Kai does it again in this short novella! You’d think one rescue attempt at age nine was enough for Kai, but no! He witnesses a girl being kidnapped and he jumps into the back of the truck to try help her! Riveting read and a few surprises thrown in:)

Really enjoyed the story, but was disappointed Sawyer and Harlow didn’t get their HEA! Velvet, please put something together for these two, I want to know more:)

Exciting read!

I loved this quick read. Kai is one strong character and I enjoyed pairing him with a fast thinking young lady on this adventure. I can't wait for the fall release to learn more about the COBRA families.

Kai Costa...

I love, love, love little Kai. What a kid. I was hoping his family could adopt Autumn... hmm maybe? Would be pretty awesome. Future story maybe Kai & Zoe in 15 years?! Great book -just too fast of a read. Ms. Velvet-definitely more Kai is needed.

Gotta love Kai!! This was a wonderful short story. All children should be as aware and capable as young Kai, who has such a strong role model in his father and all of the COBRA agents 😀. This was very action packed and the details in Kai's thinking and actions is remarkable. I look forward to the next adventure for the COBRA family.
