you feel them all.

Samantha Christy is a must read author and worth reading.
