Two years ago, detective Mallory Black’s world was ripped to pieces when her daughter was murdered by a serial killer with an unspeakable fetish and the truly twisted desire to carry it out.
Now the man who killed Mallory’s daughter is back, and if she doesn't act fast another child will die.
Jasper Parish is a vigilante who punishes killers trying to escape traditional justice. Relying on the psychic visions of his daughter Jordyn, he wages war from the shadows, doing what the police can’t — or won’t — do.
Two years ago, he failed to save Mallory Black’s daughter. Now is Jasper’s chance for redemption.
Hero, killer, and vigilante are on a collision course in a world where there is no justice ... unless you’re willing to risk everything to make your own.
No Justice is the first in a pulse-pounding new series for fans of Dexter, Silence of the Lambs, and Seven.

I limped along till I got over halfway in this story but in the end the many, many errors throughout had me beat. I'm keeping it in my library in the hope that one day a revised edition might become available and have had a proper editing job done on it. It staggers me people do the BIG job of imagining and creating a book yet let it get totally let down with not getting it proofread before it's put out for human consumption !! And since we have two authors here, surely one of them can edit it properly ?? Such a bloody shame as I WAS enjoying the story but so many mistakes just distracted me too often, wore me down and it became a chore instead of a pleasure. I wanted to give Mallory a good shake at times as, the more I read, the less sympathetic I felt about her, too !! Sentences like this needing a comma-"Would you mind if we came inside looked around ?" Apostrophe mistakes all over as well. This appears to be an issue anyone putting out a book in a digital format just cannot get right since it's the mistakes I see most frequently. The biggest single issue was words just dropped from sentences-"....Mal asked if he driving a sheriff's car," "...pelting the roof her car....," ".....then turned the TV," "....in a nightstand filled with a bunch them" and then words added, "Tears streamed from his Jeff's eyes....." Woman and not women, places where a hyphen is needed like date raping, still tired or mornings after. This passage was a sloppy mess altogether-"...Mal spotted the two deputies waiting in a parked across from her in the unmarked sedan" and I didn't understand this one-"......he checked for any signs of a shed or other structure that could ruin a child"......Huh ??? The dialogue is very blokey, I'd say, and if you don't like bad language you need to take a pass. It does have some humour-filled moments which I liked and I wanted to learn what happened, too, which is why I'll retain a copy in the hope of a more professional presentation being released at some point.
Intense book! Yes, it has a truly evil villain but you need that to define your heroes. And this book looks hard at what makes a hero. Well defined characters pulls us into the story, a story filled with twists and turns. We get a supernatural mystery in an otherwise realistic setting but that only adds to the tension. I couldn't put this book down!
I really enjoyed this book. There were several good twists that had me guessing. Just about the time I thought I knew what was going to happen, something different happened and left me guessing. This is a good thing, as I hate predictable stories. The twist at the end, I didn't even remotely see coming. Well done gentlemen.
I honestly have mixed feelings about this book. Parts I found enjoyable especially towards the end when the story started to get more exciting and we learn some interesting information about Jasper. However, the beginning of the book while not boring wasn't very thrilling. I might read the next book in the series, but I won't be vastly disappointed if I don't have time to get to it for awhile
free ebook but im totally confused about the order to read this series in it doesnt seem like this is the first in the series as it says #1 because the last book mel was married and had a daughter. the last book was about a retired cop who had his daughter raped and murdered and the killer never caught. he killed his neighbor that was raping his daughter and mel was the woman cop who thought he had killed his own daughter
this one starts with her daughter getting kidnapped and killed. she divorced her husband and won the lottery and quit her job as cop
the year following her daughters murder (they never caught him) the killer left a gift on her porch on her daughters birthday. she didnt tell the cops. this year she was waiting for him with a gun, but she had taken pills and fell asleep. he got in the house, left the gift on the table and found her sleeping with the gun which he picked up and pointed at her head but didnt shoot her. she had cameras all over her house and saw it the next morning when she woke up. she had to call the cops as he left a thumb drive and she needed to see whats on it without putting a virus in her computer
the girl tried to escape and stabbed his hand with a knife. he got mad and locked her in the bathroom in the dark while he was at work all day
the dad with the daughter who could see things followed the killer on a bus to the school where he worked, he stole his wallet, got his address and went there to rescue the girl. but the man living there, with the name and address that was in the wallet, was the wrong person. he had a gun and was forced to shoot him. the wife came home. he ran, he felt very bad he killed a innocent person.
the former cop with the murdered daughter is on drugs and alcohol. she feels the cops dont believe the 2 kidnappings are connected. she calls a reporter but it blows up on her.
the man with the daughter who could see in the future, no one else could see her
the man with the kidnapped girl took her to a underground bunker when they were on to him
the man who molested him and his sister when they were young gave him the bunker. the man with the daughter tortured and killed him to get the info of where he was. he told the cop and they all descended on him . the woman cop went down there in exchange for the little girl, but he kept both of them and took them to her house where he was going to torture and kill both of them
but the man with the daughter got there in time, rescued the girl and shot him before leaving thinking he was dead but he wasnt and they arrested him
he was the one who put the winning lottery ticket in her purse

Great book! Hard to put down at night, you just have to keep reading!
This book really moves along with the horrible story of a monster who takes little girls and does despicable things to them, then kills them before their 10th birthday. The characters were deftly drawn, very relatable, so easy to empathize with and care about the future for them each. I wanted to keep reading about their stories even after I’d finished the book - I wanted more! This is the true sign of a good book to me, one I never wanted to end because I wanted, no needed, to know more about what happens to the characters, how they manage to pick up the pieces of their lives and continue living them. If you can tolerate reading a book about this topic, then this is a definite good choice - fast paced, well written, fully-formed main characters, an intriguing plot. You won’t go wrong choosing this book!
We have three focus points in this novel - one protagonist, one antagonist and one that is a combination of both. I have to admit, the combo guy is my favorite. This story is full of twists and unexpected turns. It's an uncomfortable topic. I suggest people who are sensitive to what they read might want to skip this one. If you want an exciting story with surprises you don't see coming, then read this book. Don't read ahead, please. Let it unfold as written because the writer did a wonderful job at giving us just a little at a time. The story is wrapped up - thank goodness. I have a personal aversion to 'cliffhangers'. However there are some questions to carry through to the next book - which I intend to read. This author is a keeper!
This book grabbed my interest immediately. I'd never read anything by these authors before, but took a chance because the description sounded like my kind of story. I finished it in two afternoons. It's hard to give a thorough review since I don't want to give anything away, but I would definitely recommend this book if you like a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I'll be looking for the other books in this series. Can't wait to learn more about these characters, especially the vigilante.
Ok, first off I love Sean and Dave (Johnny too). Just had to say that first, I try to read everything they write, the breadth of their imagination astounds me. Anyway, this is a total edge of your seat thriller, well drawn characters and very scary situations. There is only the tiniest pinch of the supernatural, which if you know them shows remarkable restraint. This is a great thriller!
Again, blown away by the combined talents of Sean and Dave! No Justice set the hook and reeled me in; I HAD to keep reading and finished in one sitting! Strong plot with surprise twists, along with a taste of the paranormal and well developed and likeable characters set a breakneck pace from start to finish. Although the first book in a new series, it is a standalone story, no cliffhanger. Give it a go....you won't regret it!
It’s a good first book for the beginning of a series. The plot is good although the subject matter is pretty hard going all the way. It’s the little things that the authors have added along the way that continues to pull you forward through the book. I look forward to moving on through the series to see what the minds of the authors will think of next.
I have read ALL of Wright and Platt's books and I have to say that this book is my favorite out of all of them. I couldn't put the book down! I loved the characters and am looking forward to reading more about them in future books. I also like that this and future books in the series are/will be standalones. No cliffhangers!
It is very hard to say much, without giving away the story! This is a multi layered rollercoaster of a book that I could not put down, which takes the reader outside their comfort zone and into dark places, which is just where the characters are found! Great mix of genre, a and a superbly written story. Can't wait for book two 👍👍👍👍👍
I already really enjoy these writers and their whole writing posse. This was an interesting story and I'm looking forward to following the characters into the series. The story grabbed me quickly and had some nice twists and turns, and just enough disturbing aspects without being too gross considering there are children involved. Definitely a recommended read.
At first I thought this book was very boring but I kept plodding along, and the further I got into the book I was hooked. The characters were live, and you could feel for them. Some parts were a little disjointed but I think that would be expected. I can't wait to read the next one.net
Really intense scenarios in this book. Enjoyed reading it even though it got upsetting at times. The serial killer..omg..How I wanted to kill him myself. Liked the characters in the book. The writing is great, really pulls you in and makes you feel emotional for this parents living hell. Now just HAVE to find out what's next in the series.
Emotional, violence, evil, self-pity, self-righteous, illogical, and so on. Imagination, magic and unfairness, anything that this world could offer, the book keeps you reading but the evil won more sympathy than the heroine who is so self centered, self absorbed and self righteous.
Really struggled with this... I personally think the author(s) got the tone completely wrong; gratuitously depicting child rape, trying to get the reader to sympathise with a protagonist who tortures victims, deus ex machina that I found hard to shrug off. All this aside, the story simply wasn't tight enough and had more holes than a colander. Positives: I liked Mallory.
This is the first time I've read a book like this... It was raw in the truth of it. From the sick freaks who break the families lives to the bitter knowledge that men are really out there and to the real reason you should know that it could be your child in the crosshairs of these freaks. So keep them safe and let them know they are loved.
Good read...thought provoking...I liked that the authors gave insight into all the characters bringing them into full color across the pages. Good job writing this difficult subject.
Amazing! I read almost all books by Sean and David and this one is one of the most thrilling and disturbing. All the characters are well developed. The twist at the end came totally unexpected. Can't wait for the second book in a series.
Long time fan of Sean Platt and this doesn’t disappoint! I love how the story unfolds and, as always, is extremely well written. Great twist at the end I totally didn’t see coming!!
Loved the book . kept me reading late into the night, then got up and finished it. I would recommend this book to any reader who enjoys a good book. I will read more of your work.
New writers for me. I can't handle reading too many psychological thrillers at a time. They give me nightmares so when I do I want to read a well written one with a good storyline. This one surpasses my criteria
Save a couple hours because this book will have you hooked from page one! Take a cop who recently suffered the worse loss imaginable, add a vigilante, and a psychotic ,pedophile killer and don’t turn off the lights!
Disturbing story line, but intense and dramatic. Mallory, Jasper and Jordyn are in this until the end. Surprises around every corner. I will have to continue with this series!
I loved this book and characters. Unexpected twist, but so good. This is a standalone, but I’m glad there is more of Mal and Jasper. On to the next book!! Definitely recommend
This story kept you on your toes until the end. Lots of twist and turns. The main character Mal was a troubled person. Not sure what to think of Jasper. Can't wait to read more from this author.
