I have an addiction to books. There I said it, isn't admitting it have the battle. I have always read everything I can get my hands on. My greatest joy is writing a review for a fellow author that has blown me away.
When I set down and decided to take the leap to make my life time dream come true and write a book I was terrified, but in a good way. Publishing a book is the most thrilling thing I have ever done. That's with having 14 grand-kids. LOL!

When legal assistant at a law firm in Oklahoma City Sara accidentally bumps into Dillion at a club one night she wanted to give him a piece of her mind, but she didn't expect the instant chemistry that exploded between them that night and instead she ends up giving him a piece of her heart and they fall into an easy comfortable relationship until strange things start to happen around Sara making her feel uneasy and prey to an unknown stalker putting Dillion into protection mode he takes Sara away to his family ranch where their romance blossoms into love. I really like this book, it was such a sweet read. The characters were lovable and the story line interesting and engaging until the final twist that wasn't expected..

Hold on to your britches! I’ve hit another milestone! I’ve actually read and liked a story so far out of my comfort zone, it’s practically nonexistent!

Cowboys, cattle, ranchers, horses! Need I say more? Oklahoma City has some serious stuff going on! There’s a stranger in town who means serious harm. There’s a storm of epic proportions coming. And it’s headed straight to Sara and Dillon’s door!

Can Dillon and his incredibly warm and welcoming family save Sara? She’s always wanted a family. Will she have to give up her dreams to save their lives? Will she make the ultimate sacrifice? Who will survive?

I love Sara and Dillon. They are a sweet couple. This is a really sweet story with just enough dark to keep the blood percolating!

Sara Gibs is a legal assistant for a law firm based in Oklahoma City. While at work one day, she goes out to lunch with two co-workers. Here she meets the love of her life, Dillon, when he accidentally bumps into her spilling oil down the front of her blouse. Instead of giving him the tongue lashing he so rightly deserves, Sara starts flirting with him instead. They both plan to meet again, this time on a date.

Sara and Dillon have quite an attraction to one another. Too bad for Sara she also has a stalker getting in the way of her new found relationship with Dillon. Dillon is concerned so he whisks Sara away to his family ranch to protect her.
Can Sara have the life she deserves with the man of her dreams or could her stalker take away everything Sara has over hoped for?

OBSESSION by Nancy Chastain is a sweet easy light read. The story is character driven for the most part with a bit of a mystery thrown in. The secondary characters are numerous, especially when it comes to Dillon’s family. Dillon’s family was very warm and welcoming to Sara and easily excepted her into the fold. There is not a lot of action in the story, but it wasn’t needed. You know right off the bat who the stalker is or who you think might be the stalker. If you are looking for light read with some mystery you can;t go wrong with picking up a copy of OBSESSION.

Sara is a young woman who due to tragedies has no family left, and although she has 2 really close friends she knows there is something missing. Dillion is a family man, he spends a lot of time with his parents, uncle, aunt and cousin. When Dillon accidentally knocks into Sara, she turns round to tell,him to be more careful but there is an instant attraction between them. They agree to meet up that night at a club and spend the evening together, which leads to spending the weekend with each other!

Strange things start to happen in and around Sara and her home, but she has no idea who would stalk her and why! Dillion and his family become very protective of Sara and whisk her away for a few days where no one can find her. As the week goes on and nothing new happens they decide its time to return home, only whilst Dillion is away working, Sara invites someone to her house and then things turn from bad to worse. Can Dillion find Sara before it’s too late?

I loved this book, it’s has everything a good romantic story needs!

Will Sara get her HEA?

After meeting the man of her dreams weird things started happening to Sara, a crazy stalker appeared out of nowhere. While her love blossomed the stalker became worse.

This is a great mystery and love story all wrapped in one. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed

I've been in the mood for romantic suspense lately so this book came at a perfect time! Dillion and Sara have a connection right off the bat, which causes someone to snap and start causing trouble!
If you like insta-love and suspense, I'd recommend this book! It held my interest the whole way through with a great cast of characters and interesting plot!

Great story. I loved the family bonding that occurs with Dillion’s family when Sara is in trouble. The easy acceptance of Sara and Sam into the family is a nice change. There are a few vanilla, steamy scenes. But the strongest focus is on the family bond, especially between Dillion and Sara. And ‘Nikki’ is a real peace of work! I definitely think you’d enjoy reading this story.

What starts out as a freak collision at lunch ends up with finding your soulmate in this quick but suspenseful read. Sara and Dillon look to have a great chance of a HEA when their immediate sparks finds them looking toward a future together. But when a psycho stalker has their sights set on Sara, will it be an end to their happiness? Or will it be one more hurdle that makes them even closer? With adorable characters and mor3 twists and turns than a rollercoaster this was a great read. Nancy Chastain has the ability to make the reader fall in love with her characters which makes her books must reads.

A quick read of a young, immediate love. A bit of mystery but pretty easy to tell who the stalker is. This is about a young couple who fall immediately in love and the relationship is fast. I think this is geared more to New Adult readers. I really liked the warm and welcoming family interactions with a big focus on family bond which is nice.

Obsession is the first book in the Deadly Obsession series. This is a good romantic suspense story with great characters. Sara and Dillon are meant to be together but someone strongly disagrees. This story has lots of suspense, danger, family loyalty, and love.

I liked the concept of the story but I felt that the relationship of the characters was way too rushed. I’m the type that prefers a build up, I am just not one to enjoy a story where things happen quickly so please do not take this review as anything other than my opinion. Had this been a 300+ page book I really feel like I would have loved it!
