I’m definitely not giving one to Adam Walker. He humiliated me in high school. We’re done.
I don’t care if he’s older now. I don’t care if he’s so gorgeous it makes my heart ache. I don’t care if the sight of him makes me want to tear off my chef’s hat and the rest of my clothes and straddle him right here in the kitchen.
I don’t.
But one taste can’t hurt…can it?

Perfect for a lunch hour escape, this short story is wonderfully entertaining. This is a second chance love story of a woman who was treated unfairly in high school but a boy she could really love. He got caught up in high school politics and popularity and has regretted it ever since. Nine years later, while working on the most important care of her career, in walks her past with her heart still in his hands.
I loved the characters in this story and their ability to look past the past and become what they were always meant to be. I loved the fact that this took place in a bakery and how the author incorporated the cake as a third character. I was sweet and hot. The car scene: wow.
This was such a fun read, it was entertaining, with a bit of drama. I would recommend this short story to anyone who needs a break. I believe that these short stories are part of a mini series of fast, steamy reads that are sure to entertain. I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
I received an review copy of The Baker's Bad Boy novella and this is my freely given, honest review. The story is written in first person POV which is not my personal favorite but if you can get past that it was a really sweet novella. It's about a baker named Valerie that is getting a cake ready for a wedding tonight. It's a very important client that can help make or break her business so she wants everything to be perfect. It's Christmas Eve at the store and she should have closed the door but as she is thinking that thought the front door slams, causing her to startle and drop the cake! Who would walk in but her old boyfriend from high school that dumped her! It's been years since she's seen Adam and if she never had seen him again it would have been too soon. Now will Christmas magic help these two out tonight? You have to read this sexy and sweet novella to find out!
The Bakers Bad Boy Second chance romance about an almost former couple. Adam humiliated Valerie in high school. They were caught kissing by the popular crowd and Adam dissed her. Nine years later and he shows up at her bakery on Christmas Eve. What reason could Adam possibly have for being there? Especially on one of the most important days of her business, a wedding cake for another popular person from high school, that could make her or break her with just a few words! I voluntarily received an ARC for an honest review. These short stories are perfect for anyone who doesn't have time to read the more full length stories by Amelia Wilde! I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a quick romance fix!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed this really quick read from the Get Wilde box set. The story is one about a second chance at love between Val and Adam. Two people who dated in high school and meet up again nine years later when Adam enters Val's bakery when she is boxing up a wedding cake she needs to deliver. Adam made a mistake nine years ago that broke Val's heart. He has come back to apologize, explain and try to win her over again. This was a hot and steamy read. Just enough content to make it a great read. Loved it!
The Baker's Bad Boy is another 5 star from Amelia Wilde that is short, sweet and delish! Valerie has made quite the life for herself running a bakery she is proud of! Putting the finishing touches on her newest creation..she hears the front bell jingle and a very familiar face walks into her life..Adam. The boy that left her heartbroken in high school. I loved seeing their story fall together and Wilde made it so that I had all the feels in this one! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book!
Love, love, love this sweet little story. I loved the way Adam just jumped right in to help Val when he could see she was in a bind. So sweet the way they talked things out while they worked, and the way he stands by her as she delivers the cake. And the ride home! So hot! If stories were desserts, this one wouldn't be a multi-tiered wedding cake, rather it's a cream-filled chocolate concoction covered in buttercream icing and just enough for two. Absolute perfection. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
The Baker's Bad Boy is perfect for a quick lunch read. Valerie is working on the wedding cake of her career. It can make or break it. She's getting ready to store them for delivery when in walks a blast from her past. Adam Walker startles her and she drops part of the wedding cake! She wants nothing to do with him, but this guy is sweeter than the icing on the cake. He jumps in to help her get the cake done on time, to Val's surprise. This sweet story definitely gets hot real quick! I don't want to spoil the rest so pick it up and enjoy ;) I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** This was a cute second chance story. Nine years ago, Adam embarrassed Valerie by turning his back on her. Now he reappears Christmas Eve at Val's shop as she's about to deliver a wedding cake, giving her quite the fright & causing her to ruin some layers. Though she still holds a grudge against him, can she forgive him & get her cake delivered in time? A quick sweet treat for Christmas or any day of the year!
Adam and Val had feelings for each other back in high school but never got together as a pair.
Nine years later they meet again in Val’s bakery when a startled Val drops parts of a wedding cake and Adam helps her with repairing the damage. All those old feelings rekindle and both of them realize that they are still in love with each other…
This is another heartwarming and very well written novella by the very talented Amelia Wilde!
The Baker's Bad Boy by Amelia Wilde was a good quick read. Valerie is a baker who is preparing a wedding cake. The client is vert important and everything has to go right. The sound of the closed door slamming startled her and the cake goes all over the floor. Unfortunately it's Adam Walker who hurt her in high school. I enjoyed reading their story about tryibbg to fix the perfect cake and rekindling the past.
The Baker's Bad Boy (Get Wilde Book 2) by Amelia Wilde is an excellent read. This is a cute, funny and spicy quick read. Loved the storyline and the characters. A wonderful second chance romance that is quite emotional and touching. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.
A hot tension building fast-paced reunion set within a bakery rebuilding a cake what could more could we possibly need? Loved this "sweet" shorties story. The 2nd book in the Get Wilde collections is a definitely a keeper! I voluntarily read an advanced readers collection of this book
This was a really quick lunch time read! Val and Adam got their second chance when he walks into her bakery one day, just as she is in dire need of an extra pair of hands. They're able to reconnect, though Val isn't so willing to give Adam another chance at first. Good steamy quickie!
