JACK BASS IS MY KIND OF HERO!

Jack is injured and on the road to a rocky recovery in the start of this military suspense story. His doctor, friends and daughter decide a trip away might help him recover his memory, but instead it only exasperates the PTSD he’s suffered since a botched rescue of kidnapped vets in a previous book.

Soon, the group stumble upon a terrorist organization and stop an attempted bombing, but not without consequences.

This was an enjoyable read, though a bit confusing at first. I would recommend reading the series in order to get the full context of the story.

Jack Bass, is one of my favorite literary characters. He is smart, resilient and sassy. I love the way the characters come to life in the pages of Edwin Dasso’s books. They became your friends and find yourself entangled in their adventures. I hope Dr Jack Bass keeps on going for a long time.

The trouble with PTSD

Jack Bass was critically injured at the slave farm in the previous book . He was trying to save kidnapped vets. This book has a confusing beginning . Was Jack alive or not . That's why four stars. The rest of the book deals with Jack having no memories . Many flashbacks as he is kidnapped twice and tortured in Turkey . Still no memories , just reactions .

I purchased this book because of the amazing reviews on Amazon and oh boy, they were all right. This book is fantastic, the story is so beautiful and full of emotions, I I couldn't put this down until I ended. The characters are so real and so well writen that you can easily find yourself or a friend reflected on them, you start to love and care for them. Amazing book.

Thrilling

Each page leaves you wide-eyes on the edge of your seat! Mr Dasso did a fine job of writing military type excitement! Not my usual genre but the synopsis reeled me in!
I hope the next book I read of his is half as good!
