Julia has a mission given to her by her CIA Director, one she's not sure she's cut out for: to get close to and seduce Collum Robinson, guitarist for Australian rockstars the Harbingers. To do this, she's installed on Pleasure Island as a submissive maid. Julia is the least submissive person she knows, so this particular mission is going to be hard. Or is it really? When she gets her first taste of Collum's full on Domly qualities, suddenly her body is acting a lot submissive, and a lot in lust with him and his domination. What is her world coming to? Being seduced into submitting to a Dom? It's so unlike Julia and it's doing her head in. Her body's all for it, though, and she and Collum keep drawing each other in deeper, both physically and emotionally, until the day it all crumbles beneath her feet. Will she get her Dom back or will Will always hate her for her betrayal of his trust?
Her Rockstar Dom was pretty fantastic - super steamy, some action and an interesting mystery, along with the layers of emotion the two lovers are finding themselves drowning in all while discovering Julia's submissive (or not) tendencies.

Wow, I loved this book!! Whether you read this book as a part of the Pleasure Island Series or as a standalone it is well worth your time! Julia Dailey is a CIA agent on a case that is investigating some of the people on the island. She is strong, independent, dedicated to her job, but shut down emotionally to men due to a past hurt. One thing she does know is that she is pushing her personal and professional limits on this assignment. Collum Robinson is a rock star and a Dom on a working vacation on Pleasure Island. He is thought of a player but only wants to be loved for who he is and not his job as a rocker. He enjoys the smaller things in life and wants someone genuine to share his life with. Can two emotionally damaged people find happiness together when there is so much deception involved? The author wrote a wonderful story with a plot that draws the viewer in and has them hoping that love can overcome the hurt and deception as well as the crime that surrounds Julia and Collum on their journey. While the story revolves around these two main characters, there are many secondary characters that add to the story and emotions in the characters interaction. There are drugs, crime, mystery, action, BDSM, love, lust, friendships, betrayal, and self exploration. Come read and enjoy this new adventure on Pleasure Island! I highly recommend this book as a must read! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

The Pleasure Island series is a spinoff from the Dungeon Fantasy Club series and will have some of the people from DFC make an appearance. Jared McTavish left Scotland and created a BDSM resort on a private island about an hour from Nassau. Many of the members of DFC will have access to Pleasure Island in an exchange agreement. The story is a spinoff, and each book will read as a standalone. They also have people from DFC, but if you haven’t read them, you won’t be lost.
Julia Dailey is a CIA agent operating undercover at Pleasure Island, trying to catch the link between drugs entering the United States, the middleman, and the Columbian known as El Jefe. She has her target, and now much do whatever it takes to bring this case to a close. The one thing that makes this difficult, is Julia is not submissive and yet, she will have to pretend to be one.
Collum Robinson, the guitarist with the Australian band, The Harbingers, is more of a loner and during downtime, prefers to be by himself in the Outback. While most of his bandmates have recently become involved with their submissives, Collum has never felt the attraction after a one-night hookup. Taking a week at Pleasure Island will give him a little play time with some new subs. Their band manager, Frank, has tagged along for his own fun.
The plot will have Julia and Collum meeting and her mouth and attitude getting her into trouble with him. He demands she either submits to his punishment or to allow Master Jared to do it. What starts out as punishment, becomes an erotic sex scene at the poolside and then to his villa. This will be the beginning of their time together.
Two people with no plans for anything but a little fun together quickly becomes an addiction to each other. I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
Julia was working undercover she had to take this assignment otherwise they would give it to another person. Callum was going to check out the island and the guys were going to check out the subs. Jared and Tyler showed Callum where they are putting the amphitheater. He thought about going down to the club tonight but when realized that sometimes a sub would recognize him and they want to get close to him. Julia wanted to get close to her mark but she also had to act like a submissive. She went swimming and at all of a sudden she runs into a big chest. There he was her mark Callum in the pool she was really mouthy and he told her he was going to punish her or let Jared the owner. Julia figured she needed to play the part so he punishes her and she is really turned on. Julia followed his Dom requests plus she could get close to him. Julia and Callum spend the night together and she couldn't believe how much he knew her body. The next morning when she woke up she went into the bathroom and started to look around for drugs. Callum catches her going threw his things and she tells him she wanted some mouthwash and some floss. Julia knew she needed to find a way to get into his villa so she took the two villas from the other cleaner Sherry. Callum once again finds her going through his suitcase. She tells him she was looking for a shirt to wear. Julia and Cullam couldn't get enough of each other he was also proud that he could initiate her in somethings of the lifestyle. Callum and Julia were going to the club and then Jeff shows up. He started to talk to Julia while Callum stepped away telling her that he is glad to seeing someone owning her. Julia freaks out when she sees Callum's face so he takes her to do a scene where he used the flogger on her. They go back to the villa where she tells him she was sorry . She proceeds to tell him about her ex boyfriend and why she said what she did in the club. Callum brought Julia into sub-space and asked her questions he finds out that she was with the CIA and he was under investigation. Jared the owner of the resort was really angry that she had used the resort and mislead one of the Doms. Julia and her team went looking for Jared and they found him. Twists, turns, and redemption. Will Callum and Julia ever find a way to be together?

Collum is a famous rock star on Pleasure Island for some r&r while also giving advice about the sound system
for the theatre they are building. Collum has his sights on Julia from the first moment he sees her as she is
swimming in the pool, naked. When Julia surfaces from the water, she comes up against a large warm body.
Collum looms over Julia as he is crowding her space and nudging her to the side of the pool. Julia resents the
dominating move and verbally attacks Collum. Oh dear, Collum is a dom and threatens to discipline Julia himself
or report her to Master J for punishment.
The fun starts, it helps that Collum is the person agent Julia is supposed to get information from, he is the suspect.
After some intrigue and many wonderful BDSM scenes, the couple is forming some strong bonds, BUT he is the suspect
of her investigation!
I loved the sincerety that Collum shows, along with the affection he shows to Julia. Julia is a hot mess.
This was another 5 star book by Anya Summers for me!
I can't wait for book 6 to come out, I already pre-ordered it.

Strong Submissive
This story is pretty good. I took away a star because the story had lots of thinking and sometimes it felt repetitive. I felt the interaction between the Dom and his Lady was pretty good but maybe a bit more communication would have been nice. The story isn't as fast paced as I would like either. The background for both parties and then the overall story seems to take forever... in fact the Rockstar is there to help out setting up a theatre or performing venue and he spends one day on it and then once he is with Julie he seems to forget he is supposed to be helping out at all. Of course Julie's secret agent activities also seem forgotten until after she falls for her Rockstar. The whole story picks up in adventure and excitement once the Rockstar finds out she is an agent but then the ending with her in hospital and him on tour really seems a bit unreal... surely if he cared he would have at least sent her flowers... it seems like weeks before he finally gets around to seeing the woman he thinks he loves... this story is alright but parts are a bit unbelievable. There is action adventure with several Dom Sub scenes, but some just hot sex too.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Julia Dailey and Collum Robinson. Julia isn't all she seems. She comes to pleasure island with instructions to find out who is coming to the island and what exactly they are doing there. This is find until her instructions change she is told she is to submit to someone they want more information on. Collum see Julia and feels something he has never before in a woman. However he isn't sure if he can open up fully to her in the beginning. However the closer they become the more they want to be it all for the other. What happens though when the past and Julia's secrets come to light will they come together to fight for their chance at HEA or will this just be something that happened on the island?
This book is supper hot. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the book for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This is book 5 of the Pleasure Island series. Julia is a woman on a mission. Collum is that mission. Julia is definitely not a sub. No one knows that because she is deep undercover. Her mission is to act like a sub to get close enough to Collum to find out why he is involved with drug dealers. Collum is a man who has everything but can’t find the one thing, well make that two things, that he really wants a woman who wants him for him and a pathway out of his deep depression to contentment. Julia is exactly what Collum is looking for, the demons seem to be quiet when he is with her. Julia didn’t know it but Collum is exactly what she has needed all a long. It seems as if they have it all together until the present collides with their fantasy. Anya once again has written a tale that is more than just a BDSM themed story. It has intrigue, depth to her characters, and she weaved in others from her previous books in a way that makes you realize she knows her readers are paying attention. Yes, you will of course have adult themes and hot sexiness it’s a story in the BDSM genre. I enjoyed this story and recommend it.

I love this author and I have liked or loved every book of hers I have read up to this point. This one moved so slowly for me. I found myself thinking OK can we move on to the story. I love a good sex scene as much as the next read but this one was story in the first 10% then SEX, SEX, SEX in the middle and then quick wrap-up of the story in the last 10% of the story. This one was missing the heart for me. I also found it really hard to believe that a Don/Sub relationship could happen between Collum and Julia unless they could have a true restart. Trust is the number one item in this type of relationship and yet theirs, while it had trust, was built on lies. Lies alter trust. I felt that there needed to be more for them to be able to continue their relationship. This one was just a disappointing OK for me.

Collum has avoided getting too personal with women, because as a celebrity he can’t trust any woman’s motivations. But there’s just something about Julia, and it’s clear she’s not swayed by his fame nor fortune. They click so well together that it has him rethinking his long-range goals, and has her rethinking her commitment to her job.
These two have have more chemistry than any couple ought to have, leaving them (and the readers) breathless after each of the many steamy encounters. But once all the secrets are out, then all hell breaks loose. Both Julia and Collum learn the truth about each other, but it may just be too late for them to repair the damage that’s been done. This is one of the better romances in this series, one with an abundance of heart, plenty of compassion, and a HEA that will have you cheering. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Here we go again with another great book by Ms. Summers. This one is book 5 in this series and I can't wait for the next one. This book deals with love, adventure, risks and conflicts. The two main characters, Julia, who is an undercover CIA Agent investigating Collum for drug smuggling and Collum, a rockstar, connect from the start but they both have issues from there pass that they are dealing with. Julia doesn't think she has a submissive bone in her body but Collum, who is also a Dom, brings out the submissive right away. It was great that passed characters were also made a part of this book which makes the flow from one book to the next with out any gaps but each book is also another story so they can be read as stand alones. If you enjoy reading hot BDSM books, you will love this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Her Rockstar Dom is one of Anya Summer’s Pleasure Island series books, number 5 to be exact. While I’ve been admittedly iffy on the series, I actually really liked this fifth installment of the author’s offshoot of the popular Dungeon Fantasy Club series.
Our couple consists of Julia, an operative who is sent to the deliciously kinky island to try to get information on a drug smuggling ring. To do that, she has to play submissive to rocker Collum Robinson, who is her number one suspect. Of course, she’s new at the whole BDSM game, and completely takes Collum by surprise. The obvious hijinx ensue, and there are a few misunderstandings along the way.
So far, I think this has been the best of the series, and Ms’ Summers is really hitting her stride. Plus, I enjoyed the fact that it showed that doms are human too!

At first I was interested in this entry in the series because it seemed to have more plot beyond the simple Dom meets sub, but then the plot is largely ignored for a large part of the book as the author focuses on the romance. Of course, the villain is easy to spot and eventually we get back to the plot, but it seems it might have been more intertwined into the love story. I was also thrown off by references to characters who seemed as if they had already had their own book, but then upon looking, they have a book 2 after this one in the series, which is disconcerting.
But our main characters, Julia and Collum, definitely have chemistry. And the sex is generally enjoyable. Another quibble is that it's generally the DEA who investigates drug dealing, not the CIA. Maybe a trifle more research?

Collum has gone to the island resort to take a break from everything and help out his friend, Jared, with a project for the island. He's not looking for a sub or anything else but the minute he sees Julia, he knows that's going to change. Their instant attraction is confusing and intense for them both.💞💗💞
Again, it deals with the BDSM lifestyle and it's many, many variations so if that's not for you don't read this book. But, this whole series has been amazing and this book is no different.💕

The story of Julia and Collum is a love affair inside of a mystery. Julia is a CIA investigator and Collum is the person she is investigating at a BDSM club on an island in the Bahamas. They meet, and rapidly fall in lust with each other, leading to a lot of sex and some BDSM activities between them. They are both damaged emotionally, and it takes their new relationship to gradually lead each of them past their previous issues – but before they get there, there are serious problems involving the investigation and its effect on their relationship. I liked Collum as a person; I liked Julia less because of all her complaining to herself about how to reconcile her role as an investigator with her growing affection for Collum.

This was a book that was very difficult to put down. The story line was very engaging and the characters had some depth. I really enjoyed how the characters evolved as the story progressed. I also like that though I could see stuff coming, I still wanted to read it to find out how it happened and how it got resolved. There were some fist pumping moments where I was cheering the characters on, and I am sad that I don't get to read about Julia and Collum as the main people again. I hope they come traipsing through a future story in the series so I can find out how they're doing.

Julia and Collum's initial attraction is near combustible. But Julia worries that when Collum learns of her deception their growing relationship will implode. It was satisfying to see these 2 strong characters
find their way together inspite of the twists and turns in the story. As always, it's nice to see how some of characters from this and the previous series ( Dungeon Fantasy Club) are doing.

So I was reading, and getting more and more sucked in because Ms Summers is an awesome writer. And I knew it was headed toward disaster, because of who Julia is and what she's doing. And my stomach was clenching and I wanted to stop reading because I didn't want to see the heart wrenching mess at the end of the book. Like a train wreck I was compelled to watch. I couldn't stop because it... was... just... so... good! Five sexy, angsty, heart-wrenching stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Julia is CIA. Her job is to infiltrate the island and get close to rockstar, Collum. Her job is to find out if he is involved with drug trafficking and if not, who is. The problem is that the island is for BDSM lifestylers and Julia is definitely not in the life. Collum is a Dom who is used to being the alpha, but somehow Julia is not finding that so hard to live with. Their attraction is overwhelming and she worries that Collum will hate her when he finds out she has been lying to everyone.

WOW!!! A great book and fantastic read. I found this book sexy and exciting. The story and the characters were well written with great detail. This story was full of many emotional situations and exciting experiences that I would love to have had as my own (but don't tell my husband). After reading the book I feel as if I was there. This book is addicting and you will not be able to put it down. It is a must read and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Anya Summers does it yet again with a five-star read about a sexy alpha rock-star who loves the outdoors and a strong yet submissive undercover CIA agent.
Each of her doms are definite book boyfriend material that you wish were real and Collum is definitely at the forefront of these! The plot-line was also captivating and so compelling I just couldn't put the book down until I reach the last page and even then I had a book hangover in the best way.
