My favorite books have always been mysteries and romances, so the mix in romantic suspense was a natural. I love writing romantic suspense because it throws the hero and heroine together under extraordinary circumstances and pits them against a clever villain.
My books have been both a Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer’s Choice Nominee and a finalist for the Daphne du Maurier Award. Reviewers have called my books fast-paced, thrilling, action-packed, sizzling, and highly emotional.
I have also published two children's picture storybooks, Sleigh Magic and Stowaways: a Maine Pirate Tale.
I am a West Virginia native but I have lived for many years on the coast of Maine.

The Devlin Security Force is very much like Romance and the Stone. Each books has two staring characters who fall in love with each other as they struggle with the task in front of them. It is a fun series when you have time to sit down and enjoy a little sunshine or next to a fire.
Susan Vaughan has the ability to bring her Romance in the Stone style books to life with humor, romance, gun fire and things go boom. The different characters depending the story have great banter and chemistry but at times the female lead will make readers want to scream what are you doing. The Male's can get a little to Tarzan but that is expected with these type of series.
If you love Romance in the Store or movies and series similar to those you will enjoy this series.

ON DEADLY GROUND
A father and a brother the adventurous one in the family. For her a desk as curator of a museum, with priceless artifacts. Doug is gone, the instruction to follow, she had no choice but to bring in Devlin Security. Max would be with her, she now remembers the name and what Doug had said about him, not knowing he had put a spin on what really happened. She didn’t know what she was heading into and what was worse what Doug was into.
Their are smugglers wanting these artifacts, and Max prefers to work alone.
Action packed, and about the Mayan culture.
RING OF TRUTH
Cort had several goals, one find the missing ring, to complete the set. By doing this he hoped to get the FBI off his back. Mara is the first step, getting her to listen to him. Clearing her fathers name was that important to her, Risks are high, the beatings are many, the bomb threats, to name a few. The attraction is there, Cort has been a loner, she deserved more. Good tense plot, that held your interest to the end.

A multi task force is going after Centaur, they are known for stealing jewelry, and art artifacts the last few years. Thomas wants the necklace found and the reputation of his company back. An old flame Cleo, in trouble and he rushes to Venice and a cruise ship to help her. Sparks are still there, between Cleo and Thomas. A story filled of how desperate they are to get the necklace, the story flowed to the end. New things are on the agenda for Thomas and Cleo.

Overall this set is 3.5 stars. This box set includes four books in the Devlin Security Force series (On Deadly Ground, Ring of Truth, Cleopatra's Necklace, and At Last: A Devlin Wedding). These books could be read as standalone, but each book builds on the previous one. This set makes it easy to read them all in order without trying to find the next book. There is violence and the sex is hot and steamy so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. There are clues in the storyline that keep you guessing what will be revealed next. It definitely kept me reading. Overall it is an interesting storyline and worth taking the time to read.

The Devlin Security Force Boxed Set was my first read by Susan Vaughan, but once again I have been introduced to an extremely talented author who brings excitement and realism to her books. And what a fabulous way to enjoy the series, with all four books in one boxed set.
Each story has an original theme and is jam-packed with thrilling suspense, deeply buried secrets, the much-required romance and some serious hotness too! I loved the characters and their individual personalities, the storylines and the easy ebb and flow of the author’s writing style. I would definitely recommend Ms Vaughan to anyone who hasn’t had the pleasure of reading her work.

This brings you 3 stories going after the group who have been stealing antiquities and selling them to bad guys who put them in their private display. DSf has set it as their business to try to return artifacts to where they belong. This is the story of 3 of the people who work with DSF in one way or another and how they each find romance in the process. On Deadly Ground is about Max Rivera. Ring of Truth is about Mara Marton. Cleopatria's Necklace is about the boss himself, Thomas Devlin. Each of the stories brings them in contact with Centaur and maybe why this group seems to be after Devlin Security Force in particular. The stories are different but each is a great story on it's own.

This was so much hotness to read. I love reading series together like that it makes it fun. The characters in these book each have their own personalities and relationships with the hotness level off the charts. Each books takes you through romance, suspense, thrills, secrets, and hot scenes. This was a great book bundle and I love this author. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write a honest review.

I truly enjoyed this box set! I usually stick to bump in the night stories, but this was an intense change of pace. I'm not one for traditional romance stories, but the amount of action and thrills kept things lively, and kept me on my toes trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Very well done, a believable plot, nice pace that reacts to the story, and Enough adventure to please anyone! Thank you for the opportunity to review this work!

This is a collection of 3 stories. They are a wonderful selection from author Susan Vaughn. Her heroes from Devlin Security Force along with their clients face danger, adventure, and try to resist the romantic feelings growing between them. Tastefully written bedroom scenes cap off stories that take you to expt0c locations. A definite MUST read!!!

Wow
This was such a great set of books involving a group of people who either worked together or found each other through an act of violence. They will have you hooked and gasping for breath as you wonder if everything will be alright.

Steamy and suspenseful!
I can't decide which of these books I liked the best! All have sexy men and beautiful women. The suspense is great and the stories are all great. You'll like the characters and boo the villains. Good read all of them.
