Here’s the problem with myths and legends; they're fiction. At one time, they may have been stories of real people, but over the ages, the story was passed from person to person, so what was once fact, becomes the written fables of those long ago. This is the true story of Conquest and the five horsemen.
Nicolette “Lettie” Osmond made her dying mother a vow: She would find a way to escape with her brother from the oppressive control of her father and The Order of Decay. Eight years later Lettie finally finds the resources and opportunity, but it means putting her faith in the one group of individuals she has been told since birth to never trust.
Connor “Conquest” Apocalos will do anything to protect his new sister and the happiness Dean has found—even kill his own brother if it comes to it. Hunting for Kayne and running Horsemen Hedge Funds, Connor hires an assistant, never expecting to find the one person fated for him.
Conquest must learn to woo a young woman without his power and is failing spectacularly, but will he still want her when he discovers the truth about Lettie and her connections?
First I would like to thank every reviewer who has read one of my books and taken the time to write an honest, respectful, maybe even witty review. Thank you.
You do not have to love every book, but I have noticed serious issues in the review process on Goodreads.
So if you took the extra time to word a review, negative or not, in positive, constructive way, I appreciate the time and effort you put in your response. Unfortunately, I am no longer going to be responding/updating on Goodreads. There was a list of reasons to my decision (see: https://goo.gl/rl7kSe), but I will only be adding new works after release until further notice.

Oh my freaking hat... I can't believe we waited so long for this book, but when I read it, it was so worth the flippen wait.
So much happening and some parts I just wanted to scream and say WTH man... No Freaking Way. Everything about this book will have you thinking how the heck did that happen and what the heck no way and then you get to the end and you will be like:
So very worth it Justine Littleton and I need the next one, cause things are heating up!
It was worth the wait to be on this journey once again. There is a lot of happenings. Fun and not so much of fun. Oh, boy... I even may screamed 'Fuck! NO!' at one time. I was hoping it will turn around. Somehow. Someway. No such luck. But at the end it all made sense. It should have happened, no matter how painful it was. And talking about the ending... I didn't saw that coming. I wasn't even close. And now it makes me to think, what next book will bring?
With a wonderful combination of humour, angst, and romance, "Conquest" is an incredible addition to The Horsemen Series. Not only has the author pushed and developed her characters to ensure a fresh angle, but she also effectively wows the reader with the complexity of the plot.
Written with skill and managing a lovely natural and easy flow, Justine Littleton has produced a book that feels genuine and will no doubt leave her fans eagerly waiting for the next book.
I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
We have an awesome cast of characters in the four horsemen:
Conor AKA Conquest the manwhore prankster.
Dean AKA Death the fun carefree one.
Warren AKA War the broody and angry one.
Falcone AKA Famine the quiet book nerd.
Then there is the fifth brother, the mistake, Kayne AKA Decay. The brother that had
Lettie made a promise to her dying mother and in order to keep that promise she has to go against Lord Decay and The Order. This is a dangerous endeavor, she has no clue if she can trust the Horseman and going undercover as an assistant at the Horseman Hedge Fund could lead to her death.
This book was a solid five star read with humor, family drama and some twists that will give you a brain freeze.
Since reading the first book in the The Horsemen Series and falling in love with the sexy Horsemen I have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment and it was completely worth the wait!!
Justine had me gripped from beginning to the end with this brilliantly written storyline. I laughed and I sobbed and I devoured each and every word.
My love for these men has increased. With such an awesome cast of characters you are given everything from fun, passion, love, family and that sexy violent edge to them. They are not what you would expect from the four Horsemen of the Apocolypse Conquest aka Conor - he's the manwhore prankster Death aka Dean - the fun, carefree one, who has finally found his Mate in Death and is completely loved up War aka Warren - he's the dark, broody, damaged one who it totally protective of his brothers Famine aka Falcone - he's the quieter more sensitive one, the book nerd who wants to keep everyone safe and together, he sees the best in everyone including their fifth Brother Kayne
I don't want to give too much away so I will simply say just read this book. The twists and turns are simply brilliant, it will make you either laugh or cry and you won't see the twists coming!
I can't wait for the next book in this series its going to be very interesting!!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the Author and Hot Tree Publishing

This is the second book in The Horsemen Series. I do recommend you read these in order. They follow the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Each brother gets a book. There is a story line that flows through the books.
This is Connor “Conquests” book.
I love the graphic tees that Connor wears! They will have you laughing.
Lettie is great. She knows she needs the Horsemen to help her.
The Order Of Decay owns her basically. Kayne, or, Decay, is still on the loose.
There are some unexpected parts. *cough cough* Falcone/Fallon *cough cough*
Sorry to be vague, but I don’t want to give anything away.
In most cases sequels are rarely as good as the original, when it comes to books and/or movies. In this case, it's not true. As much as I loved the first book, this one was even better! Connor is the lead brother in this book and he was one of my favorites from book one so i had high hopes, but it even exceeded those. This book had me laughing so much! I highlighted so many fantastic scenes. And there is one fight scene in particular (You'll know which one when you read it) that had me laughing to the point of tears with the images in my mind. There are some serious moments, I did shed a tear or two, so be ready. If you enjoy reading a book with lovable characters, humor, drama, romance, and action, grab this up now! You won't be disappointed.
Oh how I’m so glad I was TOLD to read this series. Absolutely stunning. Lettie is on the oppositions side but desperately wants a way out. It comes from someone she never thought would give it. Conner is the ultimate player. Oh how things change once he meets his mate. Join the Horsemen as they carry on the journey to defeat Lord decay. WARNING This book will make you ugly cry. Laugh out loud and become in a zombie like trance through lack of sleep. Can’t wait for Famine’s story.
First I wanna say I took one star off for some editing errors. If it could’ve been half it would’ve been that. The errors didn’t bother me tons but they were there. The second I took off because I didn’t like the ending. Kinda wish Fallon was the one who it happened to because I really didn’t like her much in this book and it looks like the next one is hers. Sadly my favorite characters are Falcone and Kayne. Which sucks. I enjoyed The two main characters. I did laugh in parts and I did ugly cry.
I’ve been waiting on this baby for ages and let me tell you it was well worth the wait. Justine has upped the ante with book 2 in this series and I can’t wait for the next one. Twists and turns put our Horsemen, their ladies, friends and family through the ringer. I’ll admit I was stunned speechless with tears running down the face in one part. I’m pretty sure the words No, No, No may have been uttered from my lips as well. Great job Justine!
Conquest the second book in the Horsemen Series was an excellent combination of humor, action and romance. Definitely had me laughing out loud at times. Loved Connor and Lettie and all the characters really. Contains an unexpected ending which only makes me want to read more. I do recommend reading the first in the series before reading this
Wow...I didn't see the end coming. It's an amazing book. It was lmao hilarious and omg heartbreaking in the end. I couldn't predict the end and that was rare. I loved this book and the author is amazing. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
"A Must Read" I loved reading Death so much I thought how could Conquest live up to it, but boy how it did I loved it! Yes I was saddened but intrigued as to what the next book will bring... Poo now the wait begins...
Ms. Littleton does it again, weaving a world that is unique and believable. Her new take on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is fantastic. I didn't know how she could followup with Death, but now I'm even more in love with her words.
After so long waiting for the second book to arrived. I am so happy to read it even though my heart is aching for the loss. I cant wait for the third book to come and crossing my fingers its going to be soooooon
I feel whilst this is a good book it's just the spring board for the next books war, decay and famine. I hope for more action, suspense and drama in this series.
