Never Going Back 2
It has been almost two years since Briana left Bryan and married Malik. Briana’s life has been amazing since marrying Malik, but she can’t seem to keep her ex off of her mind. She thought she had left her past behind with no signs of turning back, then Bryan returns and makes Briana’s new life complicated. Her declaration to never go back is tested when she realizes that her feelings for Bryan are still there. Briana’s friend Imani is experiencing her own struggle with her children’s father Tyson. Since high school, Imani has only loved Tyson. All she ever wanted was for him to step up and be the man that she needed him to be. Although, at times, his intentions are to do right by her and the children, Tyson can’t seem to stay on the right path. Imani gets fed up with Tyson’s bad behavior, and decides that she is done and never going back but things, don’t go according to her plan.

Interesting
Never Going Back 2 by Nia Rich is a learning experience for everyone and myself. It’s heartbreaking, love in blind and abuse. I don’t have anything to say about this book because I’m impressed and speechless about this crazy characters.
I want to throw this book or put it down because I wish Bri needs to wake up and walk away from this situation but I’m not going say anything about this character. Bryan needs to get some help.
I’m ready to read part 3 of this series. Once again, Nia Rich did a good job. I’ll definitely continue to support and read more books from this author.

This book was a continuation of the story of Briana and her process of breaking up with her cheating and abusive boyfriend, Bryan. It also shed light on the relationship that Bryan had with Jade, his ‘side chick’, and Briana’s growing love interest with her friend, Malik.
I think that this story was well written, and I like how the author brought out multiple viewpoints. She didn’t portray Jade, Bryan’s ‘side chick’ in a negative light; instead, she showed how Jade, too, was mainly innocent in Bryan’s web of deception, and how a person who cheats can have an emotionally damaging impact on multiple lives, not just his/her own.
I also enjoyed how the author showed what domestic abuse looked like from the eyes of the victim in an authentic and relatable manner. The reader could easily identify with both Jade and Briana in their respective positions. This is clearly a talent on the author’s part. Great job!

The light!
Malik finally gets the love of his life Briana. Loving, strong man and Malik stepped up to be a wonderful dad to Omari. Imani Bri’s bff is still dealing with her tacky, alcoholic baby dad Tyson. He cannot seem to grow up and Imani is truly going to need to move on especially when another woman says she is pregnant. Mercedes the third bff has caught up with the wrong set of friends and slowly fading from the trios group.Bri has run into Bryan and sparks fly. She is really to gamble everything for this clown. Disappointing but we all have been there but when does she realize he will not change? Tragedy hits the girls and the last famous words are spoken...what is done in the dark.....part 3

Briana has gotten herself into a mess messing with Bryan. Why go backwards when you know how Bryan is? Briana has turned into Bryan. I hate they had her to sleep with Bryan and she’s married to Malik. Malik is the perfect man. Every woman’s dream man to cater to their needs and desires.
Mercedes is too much. King needs to take her to rehab. I don’t like King. Mani I feel sorry for her. I hope she keeps her baby. Pt 3. Briana please do better by Malik.

I am happy to say that part two is just as good as or better than part 1.
This book certainty kept me mesmerized throughout my reading.. I simply cannot wait to read part three. This author rocks!

I couldn't put this book down!!!! This book was so good to me!! It was sad how it ended but still good! Interested to find out what happens with Mercedes! Great job Nia 👍👍
