I enjoyed this short read. Ciara went through the worst kind of betrayal, having her husband impregnate her best friend and then leave her for the friend. It took her a long few years of soul searching to get herself back together. Once she was good with herself, she decided to transfer from her office in NY to a smaller one in IN. There she meets Caleb Lee.
Caleb is lovesick over this woman from the first time he lays eyes on her. He actually had a Hollywood slow motion moment when she walked in the room. It was adorable. The two co-workers become fast friends, as Ciara makes it clear she is not ready for a relationship. Eventually, after months of hanging out everyday, the two friends take the next step. An incident threatens to derail all of Caleb's hard work to get Ciara to trust him, but things work out in the end.
The story line was fast. but cute and I enjoyed the couple very much. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Lovely
Did Ciara never grow strong enough to face the ex and her ex best friend? She lived through the confrontation of Caleb, also was there only one. Did Caleb confess all to her? He set his sights on her ,was patience, gave her time to know him and was rewarded with her love.

September 25, 2017Love Journey has once again given me all of the feels in this book. Ciara's heartbreak was something that many of us have experienced in some form or fashion. This book let me root for her to find her way back to love. And who better to do that with than sexy Caleb who is more than willing to be a 15 on a scale of 10. This is a great quick read if you're looking for an HEA. Love this author and look forward to reading more from her!

It was a beautiful story. I wish it was longer! But i wish the part where he ran into his many conquests as it were, saw them that Ciara piped up at her. You know us black women wont stand for no disrespect!

Sexy Summer Fun

Perfect Short Story
This relatively short story about Caleb and Ciara was perfect. Caleb felt insta love but took the time to get to know her and become her friend before expressing his feelings. Of course as soon as he made his move an incident from his past almost derailed their love. But Ciara did not waste too much of her time or our time by dragging out their estrangement. Putting Caleb and us out of our misery, she quickly and sweetly reconciled with him. He was such a SWEET guy I am glad she didn’t make him wait too long.
