Rate this book
***This SHIFTER is finally TAKING what he wants…in EVERY WAY…but little does he know it is all hanging by a thread…***

Blaine is a bear shifter under pressure. As the soon to be owner of Oak Mountain and head of BBT Mining Company, he has his hands full. And all that only gets worse when the sexy, curvy young intern comes to town.

Intelligent, spunky, and gorgeous, Estelle is more woman than Blaine knows what to do with. The bear inside of him instantly wants to stake its claim on her; but there's only one problem. Estelle is a little less than half his age.

They know the attraction between them is there, but more than that, they know it just can't be. Blaine has enough on his plate without giving in to the temptations of his young intern. Things go from bad to worse when he starts to have problems with the dragons, who want to dispute his claim on the mountain.

But when Estelle realizes she is carrying his cub she also knows he can never know…it would destroy all he has worked so hard for…but can she really turn her back on him …leaving him thinking she had just run off…just as they were finally falling for each other…?

Thanks for stopping by! I loves to weave tales of Alpha Shifters and the woman they love...or is it crave? ; ) I love all things fantasy and paranormal - if you haven't noticed! I am clearly a hopeless romantic too! What a coincidence! When I is not writing I am loving on her pet menagerie of cats and dogs - as well as on her very own Alpha : ) ...Our little gang splits our time between the mountains and the city in the far west... I hope my stories bring a smile, a laugh...as well as some steam to your day. And above all I hope they help you keep the feel of "possibility" alive in your heart...cause all things are possible...at least I like to think so! Enjoy

Naughtiness 3*

Awesome read, loved this book very much, and look forward to seeing more of them. I'm already Addicted to Stonybrooke now I have a month of Leelas series to obsess over lol, managed it in one go also as I couldn't put it down.

Absolutely loved Estelle, being curvy myself I so wish I had her confidence. Very much connected with our heroine and glad our hero earned his way to her heart. I won't give spoilers but will say it's definitely an adventure and very worth reading for all who love shifter romance.

Thank you Leela for writing it xxx

Potential

This story has potential:

The Dragon's claims & unique magic system.
The portals and the world beyond that may or may not be safe.
The history of the portals and how the bears and dragons came to be at these two mountains.
The chance for Blaine to wise up and grow up.

There are hints of who Blaine used to be before he was betrayed, but he is not the first man or bear to be betrayed. He is a total jerk 90% of the time which ruins the book. He sees the "my way or else" method as the best and fastest way to function and despite caring for other people, blocks out his impact on everyone. In this book, the world revolves around Blaine. But the truth? Blaine wins a battle or two, but is losing the war.

Blaine's lady is great in some ways, clearly compassionate and without prejudice, but she is also still stuck in coping methods tied to past abuse. Being self assertive is one thing, but being rudely manipulative is going too far.

The storyline has potential. It could explore the larger picture presented and work on those challenges, including Blaine's bitterness and the anger he spews. As it stands, the storyline is a disappointment. Blaine's lady is brought into the story and the crew find a special place while mining in the mountain, though it's not clear if it is a portal or not. Other than that, the story goes nowhere.

Content:
Occasional crude language and violence.
Open door sexual intimacy.

Not recommended.
I will be deleting this from my Kindle Library.

Love this series. Estelle needs a summer internship to finish her bachelor's degree and finds one at Oak Mountain. Blaine is a bear shifter and is also the boss of BBT Mining and hires Estelle to work in the office. There is a lot of drama going on at the mountain due to Dragon Shifters battling with Blaine over possession of the land. Each want to find the portals before the Equinox. Blaine is impatiently waiting for the courts to finalize legal documents stating the mountain is his property after his grandfather passed away. Meanwhile he has workers mining the mountain and is determined to find the portals to get his kind back to where they belong. He didn't count on his bear trying to claim Estelle. She's too young for him and he's been burned before. He can't get her off his mind and after saving her life during a freak storm, they both give in to their desires and steam rises from the heat they put off! Both say it can't happen again, but will they be able to keep their passions at bay and stay away from one another? I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I borrowed Oak Mountain Shifters: Complete Collection, by Leela Ash, author and Her Billionaire Shifter Boss ~ Oak Mountain Shifters ~ Book 1 is the first book in the collection in the Kindle Unlimited Program on Amazon.

Estelle needed an internship to finish her business degree and found one at BBT Mining Company on Oak Mountain owned by a group of bear shifters and headed by Blaine. It was a perfect job to complete her degree program and when Blaine hired her right after meeting her, she was happy.

The dragon shifters wanted to claim Oak Mountain too, but the Blaine had inherited the mountain and valley below from his grandfather and had legal claim to the land.

Estelle and Blaine came together when he couldn't stop feeling protective of her. Plus she had family issues too that he came forward to rescue her from them too. Finally his bear couldn't resist claiming her as his with her agreement. Interesting story with Blaine thinking he was too old for her and Estelle finding what she really wanted.

Blaine is from a long line of bear shifters, and is currently fighting with the dragon shifters over possession of Oak Mountain. It's been in his family for decades, and he knows it is rightfully his, but until it can be proven in court, his hands are tied. And even tho there has been a truce between the bear and dragon shifters for over 50 years, things are starting to escalate.

Estelle is nearing graduation from Stoneybrooke University, but is still lacking an internship credit to complete her graduation requirements. When her bff shows her an ad for office help for a mining company, she jumps at the opportunity. It's just what she is looking for.

This story has chemistry, some intrigue, family drama and so much more packed into it that you will be at the end before you realize it, and left wanting more! I am looking forward to many more books in this series.

I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Well the name and the review were more interesting and eye catching than the story. After I started reading it I taught there would be more to the story ,but the only thing I would find was dragon shifters causing problems , then more problems and then the tag line of the story the heroine is being kidnapped and the our bear shifter hero is running like a wild animal to save his possession.Nothing more nothing less to it.
Well shifters story are suppose to have passion, possessive ness and lots of wild sex but even the sex portion came out of the blue with no warnings . If u really want burn some excess of passion then this is a great book.

First book in a new series that exists in the same world as the author's Stonybrooke Shifters series & it's not a bad introduction. I did find it a bit confusing at times with not enough explanation as to what was so important about what they were mining for, how the disagreements were with the other shifters came about & what is this 'portal' that kept getting mentioned but not explained. I also found the blurb differed from the story. All of this sounds very negative but I really did enjoy it - as long as I was willing to overlook the holes. A good first book, as long as the series builds on the basis of this book with ongoing themes to answer some of my questions

Awful

This book was truly awful. There was so much reputation, that I got tired of reading the same old thing over and over again. The author really loved to hear herself talk, too. Each story went on and on and on, but the words were just words. There was no substance to any of it. And did I mention how repetitive it was? The same line was used in one story twelve times in the same chapter.

So, I was really excited for this book to get on with the... Lore of the world and continue on with the love interests....and it drops. Then doesn't continue in book 2 really. I even held out for book 3... And the world building to relationship building ratio just... Doesn't balance.

Still a good story, would still recommend. Just... Not what I was hoping to be.

Her Billionaire Shifter Boss is a very entertaining story. I like the characters. They both had a few fears, anger, and hurt to come to terms with. This is my opinion. Thanks
