Claiming His Virgin: He's Going to Make Her Beg

Rate this book
I'm a rock hard, massively hung, billionaire stallion.
I've got women screaming my name every single night.

But I wasn't born this way.
I was a virgin once.
And I long to relive the innocence, the delicacy, the delight, of my first time.
I long for the pleasure of exploring a woman's curves without knowing what I'll find.
I long for the excitement I felt the first time I entered a woman, heard her cry out, and almost fainted from the pleasure she gave me.

But there's no rewinding the clock.
At least, that's what I thought.

Jane's a ballerina and the most innocent girl I've ever met.
She's a complete virgin.
And I'm going to make her beg for mercy.
I'm going to show her all the things I wish I could relive.
The thrill of the first touch.
The pleasure of the first taste.
The overpowering ecstasy of her very first real 'O'.

And when I'm finished, she's going to be utterly mine.

I have read books written by men before, but this was really disappointing for me. The timeline was a little uncoordinated. Jane starts out as a dirty blonde and morphs to mousy brown. Her teacher is unkind then became her mentor. Valerie tease her mercilessly and then is nice. This story line felt like all the characters had multiple personalities. It had no substance. One minute Brad is on the run and being sued then they are getting married??? I read this story in 2 hours it was so light.

Sorry but it was highly disappointing.

Truly Surprised

I was given an ARC to read for an honest review. Chance is a very talented writer whom I feel did not live up to his potential in this particular book.
I am not in the least bit deterred from reading future works from Chance and I highly recommend his previous books .

I found that both characters had similar insecurities that brought them together for a love that shines through to their soul. Loved this book. I highly recommend it.

I am sad to say this but I was not totally en-amoured by this book or story, it kind of felt like the author was uncomfortable writing the story and it just didn't flow as well as the other books of his that I have read.

Jane is basically a down on her luck ballerina that is about to lose her home by the end of the week. Everything is going wrong for her, she heads off for ballet with trepidation as the other girls she dances with basically bully her and she teased mercilessly by Valerie. Its show night and she is ready to give the performance of a lifetime and catches the eye of Brad Halliwell the man responsible for the funding of the ballet production. Jane hasn't had the best experience with men and after her first kiss turned out to be a huge mistake she has stayed away from men, concentrating on her ballet above all else. Will Brad turn out to be all that she has heard or could he be her own white knight.

Brad Halliwell has been alone since losing his first love at a young age and has been looking to replace Kelly. He has been looking for the impossible and wants to re-create the love he had with Kelly, once he sees Jane he knows that she is the one he has been looking for an innocent in every way. He arranges to spend the week with her on his island hotel in exchange for a million dollars and make her see what they could have together. She is not the usual woman that he would take to the island and the staff have no problems filling her in on his usual type of woman and the many escorts that he has been seen with in his past.

Can Brad convince Jane that she is his future and shes the one that he has been waiting for or will she decide that this relationship is not worth the risk?

I was disapointed with the writing of this it was slightly stilted and although I liked the characters I found them hard to relate too.

0.5 stars - I couldn’t finish this terrible story with such one-dimensional characters and an asinine plot device. Luckily I didn’t pay for this, it was a freebie read included with Bridesmaid for Hire: A Valentine's Day Romance, which I thoroughly enjoyed and is so completely different in style and tone it’s hard to believe both books are written by Chance Carter.

First unlike many of my 1-2 star reviews I couldn’t fault the spelling and grammar. However, the style of prose had me skimming through pages reading every other word or so until I could take no more and relegated it to my DNF shelf.

There is nothing remotely interesting about either Jane or Brad and I ended up quitting the book just after they take off for their get to know you week. This story has a weak plot, zero depth of character and wooden interactions.

One to avoid.

I'm a fan of Mr. Carter but I have to admit this wasnt one of his regular and I didnt care for it for various reasons. There were some inconsistencies in the book. The 2 that stood out was Jane was described as having dirty blonde hair and then later mousy brown. Then another one was to meet and 7pm but then later it said 6pm. Just little things like that. The character development wasnt as well rounded as I'd like on both characters. I have to be honest and say Brad is a douche who is a virgin chaser. He cheats on her whether he went all the way with the woman doesnt matter. He allowed them to touch and suck on him..soo just sayin. His character led a lot to be desired. I also had issue with Jane's character. She was a little too whiny. Pretty sensitive and cried easily and it got old eventually. She was hot and cold a lot which I understand because she's got feelings and doesnt always understand them. Brad coerced her into some things without meaning to and made her uncomfortable and probably made her feel she had to do stuff even if he told her she didnt have to. He kept things from her and he supposedly had these feelings for her but I couldnt buy it. He was constantly comparing her to Kelly his first love which wasnt fair. Its like he was trying to mold her in a way but Jane never picked up on it. He didnt do it on purpose or to be mean or that he didnt like Jane because he did. I guess you can call it reliving his youth with young love he had with Kelly. Anyways, I jsut thought this was a little corny and over the top with constant sex all the time it was hard for them to even work on a relationship. A solid one anyways. I expect the corny over the top stuff in smut and naughty short stories but not a novel. I expected this to be a little more serious.

I know saying all I did I still liked it but not a favorite and it had its issues. I know a lot of people liked this and well parts of it was good and some not so much. Didnt always make sense to me. Just being honest. I look forward to his next book. Also, this contains more stories and this actual story stops at 27%.

Virginal ballerina Jane is spotted at a performance by Billionaire Brad who’s looking for a “special dancer”. He’s lost his first love too soon and has come in search of a replacement. Jane meets all his criteria, She’s a virgin. She’s eager to please. She’s absolutely broke and lonely. He makes her a proposition she can’t afford to refuse. It’s only a week after all and she doesn’t have to do anything she’s uncomfortable with. What could go wrong? Another heartwarming story by Mr. Carter you get to experience the love story of Jane and Brad.

Jane Bryden tenses up when her landlord pounds on her door to deliver a final rent due notice or she will be evicted the following week. Why is everything in her life going wrong? She heads out for ballet practice. It’s bad enough being late, but the girls tease her about not having any stories to tell about her wild nights with a boyfriend. And now she is ready to dance at the theatre – this is the performance they have all been rehearsing for and she is nervous because she has the least experience. She sat down to have her hair and makeup done and could not believe the change it made in her!

Brad Halliwell, the man who funded this ballet production, was trying to close a business deal before the curtain rose. He rushed to his seat as the lights went down and the dancers began to move. He had loved a young ballet dancer many years ago. They had made plans for their future, but a sudden serious illness caused her death. Ever since, Brad had hoped to find another ballet dancer just like his Kelly. So far, no one had made him feel that way again. But this time, he noticed Jane and could not keep his eyes off her.

The dancers go to a local bar after the show. Jane is feeling like giving up and going home to Utah. Then a man at the end of the bar motions her over. He kisses her and she hears Valerie laughing. Although she was not laughing at Jane, Jane hurried out of the bar anyway before Brad could get her phone number!

Brad sent someone to Jane’s apartment to offer her one million dollars to spend a week with him at an island resort. There were no strings on this offer. She was free to be herself. They both talked and got to know each other, each fantasizing as well as fearing they would fail in trying to start a relationship. Would this time draw them closer together or tear them apart? And would each go their separate way when they returned to their reality back in New York? Was there a future for them together?

The author is a very good writer and story-teller, but this particular book wasn’t as believable for me as his other books. I liked the characters but had a hard time accepting Jane’s total innocence and extreme naiveté – it just wasn’t that realistic to me, especially when Brad has someone track her down, offer her a million dollars, and she signs a contract without question or even reading it. Likewise, Brad – a savvy businessman – conducting a relentless search over the years for someone just like his first sweetheart, Kelly, was also a stretch of the imagination. But the author does tell a story well and I did enjoy it. You can count on well executed writing and a gentle, caring treatment of women with this author. He brings out the smiles and sighs from all of us, and his books are worth reading.

Hold Me Closer, Tiny Dancer💃💋

What 💘Love Really Feels Like

I am a huge fan of Chance Carter and have read most of his books.
However, I am somewhat disappointed with this book. It seems like this was an earlier work, pulled from the mothballs and revamped a little. I don't care too much for the tense it was written in, and much of the narrative and dialogue is stiff and a little ridiculous, especially during the xxx scenes.

The female character, Jane💃💋, is a struggling ballet dancer in NYC, and because she has concentrated so hard on her craft, she's a virgin, and has never even been kissed. She is also facing eviction from her apartment. Jane is just about at the end of her string. She's just about to give up and move back home. Defeated.

Brad🐺🍌🌋✋, the ultra hung, tall and ripped💪 billionaire hero? of this story is a patron of the arts, specifically, ballet. His first love was a ballet dancer💃 and he has spent 15 years trying to find another true love💘, the one, another virgin ballet💃 dancer. Weird. Obsessed? Totally arrogant?

Brad🐺🍌🌋✋ sees Jane💃💋 front and center in the dancers at the ballet performance he funds, and decides he has to have her.
He has his assistant go to her apartment and offer her a million dollars to accompany him on a tropical 🌴 vacation for a week. No strings attached, just her company!
Brad🐺🍌🌋✋ is absolutely sure of his sexual prowess and desirability! He'll have her in his bed before the week is out!
YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎

You've read the blurb, so you've got the jist of what's happening. I was prepared to hate Brad and was sure that Jane was just a replacement for Kelly. Every time I thought I could see a different side to him, he did something else to make him look bad. Jane was so naive that she knew nothing about life. Considering that, she was extremely brave and a bit desperate to agree to go with him. While they were away, I did begin to see a better side of Brad. I loved how Jane told him off and stood up for herself (apparently Brad did too). The more I saw her becoming herself, confident and poised, the more I realized it was because of Brad. He really was patient, caring and consumed by Jane. The only problem I had with him after getting to know him, was him not telling her what was happening. I can't blame her for freaking out after the newspaper article. If he had just said something it would have saved so much pain. I also loved how she handled her vicious classmate, Valerie. I do recommend this book for people looking for a sweet love story with lots of heat and fun, with a touch of drama. Give Brad a chance before writing him off like I almost did. I really enjoyed it.

MELT YOUR HEART SIZZLING ROMANCE

Brad, a billionaire has women fawning for his attention due to his hot looks and money. He lost his first and only love who was a ballerina. Escorts and one night stands keep him sexually sated but none have captured his heart. Jane a beautiful sassy ballerina struggles to make ends meet. She is a loner from Utah and an untouched maiden. When Brad sees Jane dance at a performance he has sponsored desires of want swirl through him. He makes Jane a one million dollar deal no strings attached to go away with him for a week. She accepts his deal and a friendship between them blooms.

An enticing read with racy dialogue, powerful vivid scene descriptions, sensuous toe-curling romance, and a blissful happily ever after. The two do suffer emotional ups and downs due to unexpected issues from Brad's past but their romance is genuine and they are totally devoted to each other. I enjoyed this story so {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy}. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

Going into this book I didn’t really know what to expect. It was different to Chance’s previous stories, but unfortunately not in a good way. I had a hard time trying to connect to the story and its characters, which made the read fall rather flat for me.
There were quite a few inconsistencies I noticed while reading which did annoy me a little, not everything lined up or made sense. It also annoyed me when POVs would suddenly change in the middle of paragraphs/chapters, it got confusing trying to figure out whose mind we were in.
These characters weren’t my favourite, especially Jane. The way she spoke and did things, in her own way, frustrated the heck out of me. I found myself struggling a little trying to get through the book and finish it (I will never not finish a book)
I loved the whole idea of the storyline but this book just didn’t work for me

First let me say that although this book may not have been my favorite and that I found somethings that needed to be edited better for more clarity, I would still give this author another chance. I see potential in his writing and from what I've gathered there are some books by him that have gotten much better reviews.

I asked to have the opportunity to read a book by him and I am really glad I got the opportunity.
Although I would like to read something a bit more recent. I believe that the more many authors write the better they become at expressing their thoughts in print to those of us that love experience the enigma that is their minds.

So, in the long run I am unable to give a great rating for this specific book I would love to read something else to be able to give a higher rating. The story was good, the characters interesting.
I just would like everything to mesh in the end and find a bit more strength in the characters and the telling of their story.

Another winner from Chance Carter.

Jane is in ballet school and getting bullied by her classmates, as well as struggling to pay her bills in expensive NY. Her school gives a performance and financial backer Brad is very taken by the young Jane. He hears about the financial difficulties she is facing and presents her a very Indecent Proposal-esque offer: $1,000,000 for one week Jane's company on his island. Jane feels like she has no other options (besides, she is very taken with Brad herself) so she agrees. While on the trip, Jane is constantly plagued by doubts about Brad's intentions towards her and her own feelings surrounding him and their relationship. Brad and Jane's road is typically bumpy (whose isn't, though?) but to find out how they get to their HEA, pick up a copy of this off-the-charts sexy story today.

I read an ARC of this book but am voluntarily providing a review.

As always when it comes to Chance Carter this is a very well written story. It surprised me in the most positive way. It is not a story that equal the ones he usually writes. This is different. And I liked it!
It is a hot story with steaming scenes and strong characters that are well developed. There are a few places where the description does not equal earlier descriptions but apart from that it is an amazing story.
The story is about Jane, a struggling ballet dancer, and Brad the man with the money. Jane struggles to pay her bills and has financial problems. Her character is a bit too innocent for me but she develops and gets better. Brad the billionaire is taken by Jane. He is very attracted to her and makes her an offer. You have to read the story yourself to see what happens. No spoilers here.

I read an ARC of this book but am voluntarily providing a review.

SO HOT YOU WILL GET BURNED!!

Make sure you have a fan handy when you start this book because you will need it. Chance has filled it with super HOT sex scenes that you will feel deep down to the very core of your body. The story starts with Jane, a ballerina, who is trying to extremely hard to believe in herself after a lifetime of self doubt and lack of trust for anyone. In walks Brad, who is a lost and lonely soul who wants to recapture the feelings he had with his first and only love that he tragically lost. He sees Jane dance and knows that she is different and he wants her. You definitely do not want to miss out on this fantastically written, happily ever after story. Chance Carter knows how to make you feel every single emotion that his characters are feeling and you will enjoy every single page from beginning to end.

I am at a bit of a loss on how to best review "Claiming His Virgin". Overall the book was ok, and that is not the review I would expect to write for a Chance Carter book. I just didn't feel the connection between Brad and Jane. Although I read it straight through and enjoyed them getting their HEA, I felt it was more a YA read. Rather than being redundant in saying things that many have already put in their reviews, I will say I think any author can have a book that is not what you would expect, and not to your liking. I look forward to continue reading more from Chance Carter as he is one of my favorite authors for romance. I would like to thank him for gifting me "Claiming His Virgin". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 3 Stars!

I normally love all Chance's books, and this one isn't an exception. But this time I had a hard time accepting the female's characther’s total innocence and extreme naiveté – it just wasn’t that realistic to me, today even if she's a virgin. After all no one is that shielded from the world....

But even so 'Claiming His Virgin' is another well written book, with romance, suspense, sizzling heat and all the emotions you want and expect from Chance Carter.

I highly recommend this book, as I usually do with Chance Carter's work.

I really like steamy and sexy stories. And I liked Room Service by Chance. But here I felt so out of the story.
Brad was sweet in some places but his thinking about bl*wjobs as no betrayal to Jane! That was awful and Brad thought it was ok! Not my type! And comparing Jane to Kelly more than once was for me like he was using her!
Jane was a 19-year-old virgin and was depressed about that state! Wth? Is it some kind of sickness? I don't get that... And she was so eager for Brad and nad did everything masterfully - how is that possible?
The style was good but other things made me not enjoy the story.

Young unknown

The story is long, ,tedious and boring. About a mature man's overwhelming fetish for young virgins and a teenage wannabe, who don't know what she wants nor what she's about and she's is trying to play in the big leagues with a man who definitely knows the game and playing her like a violin. I tried this book particularly because it's written by a young male. I expected a different perspective, but I am sorry to say the story line is childish and geared more towards the teenage reader over a mature reader. In any case I wish the author success in his endeavors.

I volunteered to read this book as an ARC and, as always with Chance Carter, I'm glad that I did.

This book has romance, suspense, sizzling heat and all the emotions you want. It also deals with some issues that can make you wonder if there are any good straight men out there. Jane is a pretty sheltered virgin who is looking for her "Prince Charming". Brad is an emotionally scared man after loosing his first love, Kelly, and has been searching for someone to make him feel what he felt with her.

Jane is a ballet dancer who is struggling to make ends meet. Brad once had a ballet dancer but lost her, and he's been trying to find someone just like her, so when he meets Jane, he's more than intrigued. I liked the storyline, but I wasn't a huge fan of Jane. She just didn't seem to have it together, and was a little annoying at times. I wanted Brad to be a little more macho and in charge, with a more commanding presence. He was a little too polite and soft for my taste, but things did pick up later in the story. It was still a good read overall.

Brad just wanted a simple life like he had but his high school girlfriend died he inherited his father’s company so he has been dealing with escorts and such for his relief. Jane is a virgin she has only had one experience in school with dating but he wanted to take it further, so she concentrated on being the best ballerina she could be. When Brad lays eyes on her he knows she is the one for him a perfect virgin but the hard part is gonna be getting her to let him in.

You are definitely guaranteed a great story from Chance and certainly get to escape for a while in them. This book has a great storyline that pulls you in and you won't want to put it down until the very last page but there are also twists and turns with parts that you find yourself wanting them to change their paths and it all makes great reading. Brad and Jane have great chemistry and their story is one that you will want their happy ever after, an enjoyable, very steamy romance and a must read.

Claiming his Virgin

Jane is a ballerina, a virgin and flat broke. When she's performing a show she meets Brad's assistant asking questions. She's confused until she meets brad , he has a proposal for her go away for a week and she receives a million bucks nothing more asked. Does she take it? Or does her heart tell her to go? Great read. This book includes three extra books. The first extra book is called Room Service with Mona and Oliver. The second extra book is called PlayBoy Ever After with Emma and Max. The last extra book is called Bad Boy Brother with Jenny and Roy.

You know what, you got me revved up for the first few pages, doing good job there. But there's a limit for back n forth between both hero n heroine until even at chapter/page 44 there still nothing happened. When they did the deed, lmao so anticlimactic. You dragged it out until it becomame stale. Blehhh. Now that's a turn off right there. Stupid cowardly immature heroine. Dumbass wussy slow hero.

Edit: - the fantasies are hot but when it came to both of them doing it lol... So rushed

So here is my one star 😁

Wow! Hot billionaire looking for love. Brad has everything money can buy however he is lonely and in need of love, desperately. When Brad goes to the ballet he finds a shining star in Jane. Brad does a whole lot of romancing and works hard to claim this dancing virgin. Claiming His Virgin is filled with sexy fantasies and hot and sexy encounters.

I received this book in advance for my honest review.
