Green: "If someone gives their life for you, it is because they can not bear to live in a world without you. This is a great gift and a terrible burden, and if you are going to live, you need to be grateful for the gift and prepared to bear the burden."

Cory: "I do fearsome things, when I'm touching people who love me..."

Cory fled the foothills to deal with the pain of losing Adrian, and Green watched her go. Separately, they could easily grieve themselves to death, but when an enemy brings them together, they find out what a great and terrible force love can be.

Amy Lane's Little Goddess series is seriously addictive. If you like fantasy, action, mystery, and romance, you'll enjoy these novels. Cory is an imperfect heroine - she's beautiful in the eyes of those who love her, but by no means a supermodel; she's insecure, down-to-earth and humble (unlike another series whose name I won't mention). Ms. Lane's world-building is complete and believable. More than any other series in a long time, these books really drew me in. I seriously couldn't put the book down and read it pretty much in one day. I stayed up until the wee hours to finish it. I actually cared about these characters in their alternate universe.

In this novel, Cory is at school in San Francisco, burying herself in classwork to overcome her grief at losing Adrian. Throughout the novel, she learns to love, learns to lead, and faces an entity that steals memories of "firsts." She, Green, Brack and the rest of the menagerie uncover the root of the plot that eventually killed their beloved Adrian. She also becomes inadvertently bound (sort of married) to two people.

I'm excited to read the third book in this series. Loved it.

I reviewed Vulnerable and started immediately reading Book 2 of the Little Goddess Series, Amy Lanes Wounded.
The title tells us if you have read Vulnerable (and it is a must before Wounded) to see how Cory and Green deal with the death of their Beloved and they truly are WOUNDED...The Death of a close person, to most of us, is a series of feelings we must go thru before we can make peace. Unfortunately Cory and Green try to do this alone, which nearly destroys them. Green sends Cory off to College in San Francisco, and only sees her on weekends. You know how that is..You never get too close on these trips...Just close enough.
This book finally reveals how "WOUNDED" these two are..Title dead on...They are wounded..
This book is all about love and healing.I love the reference to King Arthur and Lancelot and Guenivere...Enter Bracken...Please read this book and take the ride Amy Lane is taking us on...I've cried a lake in book 1 a river in book 2.
Exciting storyline to keep your interest, and I am willing to look to book 3 with hope and love...or maybe book 4 (three might be an ocean) you never know with Amy

In this second book in Amy Lane´s Little Goddess-Series Cory has left Greenshill to go to college in San Francisco. Green is regretting that he had allowed Cory to leave but he had hoped, away from Greenshill she would be able to heal after all the dramatic events in book one but this hope seems to be in vain. Cory is too deeply hurt and can´t let go. One night Cory calls out to Green for help and when he, Bracken and Grace arrive in San Francisco they learn that she was attacked by a fellow student who had stolen her memory of all her "firsts". That is insofar bad because Cory can´t remember what had happened when she summoned her power for the first time and the danger it creates for herself and all around her. They discover slowly that this was on purpose and that a new (and old) enemy has risen to destroy them...
Again I loved this second book and the continuation of the story of Green and Cory and all the others. Bracken plays a more prominent role in Cory´s life now and I have to say I like him. He´s very protective of Cory and Green can´t always be there for her because of his obligations for this people. Nicky, her attacker is an Avian were-creature and isn´t a bad guy at heart,he is just mislead and followed only his leader´s order. But although he was portrayed as a victim to the evil intentions of his leader, I have mixed feelings for him and couldn´t really warm towards him. Maybe because in comparison to Bracken and Green he comes off not so well, being a bit too pathetic and feeling too much sorry for himself in my opinion. It got only more complicated when due to unforseen events he was forced upon Cory as a mate. Although Cory doesn´t love him she´s kind to him and maybe this plotline should only show us what a big heart Cory has. I really could live without Nicky´s addditon to Cory´s men (I refrain from writing harem.. but only barely, lol).
Nonetheless it´s again a wonderful story which is more about emotions and love than action and I´m really hooked on this series!

In my review of Vunerable (the first book of the series) I mentioned that I didn't care much for the first half of the book, but I was glad I stuck with it and finished it. Well, now I am even more grateful that I finished it because I can't imagine missing out on this book!

Wounded is all about Cory and Green and the rest of 'family' of preternatural beings dealing with grief, but most of all, finding a way to heal. Sometimes it just takes time. I didn't find the story to be extremely sad (like some reviewers), mostly just touching and very emotional. I am so glad that Bracken came into the picture and is there for Cory. His personality is so great too. He seems to be disgruntled and rough a lot of the time, but all in the name of love.

I juggled between giving this book 5 stars instead of 4 stars. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the errors that could have been avoided with a semi-decent editor. I can look past most things, but I do feel it caused me to read it slower and I also had to re-read a few parts just to figure out what the author was trying to say. It didn't get in the way of the story, just a little bit frustrating at times.

Some reviewers complained about the over-the-top relationships, too much intercourse and non-monogamous relationships in the first book, but I think the author presents it in a very tactful way and just plain hot and steamy! Quite frankly, I'm totally jealous of Cory and wouldn't hesitate a second to be in her shoes!! Great book, great series, can't wait to start reading Bound.

For all it's faults, not a bad book, or a series. It is a bit repetitive as the author restates her main character's reasons for the way she feels way too many times, and the editing (at least on my kindle version) was not that good.

I also didn't really care how everything has to revolve around the main character. I mean, I know it sort of has to, but it felt like the world would crash and burn (which is patently not true) if something happened to her. It just felt like over sweet icing slathered on in a far too thick layer. I was able to put that aside for the most part and did enjoy the other characters in the book far more than the main character.

Not a huge spoiler, but I also didn't like that on top of being apparently tremendously talented magically, the main character can also sing superbly. What? Can she tap dance and do a shimmy too? Oh I am sure she would. It just made me roll my eyes a bit. And does .every. male in her vicinity have to drop and drool at her? Just about!

Other than that... well, I enjoyed it. My quibbles are small, and if you can get the books of this series on sale, I do recommend reading them.

If Laurell K. Hamilton really understood what the ardeur was for other than an over-complicated sex life, she might write a book like this one. But she probably wouldn't because she doesn't have Amy Lane's worldview. The Little Goddess series is appropriately sunlit because her main character, Corey, draws her power from the sun. It shows us a universe where love and loyalty have magical power in themselves. I find this series really sympatico.

Wounded is even better than Vulnerable, the first book in the series. I absolutely loved the resolution and the use of the song "Rain Must Fall" which was written by one of the characters. The lyrics encapsulate Celtic history and the sacred cycle of Pagan Celtic religion.

The second book in Amy Lane's wonderful Little Goddess series. Mourning the death of Adrian, Cory heads of to college with Remy and Bracken in tow, but before long, danger finds Green and his family once again.

Bracken, who had only a supporting role in Vulnerable comes into his own as a new love for Cory as they both mourn Adrian. All emotion and instinct, Bracken wears his heart on his sleeve and provides a wonderful counter balance to Green.

Amy continues to build her world and presents us with a beautiful and emotional read. (I thought I'd shed my tears for Adrian in Vulnerable, but found that almost all scenes dealing with him in both this book and Bound to be quite emotional).

*** This review contains SPOILERS of the first book in the ‘Little Goddess’ series, ‘Vulnerable’ ***

It has been months since Cory left her newfound fae home in the California foothills. She left behind her new, supernatural life and the man she loves, the fearless foothill leader Green. She left with grief in her heart and despair in her eyes . . . for she still mourns the death of her first lover, the vampire Adrian.

Adrian was taken from her too soon, with too little to remember him by. She and Green both grieve for him and miss him, but Cory feels the suffocating need to leave for school in San Francisco to deal with her wounded heart in private.

And it is in this glorious new city that Cory is attacked. A strange supernatural presence has stolen Cory’s ‘first’s’ – the most important of which are linked to Adrian.

So Green, along with his faithful elf second, Arturo, Adrian’s adopted-brother and lover, Bracken and a cache of fighting fae leave for San Fran to protect Cory and get back what was ripped away from her.

‘Wounded’ is the second book in Amy Lane’s paranormal romance series, ‘Little Goddess’.

I went into this book a wee-bit sceptical. I did enjoy the first book of the series, ‘Vulnerable’, but was flabbergasted and somewhat disheartened by the ending in which Adrian sacrificed himself for his and Green’s people. I loved Adrian – I thought he had a terribly tragic past and that there was lots of potential between him and Cory and what they bought out in each other. I was looking forward to reading a series in which a romantic threesome was established and maintained. Alas, that was not Amy Lane’s intended trajectory for this series. . .

‘Wounded’ sees Cory and Green in the latter stages of their grief, which has been worsened by their distance and time apart. When a malevolent being forces Green to rush to Cory’s rescue, they are both forced to admit their feelings and struggles in the wake of Adrian’s death. Green must acknowledge that Cory will need to take another lover (or two) because as a sex-healing fae, Green cannot give himself completely or monogamously to his beloved. Meanwhile, Cory is surprised to learn that a college classmate has been crushing on her for four months, and that Adrian’s adopted-brother, best friend, romantic rival and sometimes-lover, Bracken, is lusting after Cory and desperate to be her new bedmate.

Despite the changing tides of Cory’s affections as she opens her heart up to new lovers and romantic possibilities, Green is her constant. Their love is spectacular, and open. Yes, Green gives his body to numerous Sidhe and fae in order to heal emotional and physical wounds, as well as strengthen alliances . . . but what he has with Cory is distinctly different in heart and tone. His sexuality may be fluid and frequent, but Cory is a boundless love that Green has not had the pleasure of experiencing since Adrian came into his life. I love Green and Cory, even if there’s still a small part of me that believes Adrian was Cory’s more interesting partner.

Bracken is a surprising new addition to Cory’s ‘harem’. He was a sidelines character in ‘Vulnerable’, one who had a combustible and unfriendly first encounter with Cory. But since Adrian’s death Bracken has reassessed his intentions and decided he wants in Cory’s bed and even a more permanent place in her heart if she will allow. I really liked Bracken – he’s a nice new romantic addition (in replacement of Adrian) and his being polar-opposite to Green makes for a nice, fiery balance in Cory’s life. Bracken is possessive and jealous, and Cory knows that a relationship with him will be full of high-drama and pitfalls . . . but by the same token he is caring and noble, and Cory feels safe in his arms like she hasn’t done since her first lover’s death. Bracken and Cory are a somewhat tangled web, for Bracken’s previous relationship with Adrian – but as this series progresses Amy Lane really highlight how fluid and open the fae sexuality is, and as a reader you don’t even bat an eyelash at some of the trickier couplings.

Cory is slowly coming into her own in this book. She made so much progression in such a short time in ‘Vulnerable’ – from an angry Goth girl, to lover of a fae and vampire, respectively. But Adrian’s death has put her two steps back in emotional development. It’s interesting to read her struggles with a changing world view while dealing with the very raw, human emotion of grief and loneliness;

“ . . . My whole life I wanted I wanted to get out of the freaking foothills of California, but now all I can think of is going back, because I fell in love with Green’s home, and Green’s people, and now I want to be there again. I mean I'm what? A hundred and fifty miles from home?”
“Too far.” Bracken murmured. “You’re too far from home.”
“It feels like a hundred and fifty mile hole in my heart.” I told him, feeling that hole heal a little, just to say it. “Can you really fall in love with a life? With a . . . preternatural flop house for the fey and undead, just by falling in love with its leaders?”

I'm still not 100% convinced that Adrian’s death wasn’t a trigger-happy plot ploy by Amy Lane. I still feel like he was a missed opportunity and he is sorely missed in ‘Wounded’ . . . but I am interested to read the next two books in the ‘Little Goddess’ series. I am loving Cory’s emotional maturity and changing view of the world – not to mention a brand new kick-butt attitude and powers to match. The romance in this book is fiery and lush, with plenty of couplings and romantic tension.

Wounded, Volume 1, Amy Lane
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Sci-fi and Fantasy
Strangely, although this is book one, you really need to read the earlier book Vulnerable to understand all that goes on. I’d seen this one for review and when looking up info came across Vulnerable, read the sample and was so blown away by the story I had to buy it ( wow – with my own money - even though I’d a slew of books to read!), and read it before starting this! Its a fabulous series, full of the best of the supernatural world, vampires, shape changers, elves and all sorts of strange people living hidden in plain sight in the “normal” world. I love the way Fae in a book lets in so much beautiful fantasy, the way it can be so magical and unexpected.
Cory has now become part of it, very unexpectedly, and is in a kind of limbo. At the end of the last book her lover Adrian died – I was gutted, heartbroken for her. I hate when things like that happen and yet...I also love it, it shows that there’s going to be unexpected events, that the author isn’t scared to kill off major characters and makes the books unpredictable. I have read series where it didn’t work, where I was put off the stories that followed, but here Cory also has Green, and that keeps that continuity going. There both grieving, along with others of Green’s people, for Adrian and for others that died in Vulnerable. Now they need to move on, life continued despite all the grief in the world and there are people depending on them as leaders.
Cory goes off to college with Renny, returning when breaks allow. Then something huge happens, and they need to regroup, to get back together, to defeat yet another enemy, but away from home territory. Their grief shows, they’re thought weak, and to an extent it had weakened them. Green and his seconds have always welcomed everyone, unlike the other Sidhe leaders, and it makes them stronger when those they’ve so long supported are now able to support them.
Its another great read, taking in battles and dangers, learning more about Green and Adrian's past, bringing in more people to the protection Green offers. I love the way that the dangers are worked in, caught in to the everyday lives of Green and his group, so the personal touches and personalities can really shine. I don’t want to watch from afar but get right into the story, and knowing the characters and their issues brings me into it best. I feel I’m there with them, scared and wanting things to go right, happy and elated when they do. There’s sex here – lots of it. Its not graphic, but it is frequent and its not just m/f but m/m too and ménage. That’s fine by me but I know some people don’t like it. I feel it works well in the story, that without it things wouldn’t have such clean explanations. Sometimes sex comes into a story just for titillation it feels, but here its integral, a needed part of the story. I love too the way that Officer Max has been drawn somewhat reluctantly into the group, even though he’s human. It ends on a natural point, but showing that way for the next book ( s) I just wish they were out now!
Stars: Five, a fabulous read for fantasy lovers.

Cory's now a college student in San Francisco. She goes to class, she eats, sleeps, hangs out with Renny, her roommate, and her new friend, Nicky, but she isn't really living. Ever since she escaped home after painfully losing Adrian, she's been going through the motions but not really caring. She's always wanted to go to college but losing him changed everything.

The only time that she feels okay is when she's with her elf love, Green. They both need time to grief their loss but when Cory's horribly attacked by someone who she considered a friend and Green hears her call for help, he can't help but to answer. That sets off a series of events that will forever change both their lives. A new enemy is rising but so are new alliances and Cory and Green are right in the middle of it.

It's hard to describe how Wounded made me feel. I actually cried a lot more than I did with Vulnerable. In this book, Cory's a completely new person, it seems. Her grief has shaped her in such a way that physically and emotionally, that's all she is. And while she's still dealing with her pain, all these things start occurring that causes a whirlwind of emotions in her. While she finds new love in an unlikely friend, she finds herself and I think that was the most important aspect of the book. She's grown a lot because she has gone through a lot but in Wounded, she finds a way to move on and like I said, finds herself again.

Bracken's my absolutely favorite character. He's insanely protective of Cory and what I loved most about him is he is just hers. He's her rock. And it would have been great to be able to read his point of view but the story focuses on either Cory's or Green's. I'm still not sure how I feel about Green. He's their protector, their leader but it's painfully obvious that he wants Cory to himself and he just can't have that. I felt that the matter with Nicky was really not okay at all. That's the one thing that I did not like about Wounded. He's so young and he's basically trapped in a loveless marriage now. And I'm torn between thinking that while this definitely could have been avoided, I'm really hoping that it doesn't turn into some kind of three-people marriage.

Much of the storyline takes place in San Francisco, mostly centered on the war that is going on between the elves that live there and the new evil guy trying to take over that area. While there's plenty of action and great fights, Wounded is mostly focused on Cory's relationships but it doesn't completely eclipsed the plot at all. There's a nicely written balance between these two aspects that make Wounded a great read. As always, I'd like to mention that Mrs. Lane is a self-published author and as such, there are a number of grammatical errors in the story. But I'd also like to mention that while they're noticeable, they, in no way, take anything away from this wonderful story. I absolutely enjoyed this roller coaster of events and emotions with Cory, especially with Bracken, and I'm so looking forward to seeing what the future brings for these two in Bound, the third book in the Little Goddess series.

This review is for the second edition - Wounded - Volume 1

At first release (2005), Amy Lane’s “Little Goddess” series was clearly a precursor to her future work. Showcasing her creativity and writing skills, it introduced the author and her characters as forces to be reckoned with. Now, in a second edition, “Little Goddess” is back. Better than ever. If you haven’t read it, stop now and pick up “Vulnerable”. You’ll need it before reading “Wounded”, and really, it’s a damn good book.

Picking up where Vulnerable leaves off, Cory and Green are grief-stricken and attempting to heal, though not finding solace in one another as lovers should. True to Amy Lane’s style, forces beyond their control will soon change that. The lovers and those around them who are also in pain must come together to control their destiny.

Secondary characters are brought to the forefront. There are new names, faces, and relationships; no character is unimportant in this series. Ms. Lane continues to build Green and Cory’s world(s), with more layers of love, romance, family, loyalty and yes, treachery and betrayal. Age old opposing forces of good vs. evil, love vs. hate arise as Cory, Green, their friends, family and enemies struggle to persevere. We learn more about their magic, their preternatural selves and their importance to one another.

Lane immerses us in rich character history; in this first volume of “Wounded” Green’s past is further revealed. Faces from said past have returned – both to help and to cause harm. The bond between Green, Cory and their loved ones, how they handle this as a united front, as a family, through the danger is the crux of this amazing story.

As with any Amy Lane book, there is love and romance, but here it is taken to another level. The intimate moments are not just love and sex, but are filled with magic, beauty, romance, sadness and angst. There are happy and tender moments as well, and sometimes it is a combustible whirlwind of it all. There are times when love literally saves the day.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Ms. Lane is the master of her craft. Her skill with the written word is one of the best I’ve encountered. It draws me in every time, bringing me back for each new release, and at times for a reread of one of my many favorites.

Being reintroduced to these characters, I remembered why I fell so hard. For all their power there is such vulnerability; they are easy to love. I’m so invested in them and their world. I urge you to venture into the world of “Little Goddess”, the world Amy built. Let a little fantasy into your reality – not only will you not regret it, you’ll come back for more.

I love this series. The whole menage-romance thing was a little out of my comfort zone, until I read this book, and the first book in the series.

In the first book,Cory, a human girl with superhuman powers started dating a vampire, Adrian. He was her night love. Adrian was mated to a very old, wise and powerful Elven-Fairy who happened to be the King of the Fae.
Green, the King was also a healer among his people who used sexual energy for healing. Cory fell for Green, vice versa, and they became three. Green being Cory's day love, Adrian her night love. The great thing about the whole trio was that Green and Adrian loved each other as well. The sex scenes were not too descriptive, it was not porn, and the focus wasn't on sex, however the three of them together were hot.

The tragedy in the first book left Green and Cory wounded, in pain. And it now brings us to the second book (this one) where they are left in extreme pain and hurt due to the loss they experienced.

Because of Cory's special powers she needs to be with a love at all times to feed her energy. And Green can't be there for her exclusively because being the leader and sexual healer, his people need him. Green realizes the importance of Cory having a mate who can always be there for her.

This is where Bracken, Cory's personal guardian comes into the picture. Yum Yum! He is just amazing. I would love to be Cory, to get to sleep in between these two hot males who treat her like she's Goddess' gift.

What I don't like is her obligation to be mated to Nicky. I feel bad for Nicky because Cory does not love him. Nicky deserves more. So that bothers me, and I just don't want it to take away from what she has with Bracken and Green.

I hope in the next book Bracken and Green will want to be together with Cory. I hope they become a new three like the way they were with Adrian.

I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Wounded is no less amazing of a story than Vulnerable. One of the major differences is that this story starts out straight into the heart of Cory's pain and grief from the loss of Adrian. Green and Cory are struggling (as is everyone on the Hill) from the loss of their prince. It begins in pain and moves to transcend that emotion and to grow and learn from what has been left.

"Listen to me. I will spill my insides for you once only. We were three - I am the green, the growing, the day. I loved the moon, the silver night, and he loved the sunshine, fierce and hot, and she loved me because the sun must love the day. And the sun and I stood in a valley of stone and faced death, because we wanted to spare the night, who had suffered a thousand deaths already, and we didn't want him to bleed anymore. But he would not allow it. He swooped from the sky and clenched death in both hands, and we wore his blood like skin."

Cory has left the Hill to go to college in San Francisco and is only coming home on weekends. Definitely not enough time for Green and her. When Cory sends out the metaphysical scream for help, Green, Bracken and Grace rush to SF to help and find a new threat in town. And along with this threat they find a betrayal that shreds them to the bone and lends itself to their final warrior actions.

Amongst all of this is a new lover and an inadvertent lover for Cory. She and Green both must learn to accept all of the changes not only within her but within their lives and their Hill. Amy Lane has written another masterpiece in the Little Goddess series that can not be enjoyed only once. It is a must-read and a re-read for my shelf and should be for everyone's! Experience it. You will never regret the decision.

Synopsis
Cory is lost after the death of her first love, so she does the first thing that she can think of, she runs away. Green sets Cory and Renny up with an apartment in San Fransisco, hoping that they can heal each other while attending the university. Unfortunately, the city is not as safe for Cory as it seems. After having the memories of her firsts (first kiss, first love, etc) torn from her, Green realizes that the paranormal community of San Fransisco is under attack and that if he is going to retrieve Cory's memories he will have to fight the group trying to take over the city and face old enemies from his past.

Review
This book is similar to Vulnerable in the combination of erotic scenes and plot. While I found the story to be very engaging, I was almost deterred by the sheer amount of sex scenes. The character of Cory is slightly annoying in the book as she feels very similar to Bella in New Moon with her grief. Thankfully though, she has some will to live and does work to get her grief under control and kick some ass. Some of the relationships between the characters are still a bit flat, but they do have quite the barrage of situations thrown at them, so I suppose that could be why.
I will continue reading the series, and did enjoy the story.

My Recommendation

I enjoyed the story, but the erotic material was still a bit overwhelming and the emotions in the story reminded me of New Moon (with sex that is).
3/5 - Rent it, Borrow it

This book opens with Cory living with Renny in San Francisco as both girls try to go to college and deal with the grief of losing the "men" they loved - Cory mourns Adrian as Renny mourns Mitchell. Green, leader of the sighe, thought it best that both spend time in the human world, and it also allows him time to mourn Adrian away from Cory. Green forged alliances with the San Fran sighe to make sure they would be safe, but when Cory is attacked and her memories of Adrian stolen it begins a conflict for power that reveals some sad, scary secrets as to why Sezan and Crispin attacked Green's people in book one, Vulnerable.
This book was much better written than book one. The plot progression, grammar, character development, etc. were much smoother and made the book more readable. I'm glad I decided to read it, but wish I could score it higher. The problem? The Mary Sue-ness was off the charts. I get that Green and his people, especially Cory, are the good guys. But the over-the-top, can do absolutely no wrong, curing homophobia with a single touch, love always wins characters are just a bit too much. Despite these problems, however, I'm absolutely going to read the third book. Something about this story has me hooked.

I loved this book. It had all that the first book lacked for me. It had a terribly sadness to it the whole book that was a result of the death in the previous book. I felt so sad for Green and Cory. Green had loved Adrian for over one hundred and fifty years then one day he's just gone. Cory was basking in the joy of first love then her gets taking away from her. Their loss was very terrible. And then for them to find out that people they trust had been responsible for Adrian's death was just the biggest blow. I loved how Cory and Green dealt with their enemies in this book. They all deserved what they got. I found Cory and Bracken's relationship uneasy at the beginning. It took me awhile to get into the transition of them going from a sibling sort of friendship to lovers. And also Bracken's relationship with Cory didn't have the dynamic that Green, Adrian and Cory had. I got to accept that Bracken wasn't a replacement for Adrian but just loved Cory on his own. I was sad for Nicky. He mistakenly bounded with Cory and Green for life when they felt only friendship for him. I'm glad that they're both caring for him regardless of not returning his affection. On the whole, this book was pretty great!

Continuing story of the young, wild woman, her fae mate, and the responsibilities of a queen

Fans who enjoyed the first book in the Little Goddess series (Vulnerable) should enjoy this second installment. I jumped into this series after reading some of the author's later works as well as being exposed to Green and Cory in another series (Green's Hill werewolves). The writing in the Little Goddess series isn't as tight or as effective in the heart-wrenching stories that the author tells in her contemporary series.

As one critic wrote, it's part stream-of-consciousness, part unbridled thought and passion, and part celebration of sex. I agree with that criticism, and sometimes the meanderings seem like a hot mess, but overall I just love the exhilaration too much to let the sometimes wacky writing get in the way of my enjoyment. Fans of the Promise Rock series might be surprised by the even more unrestrained writing in this series. However, if you're a fan of the contemporary paranormal, fae, werewolves and a shy-average-semi-goth-teenager turned into a powerful paranormal mini-sex goddess-like Lady, than this series might be for you.

Musim panas lalu hidup Cory berubah.

Bingung deh, baca Wounded. Tapi sepadan sama perjuangannya, ending Wounded nggak mengecewakan :)

A lucky find that has earned its way to the top of my favorites list. I swear this series gets better as it goes along! The character depth and development is astounding; I've never cared about characters so much. There's action, romance, humor and much more. You'll need an open mind for this one as love and sex is not limited to the white bread of one man and one woman. I promise you this series is a must read. I anxiously await the next in the series.

I would tell one lie if I don't tell that this story and protagonists remember that of Hamilton but in this book there is a lot more. For example the sex is poetic and erotic and sensual, never vulgar or crude or obvious and meaningless, even there is ever love . The plot is original , this time the bad steals the memories while the general plan is hurt Gree and your people. A few words for a great book.

So damn good. I am so glad I found this series. The intensity is off the charts. I laughed at the beginning and was crying at the end. A full range of emotions that for sure. The characters are so likeable especially Green.
The pace is steady and flowing.
Highly recommend this book and this series.
Ms. Lane has a winner here.

I was truly disappointed in this book. I really enjoyed her first one, mistakes and all. But this one felt like it was missing something. It seemed pushed and the problems made bigger than what they should of been. I have the 3rd book "Bound", but I don't know if I'm going to read it anytime soon.

Another great book. Not as great as the first one but right up there. Cory starts to heal but in the process of healing she tries to shield everyone she cares for and it ends up hurting her more. Love this series. I'm reading book #3 now.

Sensual, exiting and heart-shattering. This book has everything, action, drama and too hot to read aloud love scenes. I cannot praise this series enough. Amy Lane's Little Goddess Series is by far my favorite and I'm a PR series feind. God, Goddess and other, bless Amy Lane!

Again with the brilliance, Ms.Lane...just take your bow and get back to your lap-top...I need more of your words...especially about Cory, Green, Bracken and Nicky. Write lots more about them. And Adrian. God and Goddess I love this series!!

I really liked the first book in the series, Vulnerable. But this book, the followup, was almost all focused on grief and sex, with the premise that love and sex make the fae heroes and the heroine powerful enough to vanquish their enemies.

hyped. poorly written. instead of growing these characters, Ms. Lane just throws more characters at the reader as a distraction. Maybe I'll go back to it later, but doubt it.

Good action and character lost some of her backbone that annoyed me. I guess I am being a little coldhearted considering the circumstances. Once again shocking sex scenes.
