This was a short read and direct to the point which I am not a fan of. Another heroine with no redeeming qualities. I think Dawson is better off with some other girl. 10 years waiting for this girl was a waste. Poor guy.

Liberating and Pleasing!

This is the perfect lunch hour escape. It is short (it was a short story in an anthology) but it is full and complete. This is a second chance love story of a woman who tried to be everything her father wanted her to be and that included breaking up with her one true love. Ten years later, during a winter storm for the records, she is again faced with her need and want of the only man she ever truly loved.

This was such a fun read, it was entertaining, with a bit of drama. Some amazingly steamy scenes and great characters, and the writing is well done to the point that I almost felt the snow fall around me. I would recommend this shorty to anyone who needs a break and was a great little read. I believe that these short stories are part of a mini series of fast, steamy reads that are sure to entertain. I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

I received a review copy of Rugged Rescue and this is my freely given, honest review. This is a holiday themed novella. It's a sweet story about a young woman named India that returns home for the holidays and gets stuck in a snowbank on the way home from the grocery store. She rarely comes home to visit because she has a big regret in town and his name is Dawson her high school boyfriend. Now it's 10 years later and unknowingly the snowbank in in front of his house and he's going to help her out. There's nothing like a second chance at love and that's what these two would like. The novella is told in dual POV and as I said it's sweet with a bit of sexy too. Enjoy this bit of Christmas love!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. What a delightful and quick read from Ms Wilde. I loved Dawson and India. Two people who ten years ago dated while in high school until India's father voiced his opinion regarding Dawson and basically told her not to see him again. Now ten years later the two are brought together again after India loses control of her car during bad weather and lands in a ditch outside Dawson's home. Dawson comes to her rescue and the to eventually work things out and get a second chance. Neither one stopped loving the other. This was a hot and steamy read and I loved the story line. Great HEA!

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** A second chance with the boy (now man) from the wrong side of the tracks. India & Dawson are former flames that happen to find each other in a snow storm on Christmas Eve. Ten years ago, her father convinced her that he would never become anything, had no future & for that matter, neither would she. But the poor boy has now become a man that owns his own bar & saves India when she crashes in a ditch near his house. Let the sparks fly! But can they both let go of the hurt of letting each other go ten years ago or will her father's words haunt them? This is one sexy quickie full of emotion that will warm your heart!

Dawson Flint. He's sexy, all man, and tattooed. Ten years ago she broke his heart. Ten long years they've been a part and both have not forgotten each other. One snowy afternoon before Christmas she runs into the ditch next to his house and he comes to her rescue. The night they spent together was passionate and everything they both needed. Reality hits the next morning though and it broke my heart to read it. I could not read fast enough. I wanted, no needed, to know who would give in first and put these two back together. Ugh, this novella has it all and then some. I absolutely freakin loved this quick read!! Worth every single penny. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This is such a sweet second-chance romance! India and Dawson are so great together, and their chemistry is obvious to everyone. There's just the right amount of tension and a little dramatic suspense. I loved this story when I first read it as part of an anthology, but it was so good it was a joy to read again.
