Never ever start a paranormal romance about mates with the guy getting hard over some rando and trying to screw a bunch of floozies. It ruins it before it even starts. In a mate romance, the only female he should be attracted to is his mate. And the chapter before he meets her, he shouldn’t be trying to screw everything that moves.

It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm only half awake so this may not be the best review, but this was such a fantastic dtory that I just couldn't go to bed until I finished it. This is what I get for starting a book so late in the day.
I really have fallen for this series and it's characters. In this book we catch up with Hunter, who we met in the last story. Hunter is a playboy with deep pockets who flaunts both his money and sexual exploits as boadges of honor. He is a confident man who, while boasting about all his 'deeds', still manages to be a good guy. After learning that an old friend of his passed away, Hunter heads back to Texas to pay his respects and check in on things there. Once he arrives, he learns that his old friend's ranch was passed down to his next of kin, which happen to be a New Yorker named Kia who doesn't know the first thing about ranching. Hunter decides to help get the ranch back on it's feet in an attempt to honor his late friend's legacy.
Kia, a fashion photography from New York, never met her great-uncle Daniel before, so she was really surprised when she learned she'd inherited his ranch in Texas. Being a city slicker she doesn't have a clue what to do with a ranch. She initially thougth that maybe she should sale it, but Hunter, her hot neighbor, makes her a deal she finds pretty appealing. He's going to spend the next month helping get the place running, with the stipulation that if the ranch doesn't turn a profit by the end of the month then he won't stand in her way of selling it. She decides she doesn't have anything to lose.
The two quickly realize the amazing chemistry inferno that blazes between them, but they both decide that a romantic entanglment isn't wise, especially with her leaving soon and his secret. Fate has a way of laughing at us when we try to make plans for ourselves, and that's exactly what happens to Kia and Hunter. The two quickly fall into the hay together. Everything is going good until a greasy buisnessman shows up wanting to buy the place. Danger quickly follows once Kia refuses to sale.
The characters of this story really were likeable, at least all except Bradley. I enjoyed going on this journey with them and I hope the auhtor has plans for another books. I would love to see what happens with the rest of the unit. Well done to the author!

This is the first I've read in this series and I loved it. Hunter, a war veteran, was bitten and changed into a wolf shifter, has a different view on life (and women) than his wolf who he can talk with. On hearing of the death of the man who was like a father to him he goes back to find that the man's unknown niece has inherited it.
Kia is a city girl who knew nothing of her Great-Uncle until she is told of his death and her inheritance; so goes to find out what she can do with the ranch she now owns. While dealing with the horses she meets Hunter who persuades her to take a chance on the country life, and him.
As they begin to give in to the attraction between them, they also start to find out more of what has been going on. Was her Great-Uncle's death an accident and what is scaring the horses at night? Things then take a turn when Hunter's secret life is revealed.
A quick paced story, which I have thoroughly enjoyed reading (and couldn't put down). It's part of a series but easy to read as a standalone and I would definitely recommend it.

Whats a man to do when one half of him likes the naughtier type of girl but yet his wolf wants the type of girl you can bring home to mom. Well as it happen Hunter has the worst wingman ever!!!
I really liked Kai in this book. I liked that she was loyal, trustworthy, determined and someone who wouldn't back down. I could feel the internal struggle she had during the book. One day a call comes in about a distant relative she never knew and she is expected to completely uproot her life. I loved that she seemed to know when to stand up to Hunter and also when to let him have his way. To me, this makes a woman very strong.
I liked Hunter, I liked that he was a loyal neighbor and friend. I also liked how he was carrying, protective and when Kai needed it, a gentleman. He seemed to be so in tune with her to know when she needed him to be more gentle and when he needed to be more aggressive.
The only part of Hunter that was a little frustrating to me what his lack of using his shifter abilities. For a shifter book, he was human for most of the book.

This is Hunter and Kia's story . I love just how strong Kia is in her life she knows what she wants but is strong enough to know when to bend . Hunter is a bad boy sweetheart ( you just have to read the book to understand what I mean by that !) . There is so much going on in this book with danger then it will make you laugh and then you are on the edge of your seat reading !! I love the way this is action packed from the beginning to to end ! Sedona Venez's writing seems to get stronger with each book ! This is so well written that if will become a favorite !! Now this is a quick but filled read and I have to say that Hunter is one heck of a shifter/man he has it all going on ! I so can not wait for more from Sedona Venez !! I recommend this book and author to everyone !!

OMG !! Kia and Hunter’s story is Hot !! I do mean Hot and meant for paranormal romance lovers over the age of 18 !! Hunter is used to getting what he wants and he wants Kia, usually his inner beast is unaffected by the women he chooses to bed, but this time something is very different about Kia and his wolf wants her too !! Not sure what’s happening, but still wanting Kia in his bed, Hunter will do backflips to get her there and his wolf will do anything to keep her there !! A soon to erupt scandal may cost them it all, can Playboy Hunter grow up emotionally enough to admit the truth to himself in enough time to save both their reputations ? Read Operation Wolf: Hunter to find out !! 5⭐️‘s and can’t wait for the next book !!

I thought this book was an amazing story. Hunter is a war veteran, who was bitten and turned into a wolf shifter. When he finds out about his mentor and father figure's death, he comes home only to find out that an unknown woman has inherited the ranch. Kia never knew her great-uncle and just had some vague memory of her mother talking about an uncle. At first she is just going to sell the ranch but Hunter convinces her to give it a shot at running it. There is an instant attraction between them. Do they act on the attraction? Was the death of her great-uncle an accident or not? Do other events happen to make them suspicious? Do they have a HEA? Read the book and find out. You won't regret it.

It is a quick moving story and I enjoyed the storyline. Kai is a city girl and not prepared for a run down ranch. Hunter is a successful businessman and he is used to getting any woman he wants. She challenges him and it leads to a heated relationship.
While it is part of a series, it is very easy to read as a standalone.

This was another great story in the series. It follows Hunter, the billionaire wolf-hybrid, as he meets his mate. His mate, Kia, is NYC fashion photographer who inherits a ranch in Texas from a relative she didn't know she had. When they first meet the sparks fly and their chemistry is palpable through the pages. There also is a bit of a mystery to be solved in the story. It has a little bit of action and lots of love as well as emotion. The beginning of the story had me laughing. And although their personalities clash, I loved how they were able to compromise and work together and how ultimately they got their HEA.

Operation Wolf: Hunter (Wolf Elite #3) by Sedona Venez is an excellent book and a great addition to this series. Book focuses on the story of Kia and Hunter. I just love this couple. Kia is one very lucky curvy girl and Hunter is one sweet, smooth talking devil. You could really feel their attraction and the heat from their chemistry. A very enjoyable, steamy, passion filled shifter romance that I found to be highly entertaining and engaging. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Hunter is a hybrid-shifter, bitten and turned into a wolf. He's also in charge of 20 ranches in Texas and a happy bachelor. Kia is a city girl, fiercely independent and on her own for most of her life. She gets a call about the death of a mostly unknown uncle and leaves for Texas to settle his affairs. What happens next is spark inducing as both of them are hard headed and neither pull punches or back down. They wind up working together to restore the ranch and fight off the bad guys.

It was pretty good but I think it left out some things that should have been told. Is there going 2 b another book after this 1? It should b all of them getting a book. Kia went 2 TX 2 deal with a farm she had no idea how 2 run and hopefully find out info of her great uncle she never met b4. But along with that she found Hunter a man that wanted answers about her uncle. Can he find it with her? I'm surprised about what happened toward the end.but I feel like it left off so much and didn't finish the story like it should have.

When he finds out about the death of his friend, and father figure, he will rush back to Texas only to find out that his friend's ranch was inherited by a woman he didn't know existed. Hunter decides to investigate the circumstances of his friends death while he and Kia work on the ranch. Kia enjoys working on the ranch, and Hunter, but when his secret is revealed she won't want anything to do with him, and will make plans to leave Texas. Kia and Hunter are sizzling hot characters and fall for each other quickly, but Hunter's secret may be too much for Kia to overcome. Fantastic romance with a little suspense and a happily ever after. I love this book and this series.

I really enjoyed reading this book . I loved Hunter and Kia together they were perfect for each other. Hunter could be sweet and a gentleman but could also be a protective alpha bad boy. Kia was a strong woman who wouldn't back down. These two had intense attraction and hot chemistry. I would recommend to anyone who likes a good steamy shifter romance. Another great story by this author. I loved the interaction between Hunter and Kia. Both are strong characters who have been through a lot of trauma and stress over the years. Watching their romance blossom is a highlight of this book. The action scenes and mysteries add to the story and make it well worth the read. I look forward to reading the next book in this wonderful series.

I really liked Hunter and Kia's story. Kia has strength that I like and that bit of sass to keep Hunter on his toes. He's alpha, and I love how he wants to make things right on the ranch for his long ago friend. Good flow, a little mystery and a connection between them.

The third book in the Wolf Elite series is just as captivating as the first two. Hunter and Kia have explosive chemistry but they don't always agree. This story moves from danger and intrigue to humour to sexy interludes and keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. This is a great series and I hope to see more.

Hunter really is an arrogant ass and Kia wasn’t very likeable either with her attitude and manner.
She did come across as more interested in the money.
These two had nothing in common except sex. If his wolf hadn’t decided it wanted her, they wouldn’t have ended up together.
Ended abruptly without answers to important questions.
Nothing was proved about Daniels death, was the developer arrested?
I had read book one ages ago and wasn’t overly thrilled.
