“I am a son who has sworn vengeance for the senseless killing the creature relishes in. I am a Wolver who dares to hunt werewolves. I am Lupări.”
Dorian is finally free from the werewolf's curse. Or maybe not. All of his allies have turned into enemies save for an old friend who has returned to offer some much needed help. As the werewolf pandemic spreads, will it be enough to save him from the Lupari and the rise of the Luna?
This is the third book in The Wolf of Dorian Gray - A Werewolf Spawned by the Evil of Man (Book 1) - Purgatoryof the Werewolf (Book 2) - Lupă Werewolf Hunter (Book 3)
“In order to be happy you must create something meaningful in this world and not just be a consumer of life. It is also important to share your love freely with friends and family. I believe in confronting your fears and experiencing new things, places, and people. Lastly, everyone needs something to believe in whether it be religion, a cause, or even themselves.” – Brian S. Ference
Brian S. Ference lives in Cave Creek, Arizona with his wife Rachel and three children Nathan, Lena, and Victoria. He has always had a passion for reading and writing from a young age. Brian loves new experiences, which has included operating his own company, traveling the world, working as a project manager, diving with sharks, and anything creative or fun. He is always up for a new adventure such as writing or other artistic pursuits.
Lupari Werewolf Hunter by Brian S. Ference is the third book in the Wolf of Dorian Gray series. It is an urban fantasy set in late 19th Century London. The book is written in third-person and is from several different characters' points-of-view. Dorian, who has been cursed to become a werewolf during the full moon is now in conscious control of himself during the change. Van Helsing, the demon cursed Lupari, is hunting both the Vârcolac who was separated from Dorian and Dorian himself. Lady Helena has gotten everything she wanted, youth and power, and seems very willing to embrace her new bloodlust.
This book is an action-packed adventure and I really enjoyed reading it. Now I just have to wait for the next part of the series.
Hunter of Himself (Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of the book, “Lupari: Werewolf Hunter” and decided to read it and provide my honest review, which I have.) The Werewolf Hunter is book #3 of the Wolf of Dorian Gray series. The storyline picks up where book two left off. The same characters carried over, although the author did introduce what could be considered new characters even though in some form they were in book one as well. What is exciting is that this is not a straightforward hunter book, it is swirling with emotion that is not reconcilable such as love for the monster(s) and what does this mean for self. When the hunters learn that new monsters can now be created, it is at first devastating news. Subsequently, it challenges the thinking of the hunter’s and the way they may need to adjust their relationships and thinking in an effort to be successful with their primary goal, the eradication of the werewolf. There are many surprises, twists, and turns and, as the reader, I was pleasantly rewarded with an engrossing page-turner read. I would give The Werewolf Hunter a 4 star thumbs-up.
Dorian Grey and Van Helsing are hunting the black wolf who is leaving dead bodies in his path. Van Helsing wants revenge against the black wolf for scarring his face and leaving him with a demons eye. Dorian Grey suffers from the same curse as the black wolf but he only changes on the full moon.. Sage the witch joins them to help hunt this wolf with assistance of her psychic abilities as well as spells and healing powers. This was a very good story, it had me interested right from the start, I was a little lost in some spots only because I didnt read the first two books in this series. I will be checking them out.. Great read
After reading this book by Brian Ference, all I can say, is bring on book 4 in this super exciting series. This story was about the struggles of Dorian Gray and Van Helsing and others who battle to change or accept what they have become whether they like it or not. Definitely not a book for the faint of heart or stomach, as there are multiple graphically described battle scenes with lots of carnage, but what else would you expect in a werewolf book, right?. This is a voluntary review of a review copy of this book.
So much action, werewolves and a tiny bit of romance. You get to see both views from the werewolf hunters and the werewolves themselves. VanHelsing's character is so interesting and I find that he's my favorite so far in this series. Dorian is still changing and Sage's reincarnation was interesting on how it happened. I can't wait to read Book 4 and also to see what the author's new series will be about.
Sometimes the Hunter is also the Hunted. Alliances are made to take out the most evil werewolves, then they are dissolved when no longer expedient. This is an action packed series and this is book #3, but if you haven't read 1&2, it will still make sense. It is better to start with the first so you don't miss any action, though. I recommend this to all werewolf aficionados.
The story moves on, we start where book 2 left off and the author leads us in a chase through London chasing werewolf's. Can the hunter trap them before many other people are killed. Read and find out.
I couldn't wait to start this book after finishing book 2 only a few hours ago. The story grew more complex as did the relationships of all the main characters. The ending was a total shock... Don't miss it!
This isn’t my usual kind of story but I’ve read all three of the series back to back and was surprised at how much I truly enjoyed them can’t wait for rise of the werewolf queen.
Kindle Unlimited, a day late at least on getting this review out, didn't realize had went live just knew it would be soon/-ish but had read the other 2 {all listed below from series} and wanted to read this one.
