Adam has one mission: Hunt down the Magate Order and recover his kidnapped crew before they are lost forever.
Unfortunately, his life has been bound to the Prime Valkyrie, and if Adam doesn’t submit to her powerful father, he’ll be executed.
But the genetically engineered Marine submits to no man, and the king of the Vaish Overlord Clan is about to find out what happens when you try and kill a tiger.
The first books by this author I read was the Destroyer series. If I had not read Destroyer I probably would never have touched the Star Justice series. If I had known that the SJ series featured a telepathic space witch/vampire and a weretiger, I never would have touched the SJ books without familiarity with his other writing.
Prime Valkyrie seemed a bit shorter than the previous books in this series, but perhaps that was because I tore through in a day. I like that the author understands opportunity cost or to put it simpler there is no free lunch. Every time Adam shifts form it costs him in terms of calories. I think perhaps the author is low-balling the amount of calories required by such a large man to shift form.
I am glad to see Adam eating more in this book and I appreciated the good descriptions of his meal with the Prime Valkyrie. The eating scenes were well written, not bogging the story down as they could have if written by a lesser author. Some readers found the time spent with Adam and Madalena eating was wasted space between action scenes and skipped forward to the next ass-kicking action scene.
I did not feel the time spent eating was wasted as the scene laid quite a bit of background information that was craftily woven into the scene. I believe that the readers who skipped the eating scenes missed on crucial information for later.
I have overindulged in Akvavit (Scandinavian spelling) trying to match Scandinavian friends. Reading Adam and Madalena polishing off two bottles caused me to wince in sympathy from my memorable hangover sharing one bottle of Akvavit with Scandinavian friends.
Despite my enjoyment of the eating scenes, I still do not think that Adam eats enough. In the field, if situations permitted, we were encouraged to snack our MREs included several individual snacks for that purpose. The average soldier in the field needs about 5,000 calories a day; I imagine Adam’s caloric requirements because of his size and abilities are significantly higher.
Adam should carry high calorie and high protein snacks that he can snack on when in tiger form. I would fear that Adam might suffer rhabdomyolysis (rhabdo to most folks) and kidney failure if he continues failing to eat correctly.
I loved the fact that Adam purrs when he is happy. I have heard several great cats purr most recently a cheetah. I have always been amazed at how loud that purr is and I imagine Adam’s purr echoing in the tube of the space station when he held his women again. I also loved the fact that Adam licks the face of his women, something that all cats do showing affection.
The way Adam treats his women in tiger form reminds me of a favorite bio-punk science fiction series Moreau by S. Andrew Swann. I am not sure the author wants Adam grooming his women with his tiger tongue in the same manner as the moreau soldiers do. Nohar, the main character in the Moreau series, marveled at where human women have hair. I am fairly certain that Adam knows where a woman’s hair is and why.
I really dislike Madalena she needs to be brought down several pegs. I know she is supposed to be this badass Viking woman, but I foresee a showdown between her and Eve in the future. I hope that Eve kicks Madalena's ass. Eve can listen to Madalena without all the baggage that affects Adam. Cutting through Madalena’s BS will be a benefit to Adam and we can learn if she truly cares for him or is just using Adam as her furry boy toy. Hopefully next book Madalena has a good come-to-Jesus moment.
I really hope that we do not have to wait another three books for Adam to get laid again. Now that his women are back, I hope that they rattle the walls of Persephone in spite of Madalena. Even better if the twins join in and all five of them shred the sheets.
Very few men would have resisted the availability of so many beautiful women. Many men would have screwed as many of the available Viking women as he could. I like that Adam has principles and is not governed like so many men by his dick.
Madalena’s Viking crew needs to pull the sticks from their ass and get with the program. I think Madalena’s crew is hindering her bonding with Adam, as they are driving a wedge between him and her. Perhaps Madalena is being so persistent to bed Adam is because she like most beautiful women is not used to being refused.
I am looking forward to the next book, hopefully it is not several years down the road, such as the next Destroyer book.

I think that M S Earle outdid himself with book six in the series! Poor Adam doesn't stand a chance. He's got women coming out of the woodwork wherever he turns. Madalena, the Prime Valkyrie, finding herself in front of her father the king, does her beset to help Adam be accepted. Unfortunately, her best isn't good enough and Adam finds himself marooned on a planet having been told that he has to complete Odin's rite in order to be accepted by the Vaish. Madalena's father hard stacked the deck against him though. Not to worry! Our intrepid hero, with the help of three women, fights his way through all obstacles alive or otherwise! Adam's main objective is to get back to Eve, Zea and the twins. This series reminds me of early Robert Jordan books but without the bondage of women. Earle treats women with far more respect. Adam and his crew somehow avoid thousands of bullets flying their way while, at the same time, killing all who stand in their path. Adam occasionally gets injured but regenerates quickly enough for it not to matter. His manly mien shrugs off the pain as being inconsequential. Rollicking good space opera! The only problem now is the time waiting for the next book!
Ok Michael Earle, enough with the women. Your up to somewhere around 55-60 range. Granted some are jump offs, but 5 full time love interests, not counting Persephone herself. Are you trying to kill Adam? Each one is a weapon in her own right. I think your next series should play fair and have your main character a woman with too many men! (That's my fantasy, especially if one of them can mow the yard!) Thank you for using the word discombobulated, havn't heard that one for a while! I love this book. It was fun, smooth, and very entertaining. Probably the best in this series, so far. Keep it up, and thank you for publishing Star Justice Bk 5 and 6 so close together. Made more sense.
More women.. and.. more women... in this book Adam is just trying to rescue his women from when he cut his hands off omg still laughing lolololol. Then he tries once again to help someone and gets stabbed in the back...fights through Hell and Back and now I am so betting on a catfight.. Anyways one of Miss Primes’s own blood plots Adam’s Ship for their home world instead of rescuing the women. These new people believe in the Norse Gods and are 3 planets full of people, tech, food..etc ruled by a ruthless King who oh by the way happens to be Miss Primes Dad.. akward Family if I ever saw one... we also get more background on Tigermen.. and Persephone like ships.. Yea more pieces to the puzzle of the world. The people who worship Odin are also magical.. so they fit with the space opera paranormal theme. I don’t know if I trust our new characters after the King LIED and is afraid of snow leopards..although Adam is a Tiger. Anyways as many things that go wrong now There are many new characters 3 ladies Adam met while trying to get out of Odin’s Trial who were Thralls (slaves basically).. which we all know gets Adams undies in a bundle because he can’t stand slave traders and I don’t blame him.. Zea and Eve also made 40 new friends and ADAM picked up an additional 10 from trying to find Zea, Eve and the Twins... Plus now Miss Primes crew..=a lot of women.. and they all meet at the end so...again can’t wait to find out what happens next? Will Adam go back to complete the Trial? Visit Juliette on Queen’s Hat St.. I mean he just made more enemies lol or finally meet up with those world devouring monsters? Or maybe like I said there will be a big catfight among all the women who have piled up...
The story begins when our protagonist is taken by Valkyrie, the daughter of the king, to face an impossible trial. From the very start, the reader is plunged into a world where the odds are stacked against our hero, facing not only a challenging trial but also numerous attempts on his life orchestrated by the king himself. Their relationship is complicated, marked by a lack of trust and forced submission.
As the protagonist embarks on the first part of the trial, he crosses paths with a group of slave traders. In a gripping turn of events, he manages to eliminate them, forming an unexpected alliance. It is through this alliance that he constructs a plan to escape the planet and reunite with his crew and loved ones. The book masterfully combines elements of action and strategy as our hero fights against formidable foes and navigates the perils of a space station.
The author's writing style is fast-paced and immersive, allowing readers to be fully engaged in the thrilling sequences. The vivid descriptions of the action scenes and the interstellar settings create a visually captivating experience. Furthermore, the exploration of the protagonist's personal growth and his evolving relationship with Valkyrie adds emotional depth to the narrative.
One of the standout aspects of this book is the theme of redemption. Despite the initial lack of trust between the protagonist and Valkyrie, their shared goal unites them. It is through their combined efforts and the support of newfound allies that they manage to save the protagonist's crew and loved ones, forging a bond based on mutual respect and resilience.
Probably the Best Adult Dynastic Space Opera Series EVER!
This is an ADULT space opera, and this series is probably the best EVER written! Our primary protagonist is Adam, former space Marine, former special forces operator, former space, mutated by "scientists" into a WereTiger. In this story, he, his vampire lover, his uberhacker lover, the bioengineer who wants to be his lover, and her bioengineered android (who also wants to be his lover) are flying around the galaxy trying to free slaves. The four women are extremely intelligent and very good looking. While being separated from his women for about 19 days (they were kidnapped) he manages to find himself married to the Prime Valkyrie. But her father does not approve...
This book alternates space battles with vicious hand-to-hand combat. It is very fast-paced, with lots of dark humour, and lots of complex activity between consenting adults... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BOTH AS BOTH AN INDIVIDUAL BOOK AND AS A SERIES!!
I liked this...the story was feeling a little stale by the fourth book but this latest volume is like a second wind both for the plot and for the readers. I think this story was awesome and think the characters are just as great as I remembered them. I saw someone complaining about how the female leads reactions were weird but I kind of feel like they were missing the point of the story and the nature of those characters. Normal people will eventually have to stop and deal with trauma, heroes in stories bottle that stuff up and just sort of carry it with them while the plot it is carrying on. Something tells me that there's this whole side story that we didn't see where the female half of the crew were scrambling to get themselves out of that whole scary situation which is why it feels their carelessness fits.
The book is as good as the previous books but still the idea of his harem and how much they talk about all the women in love with him is just ridiculous. The whole series would be so much better without the unnecessary and unneeded love fest, orgy or whatever the author is trying to convey. I love, love, love the tiger shifting MC and Eve the kick-ass vampire. Take away all the women trying to get into his pants all the time and his crew mates are out of this world awesome. They are full of action-packed adventures all with the idea of roaming the galaxy helping those in need. If you don't mind having to wade through excessive, inappropriate, multi-women relationships I recommend this series.
Interesting elements, but please quit pretending that Adam is the Bachelor and all the "super hot" ladies are after him. Please quit with the awful dream sequences and the completely stupid Super Bad-Ass Vampires talking like toddlers. Please quit describing what ever bullet that leaves Adam's guns do to their target. We might actually move the story along a little faster if we didn't have to here how beautiful the ladies are and what an incredible hunk Adam is every 4.5 pages. Good action when they aren't sitting around talking about their hotness and how much they love one another. The Prime Valkyrie is also a prime bitch, my least favorite of the girl posse.
Adam is pining for his women. Madalena, the Prime Valkyrie, wants Adam, not only because of love, but she has political and military plans as well. While Adam appreciates the help, but all the political and cultural mechanisms just get in the way of finding his women. Adam learns to understand Madalena and sympathize, but he is still resentful of being co-opted into the Vaish culture. Will Madalena be accepted by the others into Adam's harem? Will they have a chance against the super vampires? I eagerly await the next book.
Prime Valkyrie, the sixth book in the Star Justice series, is an exciting and fun book. Adam, the tiger shapeshifter, has more crazy adventures with tough heroic women who all seem to be in love with him. If you enjoyed the other books in the series, you'll love this one. If you haven't read the others, you could probably still enjoy this book, but it'd be a much better idea to start at the beginning and read them all.
Contains graphic violence.
I received an ARC of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Love the characters in this series. Zea and the girls, now Madelena and her bad ass Valkyrie. What's not to love. The women are kick ass in this book. The concepts are sometimes not to my liking, for instance the religious doctrine of Madelena's people. But otherwise love the action. More people die in this a book than by any other author. As long as its bad guys, I'm OK with that. Keep it coming Mr Earle. Can't wait for the next one.
As usual Mike Delivers. I've been Hooked since taking a chance on the first Star Justice book. I've been reading Sci-fi and Sword and Sorcery for 45 years. And I love both, in fact I usually read a Sci-fi then a Sword and Sorcery. Mike weaves together both in this book and it rocks. He'll take you from Laughing to Cheering to Praying for Adam and the Rest in a single page. If you have any qualms about picking up this Series, Don't hesitate, YOU WON'T BE SORRY.
Better than Burning Bright wile there is a little bit of the irritants from book 5 present, those are a lot less. The rest of the book is pretty much murder and mayhem with some wilderness survival thrown in. Adam can't take a walk down the corner store without ending up with 15 more women dedicated to him. I believe the count is about 50 by the end of Prime Valkyrie, but only one is a love interest.
Fun and action packed if a bit short for my taste. Happy that the obvious path wasn't followed and there is consistency and further character development. can't wait for the next book.
Ok these books just becomes better and better! Action filled, lots of explosions, plasma riffles and destruction, incredible book! I can't wait for the next one once again...
Another great story by this author star justice series continues to be incredibly fun to read so much action and if you have read all these books now it's Eve, Zea and Madeline.
This series is so much fun and you can't help but love the characters. I will be waiting for the next book to come out. If you you like space opera then this one is a must read.
You left me hanging again! I thought the last one left me craving but, that was nothing compared the what is to come. That was awesome. Thank you very much. everything I read from here out will be time wasters until the next episode.
Really enjoyed this series 🤗 Decided I finally like Madelina too. 😘 hot alien! Fast paced shoot-em-up. Escapism at it's best - or nearly. 🤓 more Tiger! / 'snowleopard'...
This was quite entertaining, in typical Star Justice style - that is, plenty of bloody deaths and exploding bad guys! But there were new characters on new and interesting worlds, and only mildly irritating levels of repetition to get through.
An interesting story though certain aspects of the relationship between all the characters seems overplayed like a 15 year old boy wrote it. We get that Adam has all these hot women with him; move the bleep on and just tell the damn story.
This series is a nice mix of paranormal and science fiction that keeps you wondering who will get Adam next. Also when will he realize that he just needs to go with the flow.
Adam is rescued from his rite when Madeline finds out her father is trying to have him killed. She and the crew help Adam find his friends. Eve and Zea are going to have a talk with Madeline while Adam sleeps, oh to be a fly on the wall for that one. Oh wait I will be!!
Reread the 1st 5 books in the series to refresh my memory. This one blew me away. So much suspense, action, and fighting. Man what a ride! Think I will try to sleep some before starting on #7.
Almost couldn't put down the book, but exhaustion finally got me. The series so far is amazing, and I really look forward to reading more! Hope the Author continues to release new books on his website.
Picked up the book less than an hour after it was released. Finished it same day. The series started out slow, but has really built into something epic.
Absolutely the best so far in the series. 90,000 Words at the speed of Wow. From start to finish this Book is pure action and left me counting the days till Book 7.
