This is book 1 of the Tundra series and it was fantastic and I can’t wait for the next one. This is Stella’s and Gerald’s story, Stella is the only dragon left after the hunters slaughtered her family and now she goes looking for a new clan. Gerald is the alpha of the Tundra clan and he has no time for a mate until he meets Stella. The hunters are determined to wipe out all dragons for their blood, the human hunters have so much hatred for the Dragons they believe there is power in their blood. Wow what a great read there’s action, adventure, suspense and hot steamy scenes and who doesn’t like sexy dragons. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves Dragons.

We meet the 3 brothers of Tundra, First we meet Gerald who comes across Stella after she shifts in his territory. Stella is looking for a Clan to join and Gerald is not looking for a Mate so who will get what they want. There are some great characters we get to meet and I have to say I love Gerald's Mum Ann as well as Stella's feistyness and Gerald's hesitations that could mean he loses more than he knows. I can't wait to read more about Gerald's brothers in the next books who seem very differnt from each other.

Stella is searching for a new clan and encounters Gerald the Alpha of the local clan.
After her parents were murdered and the last two elderly passed away Stella was left alone so she starts searching for a new clan and a new home. Taking to the air in her dragon form attracts the attention of Gerald the Alpha of the local clan which Stella was unaware existed. She looks at him in his dragon form and feels an attraction. A fast paced adventure to snuggle down and enjoy.

I really liked this story. Besides being well written and a quick read, it does not waste too much time world building (since it is modern normal Earth with Dragons!). Instead it jumps right into the story of Stella and Gerald. Was rather funny watching them second guess themselves and each other like normal people. Of course liked the added danger and secrets too that will definitely show up on the rest of the series I predict. Just a well written steamy story that is fun to read. Loved the secondary characters but thought Stella was the bomb and I really want to be her when I grow up.

What a great start to a new series.

I am loving McKayla Schutt's take on dragons. Add to that, the characters are complex and realistic. This is why I love reading her work. Stella is a strong female who has the right balance. Then you have the three brothers. I love how Gerald is a mixture of his brothers. He has the flirtiness and the aggression but in the proper amount, making him perfect to be Stella"s mate. Plus, he embraces her alpha tendencies. Can't wait to read Darius's story.

She is a feisty female dragon and he is a strong alpha male dragon. He is not sure he wants a mate but his dragon wants her and won't budge on it. She wants him and he is not sure. Well her parents promised her to another before she was born and he wants her to. So the games begin. It is exciting, suspenseful, fun, emotional and so much more. I recommend it. she is a strong dragon and she wont marked her mate as she wants him to do it first. he wants more like a mate and kids but she is so strong. her past is an issue she wont share. will it come and ruin what they may have in the future. see if they can mate and have kids. will her past ruin their future? a wonderful read

Stella decides to go out for a flight on the night when the witches cast a spell where all dragons can fly without being seen by humans or hunters but as she;s flying she notices a very big dragon flying toward her and when they land and shifts he starts going off on her about why she's in his territory without permission and then he says come to his home and she does and they end up mating.

Winter solstice brings the urge to shift for Stella as it's dangerous otherwise but shifting in another's territory can mean death.
She's in the Northern Thundra seeking a clan to call home, this journey however, brings risks from hunters, clan members, estranged friends/betrothed.
Will her mating with Gerald take place?

Dragons! What more could you want?? Sexy alpha male dragon, sassy alpha female dragon, action, hot and steamy scenes, suspense, this book has it all. I read it in one sitting because I was unable to put it down! I would recommend this book for all PNR fans and anyone that loves or even likes Dragons! A one click must.

And I thought her Wolf Shifter books were amazing! I am completely blown away and enthralled with McKayla's Dragons. Gerald and Stella are now one of my new favorite characters of all time! I can't wait for book 2 to be released I need to see what happens next!

The story was good. Stella is the only member of her clan that is left alive so she is searching for another clan to join. She knows that there is a clan in the Tundra but after two days of searching she has about given up. She decides to go for a dragon flight because this is one of the nights that witches use their magic to hide it.
As she is flying she sees another dragon, she lands and transforms because she doesn't want to get in trouble if she happens to be on another clans territory. The dragon happens to be Gerald who is alpha of the Tundra clan she was looking for.
Gerald doesn't want a mate even when his dragon is pushing him towards Stella.
There are problems with a group of humans who hunt supernaturals. There is also a small issue with Stella already being engaged to another dragon unbeknownst to her. Her parents had arranged it before she was even born.
Read to find out what happens with the hunters and if Stella will choose to stay with Gerald or do as her parents wished.

Kept my attention throughout the book. Highly addictive especially if you love paranormal reads. Highly recommended. I loved it especially the characters.
