For all the "feelings" she had for Jaxson we didn't really see to much of them together so I was confused when her heart was completely broken by him. Seriously...she was dating another guy, spent more time with the other guy BUT was "in love" with Jaxson? Also...she met the two other in her h once or twice at max and was sooooo infatuated with them? Then to top it all off Jaxson freaked out when he thought she died...helllooooo he was just dancing with the OW who he was to be mated with!!!

Overall....I need to see and feel more instead of being told.

In my opinion this book is unreadable. I have NEVER read a book with this Many errors. It was impossible to over look and made Reading it quite unpleasent.

I Think the plot was cool - but it was Way too slow. From beginning to end Not much developement in the relationship happened. You dont get any answers.

Dont spend money on this.

honestly this was really entertaining and i really enjoyed reading it.

Winter was a reasonably good character, and though she may have annoyed me a bit, Jaxson made up for it. honestly, he's a miracle and one of the main things that kept me reading this book.

Atti is another one of these things. he's a close second to Jaxson in terms of my favourite characters, and i love his cats and his personality. god bless.

the third thing - something that made me laugh everytime i read his name (literally) - was Dabriel. i literally could not stop laughing whenever i read 'Dabriel' because it's just such a hilarious name. it's like Gabriel the angel but the knockoff version. ok, that sounded mean, and i'm in no way looking down upon the author or book for this name, but i just found it so, so funny.

but then there was the last dude. and i honestly really didn't like him that much. Wyatt just seemed like he was trying too hard to be the nice guy, and it was annoying.

still, all in all this was a fun and enjoyable book, and i look forward to continuing the series. thanks to amazon kindle and the author for the free book!

Second time read.

I will admit, I liked this book a lot better the second time around. I honestly have no idea why I didn't like it the first time.. but things still did end up annoying me. Like the whole mating thing. They either can or can't be mated to her.. but we already know that she's destined to have 4 mates - so what gives?

These guys totally have lives and shit.. but once they meet her aren't they supposed to know she's the one? What's the point in going through with the whole fake mating.. just cause someone said to? Sounds kind of stupid.

Besides all of that, and I know I never mentioned any of their names but that's because I'm evil (and lazy + tired af). However, I will mention my favorite character out of the entire book (so far) and that's freaking freddy! He's adorable and I instantly fell in love with him. I love his relationship with Winter and I can't wait to see it grow. He's going to be a lady's man for sure.

Overall, Winter still annoyed me (a little bit) and some things irked me. I'm obviously going to dive further into this series and give book 2 a chance. I hope it's good.

I was hoping this book would have more smut to it when I first started reading it. I got my hopes up thinking this reverse harem book would be super smutty. I was wrong. It doesn't really go into detail too much, if not at all. So if whoever is reading this review to try and decide if they want to read this but want smut. This book does not do it for me.

However, the story is one I've come to really enjoy. I like the concept of her having 4 mates. One from each line of supernaturals.

I've already finished book 2 and am currently reading book 3. So I don't want to say too much for hopes that I'm not mixing the events in the books. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone.

So I'll just say that if you are looking for a smutty reverse harem series. This is not the one for you. I am half way through book 3 and there still hasn't been a really good smutty scene.

But if you are looking for a reverse harem series with a good back story then this one will fit your needs.

There are a lot of grammatical errors in this book. But I was able to look past them.

This is paranormal soup, a little bit of this and that. Nothing really memorable about this, it's pretty meh urban fantasy. The heroine is pretty bland and the author is using some mysterious prophecy to make up for it. 4 guys just cannot get enough of her but there is really no reason for them to be into her other than reasons. It ends on a cliffhanger and since it's KU I'll check out the 2nd book and we'll see if it improves.

Good start with h saving werewolf boy, then drawn into a paranormal world which she just...accepts. We learn through her dreams that she's part of a prophecy, her mates are gathering. She's doesn't know that she's not all human. It was a good idea let down by odd writing style. Few if any contractions so dialogue was stilted and unnatural. The characters were too OTT. She was too perfect, the men too handsome, often too angry. Her sister/friend lied to the h, who too cool about the risks that followed. Nope, nope, nope.

One would think that Winter is your typical college student but then she discovers the supernatural world. Suddenly, she has ties to a werewolf pack and her roommate is setting her up with a vampire. Winter thinks she is just an unlucky human, but little does she know that she is the center of an ancient prophecy involving all the supernatural factions.

This was book 1 in the series, so a lot of time was devoted to setting the series up and developing the main character, Winter. She's likable, thankfully not annoying, and seems to have a good head on her shoulders. We really only get to know two of her fated four mates, Jaxon and Wyatt. The other two are introduced, just not developed. In typical G. Bailey fashion, we are given just enough of the plot to be intrigued before the book ends. It is like being given breadcrumbs - do you keep following the trail hoping it will lead you to something tasty, or do you realize breadcrumbs are not very satisfying unless there is a lump of bread thrown in every once and while to satisfy your current hunger. Since this is just book one, I'm willing to follow the trail a little longer. Usually, G. Bailey gives us a chunk of bread by the end of book 2. Smut factor on this book is 1 out of 5 - nothing but kissing.

Winter and her best friend Alex have left home to attend school away at University. It's while she's away that she finds a hurt wolf next to her apartment, and being that animals are calm around her she brings it inside to take care of it's wound. While doctoring up the wolf's injury she comes back to find that the wolf has transformed into a boy and then back again. Little did she know that by saving the wolf she would be pulled into the supernatural world. The guardian of the boy has taken it upon himself to make her part of his pack, as her guardian, he will protect her and teach her to protect herself.

The wolves aren't the only one with an interest in Winter she's also drawn the attention of the prince of the Vampires which happens to be friends with an angel and witch who also have an interest in her. There is a prophecy that revolves around the four guys and Winter that will change everything in all of their lives. However, there are those who don't want it to happen and are determined to get their hands on Winter.

I like Winter she accepts the supernatural really easy the idea that she saved a werewolf didn't seem to bother her. Or the fact that she's dating a vampire, or her friend has her own secret life. I wasn't sure at first about Wyatt at first but as the book progressed he had some redeeming qualities even though he doesn't sparkle in the sun. We haven't seen a lot of the other guys yet just a little taste but I can see this being an interesting harem.

I've had this one on my wishlist for a while but I never seemed to get around to it. I'm in love with the cover for Winter's Guardian who doesn't love a girl in a beautiful dress with a wolf. I liked the concept for the reason behind who Winter is how she's connected to 4 different men from 4 different supernatural beings. The vampires aren't your typical vampire which I found intriguing and I loved the wolves. This is my first book by the author but I can already tell it won't be the last I enjoyed her writing style. Winter's Guardian is a fast-paced hard to put down reverse harem story with great characters that I found easy to connect with. It is a cliffhanger so I'm dying to dive right into the next one and see what happened.

This book has a pretty interesting plot but the execution was terrible. The author needs to work a lot on things like grammar and syntax. Multiple times the incorrect words were used such as convert when it should have been contort. The MC's internal dialogue was very boring most of the time, and very convoluted. There is very little world building, all the supernaturals fit their stereotypes for the most part.

Also anything thrown at the MC she just took in stride, wolf injured near your car? Let me just take him up to my apartment, oh its actually an 8 year old boy? Oh well, time to sleep. Also what 8 year old boy would say "shame I'm not a few years older" in regards to dating a woman....there isn't one!

The hot and cold of the MC and one of her mates was also very annoying, normally there is some sort of lukewarm between the shifting of how the characters react to one another but it was complete polar opposites. Making out in the hallway one minute, the next page the guys as cold as a glacier, but then chases after her.

Also one would generally consider never seeing people again when they overhear the talk of the necessity of needing to kill the MC, but nope, doesn't even phase her.

I'm shocked I actually made it through the entire book, and somehow I'm already halfway through the second, I was hoping the grammar and syntax errors would have improved but no such luck. If she hasn't already I would recommend having it proofread to fix any errors for future versions and books.

Winter is stuck in the middle of a war she knows nothing about. On top of that, the guys that she is suppose to end up being with are making it difficult for her to be with them, and her heart is being broken. She must figure out what is happening before it is too late.

This book was an okay start to this series. I'm a little bit frustrated that someone who is meant to be with the heroine is actually trying to be with someone else. And then it feels like one of the good guys is doing pretty bad things.

Other than that I did like it, but it wasn't great, and I'm not sure if I will read more in this series.

Guarding Her Heart

It's true this novel would benefit from some editing, however, I didn't have any issues with understanding sentences nor did it have an impact on my comprehension or smoothness of reading. The story itself is enjoyable and I'm certainly going to read the next book.

Decent Reverse Harem

Pretty good plot and the ideas were unique. I liked the main character, but wish we got to know the heroes more. Needs editing.

Winter is stuck between a supernatural war. I did not like that Winter was not shocked about the wolf no freak out after finding out there are supernatural beings. It made the story feel not real so was just to ok with everything. This is not normal and her responses where not what I expected from Winter. I do like the premise of the story but fleshing out character responses would make this a bit better story.

The writing was so horrible you feel like you were reading a bad written Wattpad . 😭
There were so many grammatical errors like one time author was starting phrase "They wasn't good parents." Moreover sentence structure was also wrong.
Normally I don't mind simple worded story as long as it has substance. Writer doesn't have to be fluent in flowery writing for me to appreciate good book but here I didn't find any joy , any connection to the story or character themselves.
.
FMC was in her 20s , I let that go, but the male leads are centuries old and yet behaving so immature. Humor was just outright bad. One second female lead is angry for male lead being rude and next she is laughing like maniac on things that aren't remotely funny.
.
You can take few chapters you can't full book. And even there are 12 books in series.. nope 👎 I am not going to continue with this author.

Needs a good proofreading

Too many typos. Disjointed sentence structure. Quotes that make no sense. Story was OK. A lot of time wasted on trying to build unsuccessful suspense.

It was a slightly entertaining read. But I can’t look past this authors lack of understanding on when to use “your” and “you’re”

And all the men seem to be similarly cringy.

*****5 How do you choose Stars*****

I have officially jumped on the reverse harem band wagon. Her Guardians is one of the best I have read. It has everything in an awesome urban fantasy read and not 1, not 2, but 4 smoking hot guys. Werewolves, Vampires, Angels, and Witches, engaging storyline, amazing characters, action, adventure, drama, it has it all.

Definite recommend.

I’m gonna go ahead and chuck this in the fuckit bucket.
Just recently, I realized I am not a fan of reverse harem books. Don’t ask me why, I couldn’t give you an honest answer. It would be more like a shoulder shrug.
The MC is annoying, and truly she has nothing to point her nose up at. She lacks a personality, and from what parts I did read, she was handed everything.
“Oh, Daddy left me enough money to go to college, and pay for my best friend to attend as well.”
With that being said, why did her and her mother struggle most of her life?
Winter hates everyone and am honestly surprised she likes herself.
She talks to dogs… or wolves – whatever. And for someone who was never introduced to the PN she sure is calm when she finds a shifter on her couch.
I wanted more with this book, more character development, a MC with more of a personality… but what I got was more editing issues. Word drops and extra words.
I am really sad I didn’t like this book. I was looking forward to a good PNR, with a lil’ bit of shifter and vampire action.

Wow this book kept me awake till 4am!

Winter is a college student who's dating life has been bad. So she decides to stop dating all together, but her best friend/roommate sets her up on a blind date. He is a hottie but its doesn't go well and she finds a friend to give her a lift home. That night her dating life changes when she meets more another hottie. Her blind date with Wyatt wasnt so bad either and they try again, his friends are just as gorgeous as he is. But Winter doesnt know all the beautiful men she has me met have history with eachother and she may be the prophesy she hears whispered between them. I cant wait till the next book comes out! I just need the rest of their stories!

While there were a couple elements that annoyed me in this first book - I thought the intro to Jaxson and Wyatt was not awesome, because frankly they both came across as giant assholes and the last thing I want is to read yet another book with a woman hurling herself at giant assholes - things got better and I like the overall story. It's an interesting mythology, and I'm looking forward to finding out what Winter is because there's just no way she's human.

I really loved this story and I couldn't put it down. But the reason why I can't give it 5-stars is because this book greatly needs an editor/proofreader. There are numerous grammatical and spelling errors. There are so many of them, that some people may find the book off-putting to read.

Couldn't finish it, the editing is just too bad.

And it's basic things like capitalizing the next word after a period, extremely bad misuse or lack of commas, apostrophe issues, not to mention wrong words in places (ie. "that's it's").

It was just too painful to finish reading.

Pretty poor effort

There's just a tease going on in the books description. We're told it's one girl, for four fantastical mates but we never really get to that in this book. Instead, it's just a lot of young adult angst and poor proofreading.

Okay

The storyline is great but the dialogue is childish and flat. I couldn't even finish the book and I wanted to like it so bad.
