Take hold of what's in front of you now, because hesitation leads to loss.

Troy Ounce:
With Magical attacks plaguing his city, Troy Lopez must find the culprits before even more people die. Why? Because as the only openly vampire police officer in the world, even after disclosure, he's been put on one of the very few supernatural divisions anywhere. Meaning it's his job.

It also doesn't hurt that the demon whose area he works in has been targeted as well, seemingly by the same group.
If he and his new partner can't figure the case out in time, things might well end up going very badly, indeed.

Liar or is it just telling Stories

This story was very entertaining and so fast a pace that I finished it in a day and a half. I really don't know how it would feel if this was my first time reading a story from this author. The main character is the roommate from the series "Shortcuts"and " Mr Hartley". He has made appearances in Keely's"Mistress of Souls", Eve Benson, and Avery dragon Queens books. He has traveled to The Young Ancients and The Infected worlds. Me personally, I would read all those books and series before even thinking about this series least I would have to reread this one again. So believe the lying Author if you want to about not needing those other books first. I'm still waiting for him to write a literature role playing game LITRPG book.

Troy Lopez is growing into a real player.

The characters Mr. Powers creates are wonderfully complicated and difficult to understand by themselves. The very long and interwoven series of novels, of which these one is but another building block, make a fascinating alternative reality.

The larger series of novels may be read as stand alone books, but are really better when these amazing stories are read as a whole. I am addicted and hope you will be as well.

PR for the win

Sometime a pR stunt can bigger then expected. When the vamps need a pr cop they call Troy. Stopping small time crime that show that we can all work together. Sadly when super powers and magic are involved things tend to blow up.

Another great one in the keeley universe. She’s still my favorite character but knowing all the other players is a good idea as well. Each series keeps me invested to that’s a plus. You’ll enjoy this if you’ve read the others in this series.

This series is actually part of the Multi-verse series or more specifically the Demon-verse part, written under the pseudonym P.S. Power.
Five stars for a story that I can immerse myself in. Originally I would have liked to reserve five stars to really great literature, but that doesn't seem to work for me. Apparently I'm too eccentric for the recommendations system.

Line Walker meets real life as a vampire.

Loved it! Stand alone book but references The Line Walker and the Ancients series background information. Did not try to tie up the Adversaries and too many other series.
