After visiting a house of horrors that consists of a series of increasingly disturbing rooms, a young woman returns home only to realize everything has changed.
A fun horror story with interesting elements, I liked the anticipation of not knowing what the next door will bring (activates the fear of the unknown)

This here is brilliant it shows that creepypastas also got a life.
An incredible idea severely bogged down by really poor writing. Twists like the protagonist arriving home only to find more rooms to the No-End House are really clever, and so is making the "final" room a clone of himself he has to murder, but repeated failures to show-don't-tell (On multiple occasions, the narrator flat-out states "I was feeling suicidal" or "I wanted to puke" which is the least scary way to create horror) make the affair so much less scary. It's a story I really want to root for because I think it's such a good idea with some moments that could be so scary, but it just falls short from an amateur writer.

i listened & read this through the CreepCast with Wendigoon & Papa Meat.
i really enjoyed this. the idea was unique & i loved the subtle hints towards Dantes Inferno.
the writing was juvenile but that’s to be expected considering the fact it started as a Creepypasta. well done to the writer in an intriguing short story that grabbed attention quick & wasted no time. i can overlook the writing with how different the plotline was & the nods to Dante’s Inferno. overall, 3.5 stars!
very fun :) liked all of the religious elements. narration is good enough for me and i thought the horrors were cool, the ending was perfect. so yeah i had fun with this :)
One of my favorite endings in this genre. Honestly dont remember part 2 well and part 3 is unfinished I believe. Just stop after the first because it is really good.
Some bits do feel under explained or like they could be written a little better. I honestly prefer the lack of world building and answers to questions (cough cough part 3 isnt good) because that isn't the focus of it. Simple premise to then explore more interesting things.
Definitely up there in the genre but not the best which makes sense given the time this was written.
This is a short but powerful story. I just love how something very simple can get so complex. We start with what looks like a simple haunting house, but it soon becomes obvious that it's much more than that. We get inside, and then we don't know what the hell is going on. The ending is perfect and typical of this kind of stories, we don't know exactly what's going on, or what the hell happened, but that's perfect.
3.0/5.0 Creepcast brought this old horror story to my attention and I did enjoy reading it. One of my early horror experiences was 1408, and if you are familiar with that story, you will be familiar with the tropes and elements this story uses. And its not a rip off in a bad way, but it does mean that, for me, I am overly familiar with where the story is going. But hey, its a good ending twist either way.
I listened to the short story + commentary on it through a podcast for a long car ride and enjoyed it. The story was pretty predictable, but considering it’s an older story that has been retold makes sense. Not too bad, it made the drive go by faster, but I think that was the commentary’s doing
It was.... Fine. Got into action way too quickly and basically no history on the house whatsoever. Just that people don't make it past the 9th room. The description of the rooms and the atmosphere was well done. There just wasn't enough content.
liked 1 hour -i read this a long time ago and then listened to it in audio format recently, it's cool. i dig -the rooms all have some unique things going on, the ideas are all well executed
Another one through Creepcast. A super quick read with simple writing. I was interested to see what was behind each door and how they rapidly progressed. Life long trauma for a $500 gift card lol.
This is another one I would have to re-listen to/ read this one to give a more fair rating. I wasn’t entirely locked in while listening to this on CreepCast.
Pure mental torture for the character in this story. The fear of the unknown played a huge part in this. LOVED this CreepCast episode. The ending of the story was a chefs kiss for me.
It started out so uniquely terrifying, surreal and hellish, but by the "end" it gets too Joss Whedon for me. It was never finished, so you are left hanging with so many unanswered questions. Still, worth checking out. Just keep the unsatisfying ending in mind.
