Tyler Kane made his appearance in Personal Solicitor, the well received first novel in the Tyler Kane Legal Thriller series.
In The BC Killer, Kane receives an eerie message from a mysterious derelict about his wife’s death. Before he can delve into this new information, he receives a visit from a man who is seeking his advice. This new client reveals some strange and confusing information about a murder that had recently occurred at a local country club.
Kane’s assistant Leann and his lifelong friend Earl join in to help Kane investigate the circumstances surrounding this new client after he is arrested and charged with murder.
Before they know it, they are crossing paths with a serial killer. But this isn’t just any serial killer. His methods of killing are both brutal and unique. What’s more, Kane fears that his client might be the killer.
As the murders pile up, the answers to critical questions seem to grow more elusive by the day. Who is the killer? Why is he killing? Can Kane stop him before another victim is claimed? The answer to these questions will shake Kane and his friends to the core, and the dangers they face after finding the answers may very well cost them their lives.

I enjoyed this author's writing style. He eases the reader into the story and then grabs all of the reader's attention. I didn't want to stop reading until the last word. The story has a methodical progression. You're never lost at wondering who a character is in the story. You get essential background on each one. I couldn't figure out who the killer was until Tyler Kane told me. He's an interesting character along with his assistant Leann. I definitely enjoyed the visuals I got as I read through the chapters. This book ended with a BANG! Five stars and two thumbs up.
I enjoyed this sequel even better than the first. The story is well developed and the likeable main characters grow on you. A truly entertaining clean read with a cliffhanger before the big truth is revealed. Well written and good characters development. There's also a hint of a bigger story behind Kane's wife accident which I believe will be a story for another day or book. In the meantime I look forward to book 3.
Well Done!!! A really well written book with well fleshed out characters.

This is one of my favorites! The way this author writes will keep you from putting this book down! It could be a detective series on tv. The characters are amazing. The story feels like it is true. I love the authors writing in detail and how he puts you on the edge of your seat!
Well written, well paced, suspenseful thriller that will keep readers involved as they turn page after page. The story focuses upon a team of legal and investigative professionals that direct efforts to uncover the identity and purpose of a serial killer responsible for a rash of murders and abductions. Recommended 4.5 star worthwhile reading.
A great thriller, I was enthralled from the begining. You are captured with the easy writing style that and you can't put it down. The characters are well defined, the plot well played out through out the story. I could see this as a series on TV. It was a exceptional read, that captures to the ending.
This sophisticated and thoroughly entertaining novel manages to blend drama, humour, action and the law in a fantastic narrative. I thoroughly recommend it. I haven’t read the first in the series yet (which was no problem) but I will be soon.
I enjoyed this book like book one. The grabs me immediately and keeps me reading. I didn't enjoy all of the biblical references but the idea of a crazy preacher and money scandal kept me reading.
Intriguing whodunit with interesting characters and very interesting storyline. Very well written and imaginative and very well done. Kept me guessing till the end.
