This is a collection of the fifth six short stories in the Caverns and Creatures series. It includes the following
They Fight Three Giants
From the Bowels of Hell Hounds
Tossing the Salaad
The Fuccubus
Fistin' the Furious
Pixie Dicks
If you've already purchased all of these books, there is nothing new for you here. If you haven't yet purchased any, you can save a few bucks by buying this collection. If you've only purchased some of these already, you'll have to do some math.
This kindle book box set is from my Kindle Unlimited account five of nine
I listened to these individually each story is different with interesting characters lots of action, misdirection, and violence leading to each conclusion as the boys are having fun🤗🤔.
I would recommend this series and author to readers of fantasy world 🌐 adventure novels 🌃🎉 2025 🙃😏
Having just finished this, I find myself disappointed that there are currently no more of these books to read. Laughter is the best medicine, and I have laughed a lot with this series. As a D&D player in my youth, these brought back some good memories as well.
“Of course I didn't,” said Tim. “I was only joking. Surely, Sprinkles McJizzjar can take a joke, right? I mean, she suffered through twenty whole seconds of not having a pixie stick up her twinkle twat in order to shoot me in the foot because I couldn't take a joke, didn't she?”
I thought it would get stale after a while (and it kind of was), but this is easily my favorite of the short side stories in the Critical Failure Universe, and probably my favorite in overall the series since the second main story.
Don't know how Robert Bevan does it - keep rollin' out consistently funny short stories like these, not to mention the epic main series. Dave, Tom, Julian and Cooper - just good old boys, they don't mean no harm.
Not my favorite in the series, but god damn does Jonathan Sleep bring all these characters to life. I'm absolutely obsessed with this series, it just does not get old. I love every single character and honestly I don't give a fuck what they're doing, I want to read about it!
In really, really ang...happy. This book rocks! The story about the "pure" family was a little confusing toward the end. Still, the entire grouping was great.
Gross and funny. Funny because it is gross. The short adventures are also fun. I cannot recommend this to most of you. I can't wait for more in the series.
It’s hard to keep up with the main story sometimes (start reading something else while waiting for the next in the series) so these collections of shorts are great. Read ‘em individually and then again as a group is a double pleasure. In this one , we see Tim as a kind-hearted friend (the pixie tale) and the most crazy switcheroo in “fisting” it pumped me up to re-read 6 to get ready for 7.
Don't Loose Your Mind! Another winner. This group of short stories was fun and very entertaining to read. More than once I found myself laughing out loud causing a few strange looks. Highly recommend this collection.
