Not going to lie, not a lot happened in the first half of this book.
Yet, in the end, I still liked this book.

Winter's Kiss gave us some more smut. Which is probably why I ended up liking this book. However, it also could've been due to the fact of wanting to know more about her family. Like, who the hell are her parents? What the hell is Winter - which I'm mad that we still don't all the facts!!

Other than that, she now has two freaking mates! Out of the guys, that is. I'm still patiently waiting for her to mate the other ones.. and I'm hoping that will happen in the next book. I have a couple of favorite parts from this book,

1: Jax and her in the cave. Their chemistry is amazing and that scene was hot af.
2. Wyatt and Winter mating - because they had sparks after her biting him. HOT DAMN!
3. ATTI AND HIS CATS! OMG I loved when he threatened Talen with his fucking cats - WHO DOES THAT?

Overall, I wish the first half of this book had a bit more that intrigued me but I am so freaking happy that the second half picked everything back up. I can't wait to dive into the next book!

Parts of this story were dull & I felt the heroine was intentionally thick but the overall arc is interesting. I plan to continue the series

While trying to save Winter's life at the end of book one, Wyatt made her his mate. As such, Winter must travel to the vampire court to be acknowledged. It is a dangerous place for Winter. Wyatt's father clearly intends to do her harm. Winter must learn to use her vampire powers while keeping her other mysterious powers a secret.

This was a good second book in the series. The non-romantic plot moved along quite a bit (especially at the end), as did the romantic plot. Winter seals her mate bond with Wyatt and Jaxson and gets to know Atti a bit more too. We still know very little about her fourth mate, so hopefully, the next book will feature him a little more. Smut factor is about a 3 out of 5, just average.

I've recently gotten into reverse harem books. And this series has been one of my favorite so far.

The men are extremely hot! I love reading about their relationship building with Winter.

The story line continues to get better for me. And although I started this book hoping I would get a good fill of smut. The world building and the story line have been what keeps me reading. Because this book in no way, shape, or form satisfied my need for smut. It's there. But it's definitely soft core. Which is actually really annoying. But like I said the story is intriguing enough to keep me going.

Just wow! Winter's Kiss is the second installment in the Her Guardians series and it just keeps getting better! Winter awakens not just with a new set of powers that she doesn't have control over but she is also faced with a blinding new reality. The Prophecy.

In book two we are lucky enough to be a part of Winter and her guardians blossoming romances and adventure! Bailey and her impeccable writing takes us on a rollercoaster of ups, downs and self discovery that just leaves you wanting more!

The next book needs to be here right now as far as I'm concerned! I can't wait to see what happens next!

I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and voluntarily decided to review it

This awesome series continues with book two, we see Winters relationships with her guys grow and deepen, we also learn more about the guys.

Winter still has a lot of questions about how she came to be what she is and about the world
Around her, there is action, adventure twists and turns and her blossoming romance, this is an awesome continuation of this amazing series and I am so excited for book three, I highly recommend this book and I just want to say it is an awesome series

This is the second book in an awesome series. This book picks up where the first one left off. Winter wakes up different than before. She has powers that she doesn't understand now. She also has mated from four different supernatural worlds. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

The girl is such an idiot

After reading 25% of the book I couldn't stomach it any longer. She is just so lame, has nothing to offer, no personality, no drive, just a lusty idiot along for a ride. Too bad - the story held some promise but making the main character below the grade IN EVERYTHING majes it difficult to swallow. Please, don't forget her CHOSEN MATES having lovers, children with other women and generally being promiscuous WHILE KNOWING they have a mate that is above it all. What were they planning to do with their women when the ONE appeared? Any ideas about fornicating idiots with higher destiny??? Disappointed and disgusted!

I don't remember a lot from the first book (that what happens when you read so much), but I do remember that I liked it. And judging by my review of it, I liked it quite a lot. This one, on the other hand, was not as satisfactory as I expected it to be. The events felt rushed and the writing wasn't as good as I remembered. Plus, I had an issue with the emotional aspect. I would read how the characters are feeling and I either did not feel it, or did not believe it.
So, yeah. I still want to keep reading, because I'm kind of interested in how the story progresses, but at the same time everything that I liked about the first book is absent or changed here.

I was lucky enough to receive Winter kiss as as a Beta copy.

Winter kiss picks up right where Winters Guardians left off. Winter wakes up to find she's just a little more than she used to be, but not entirely what everyone though she would be.

Winters life is constantly changing, she has powers that she shouldn't have, and she is trying to figure out how her heritage and those weird ass dreams fit into her destiny. Luckily for Winter she is surrounded by 4 amazing men; Jaxon, Wyatt, Dabrial and Atticus.

The majority of Winter kiss focused on Winter acclimating to life with her supernaturals, and for reasons that you will find out at the beginning of this book, Winter spends the majority of the book attending to the political side of their lives. Not only does this book continue to develop and explore the relationships between the mates, but it develops Winters strength. Shes put under so many different kinds of stress and she steps up to the challenge every single time.

I loved that we got to see more of the other Princes, not just Jaxon and Wyatt. I honestly wouldn't be able to choose between any of them now, Dabrial and Atticus brought so much to the group dynamics.

Some of the secondary characters were such an amazing in this book. I maintain that Freddy is one of my favourite characters, he is just the cutest thing ever and I love his relationship with Winter. Leigha is so badass! She just so tough, doesn't take crap from anyone and I just want to give her a hug.

The ending of Winters kiss had me just staring at my screen for 10 minutes questioning how the hell im supposed to go on with life.
G.Bailey, this was amazing!

The beginning was rough, because I'm not particularly a fan of Wyatt - I don't like that he did what he did without her consent, and then was super emo about it, as if it was harder on him than on her. I get that he didn't have a lot of choice, and would probably have done the same thing, but I'd like to think that a non-asshole would be apologetic about it, and not an emo whiner, as if this mammoth change to that person's life is all about him.

But Wyatt grew on me. And even though there are some moments of TSTL in this series - I think the hints we get, both from her dreams and from various sources (as bits of info are dropped by characters), are a LOT more obvious than any of the characters treat them, and they literally never ever figure anything out - I liked this one a fair bit. I like the way the overall story of Winter and the prophecy is coming together, and I like the guys. I hope they manage to whip their people into shape.

Winter- brown hair, blue eyes and beautiful. Winter is the FMC and is awkward as hell. She's at university studying to become a vet. She found a wolf/werewolf (Freddie) near her car hurt. Winter helps the wolf and gets pulled into the supernatural world, it turns out she has mates and a prophecy and she's not human.

Alex- The best friend
Drake- Alex's mate, vampire and protector of Wyatt.

The harem:
Wyatt- The vampire, black eyes, silver sparks. Has an ex called Demi that he loved and a kid called Freddie.
Atti- The first male witch in centuries. Seems like the funny one and has two large cats as his familiars.
Dabriel-The angel, long hair, purple eyes and covered in runes.
Jaxson- Scottish and a werewolf and isn't keen on Winter at first.

This was ok, nothing to write home about. The audio wasn't that great. It was very obvious throughout who Winter is.

This book was amazing. The first chapter picks up at the cliffhanger. Winter is woken up as something not seen before in the supernatural. She has new powers she has to control and mates she has to get to know. We get to know each of the guys more and they are fantastic. This story is mostly taken place with the vampires and Winter has to met Wyatt's father. We get more incite into who Winter really is. This story was amazing and a definite read. I can't wait to see what is to come.

SO very honored to receive an advanced copy of this book. I was very happy with the way that the story progressed and each character developed. Winter is def coming into her own, and the boys (princes) seem to be putting her first (well lets be honest Dab and Atti really seemed to always put her first). eagerly anticipating the next book in the series!

Ok first. I hate when books end at less than 95% of the book. This ends at 88%.
The story line is jumbled to me. There’s so much potential it just skips around too much.

Still same mistakes

This book is written like a high schooler who promises a steamy 18+ read but can’t follow through because of a lack of experience herself. Still littered with grammatical errors.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a hundred times. In order to be a successful RH writer you need to remember that the male leads need some characterization and description to set them apart. This just isn’t that. It’s a blend of characters because the author was too busy misspelling everything to invest in her story and characters.

What the author does do is take away the magic of mates and true loves, by delving into the history of the other guys. Them recounting other women, one of them having an unknown child, I get showing the guys’ lives were not on hold for her, but there are ways to write that they are experienced without making them sound like they slept around with no thought to their mate. Also, the female lead has only realistically known them for a few weeks? she was in a coma for a month and then she acts like she knows them all? And then all of a sudden jaxson is all for her, when he was the biggest one against her. It’s too much a turn around. This is all just written so poorly and poorly constructed. There is a great storyline here if you can wade through the garbage.

This book needs editing, a better play on characters, less whiny high school like banter, and real steam. The odds are it’s not going to happen in the rest of the series.

What confused me the most about the beginning of Winter’s Kiss is how easily Winter accepts her mates. In the last book, Winter’s Guardian, Winter was disbelieving–incredibly reluctant to even admit that she has feelings for her guys. And somehow, between this book and the last, Winter accepts the guys being her mates.

Moving further along into the story, Winter’s Kiss became interesting once again. What I liked about this sequel a lot was actually how much story progress there is. And there’s quite a bit.

There’s also a new edition to the characters! The new character introduced is Milo, and Milo is so freaking cute. I was quite sure that Milo was going to die, but colour me surprised! Milo was safe and sound.

The parts of Winter’s Kiss that I didn’t like, was that some of the plot was predictable. Yes the story was a tad predictable at parts, but don’t get me wrong here. Still very much enjoyable.

And yes, if you’ve read my review of Winter’s Guardian, then you know that this series has quite a bit of the word usage of ‘slut.’ This continues into this book as well.

Winter’s Kiss, to me, was the quickest read out of all of the Winter’s Guardians series. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed reading this second novel.

I give Winter’s Kiss, 4 stars.

YAY!!! So Winter's Kiss basically starts where Winter's Guardians left off except it's a month later and Winter just wakes up from a coma. But Winter isn't the same...Wyatt had to change her into a vampire to help her survive, which also made her his mate. But from the first book we all know that Wyatt, Jaxson, Atti and Dabriel are prince of their species and share Winter-I mean the is a reverse-harem book after all. But you want to know what the best part is...well, let me tell you since this is a one way deal so you don't have a say;) THEY HAVE SEX. Okay not group sex but sex is sex and who doesn't Loe it when their favorite characters have sex? NO ONE Winter's Kiss is an amazing read by an amazing author-the third book, Winter's Promise, releases September 14, so next week. The four book and what I think is the last, Winter's War, has no release date as of now but I'm definitely looking forward to it:)

I can’t go any further with this series

Like I said in my previous review the author is very creative and I did like where she was going. However in this book there are gaps a mile long. Not well structured or organized and major inconsistencies.

The grammar is not terrible like the previous book but there are a lot of common errors. I could still look past this but the author really needs to tighten up her writing.

Overall this series has potential but reads like a rough draft. If you can get past this give it a shot. Especially Unlimited Members. As for me I am done with the series.

Winters Kiss is the second book in the Her Guardians series by G. Bailey.

This story starts off with Winter waking up, and finding she is now mated to Wyatt, whom she was dating in the last book, a side effect of him using his blood to try to turn her and save her life. When she wakes everyone is confused that she has a beating heart. Not really knowing yet that she wasn’t only human, but a half breed and demon and goddess as well. Her newly made vampire status requires her to travel to Wyatt’s home and attend court, for all of the vampire race to see and celebrate. Here we meet Leigha, Drake’s sister, who strikes a deal with Winter to teach her to fight and be her protector in helping her not be mated off with a group of random old men. Because supernaturals mostly mate in reverse harems, due to the lack of women born in comparison to the amount of men. While in trying to discover the Vampire King’s intentions Winter picks up a mini-demon sidekick named Milo, who as well agrees to assist her for her protection. The King has been meeting with all the other race leaders trying to find the crystal he needs, with Winter’s blood, to bring the Demon King back. When he succeeds not only is he taken over by the Demon King, instead of Wyatt as he intended, his vampire palace is overrun, but the dark witches overthrow Atti’s mother and kill her as well.

I thought this book was relatively less confusing than the last one, especially in terms of the writing. There was a little less repetition. But the story seemed like all filler not too much happened outside of the beginning, end, and the few chapters dedicated to the other MC’s narrative. I totally glossed over the part Jaxson’s new Kingly status takes in this novel, in the above section. However, it was one of my favorite parts delving deeper into his characters backstory. Which led to him seeming more easy to relate to, in fact switching places with Wyatt on that scale. When his backstory came off as a little forced and contrived, with the repetitive mentions of his not knowing his mother and his father being evil. I liked learning more about his ex Demi, Jaxson’s sister. I will forever be grateful there were no more jealous competition for Winter to face here, especially in contrast the annoyance that is Esta within the pack.

Winter's Kiss continues the story of Winter and her 4 Princes, Jaxson, Wyatt, Dabrial and Atti. It's even better than the first book! The book starts with Winter waking up from her near-death coma, changed into a new type of being. We are no longer certain exactly what she is. Wyatt saved her with his blood, but she's not exactly like him. She's definitely not human. The mystery surrounding her and the prophecy deepens. Winter is trying to find her footing in the paranormal world while figuring out how to make a relationship with four loves work. She is much further along in the relationships with Jax and Atti, but she cares for all. Her human upbringing makes this a difficult reality. Plus, since all four are Princes, she is now involved in Pack politics and is a Princess in the deadly Vampire Court. And she's developing new powers and needs training.

Winter continues to be a good lead female. Sure she's got an out of control chocolate addiction, but as a fellow addict, I'm not one to hold that against her. She's kind and loving even when overwhelmed and she has a bit of fire to her. My only complaint is that she doesn't seem to pay enough attention to her dreams. We get much more time with all four Princes this book. Jaxson's intensity still makes him my favorite, but we get to see Dabriel's romantic streak, Atti's playfulness, and Wyatt's gentle side. I love the guys interactions with one another. Of course Alex, Winter's best friend returns, but we also get a new kick-ass female, Leigha, Winter's protector. She's a rare female vampire; she's as tough as they come and more than a little scary. Freddie is back too. He's awesome! We do learn more about him; it's major and has potential to damage the group. And the final new character I want to mention is a mini-demon Milo. I love this little guy. I hope he continues to have a sweet, comic role!

This book is entertaining; full of intrigue and ends with a cliffhanger. One that leaves the world in peril. I have never been more grateful to an author for her quick releases!

In Winter's Kiss we pick up where Winter's Guardian leaves off. Winter has changed, through a bite from her vampire mate Wyatt. Setting off events that change Winter's life forever. Also binding Winter and Wyatt. But Winter has a prophecy to fulfill, and obstacles to over come. Danger is all around her, not knowing who to trust, but her four protectors whose lives are tangled with her own. Secrets will be shared and lives lost, but one thing will remain the same. Their love and devotion for each other.

I love this author so much. Not only is she nice, and responds to her readers, she is very talented. I have loved every book she has written, and her upcoming ideas. Mrs. Bailey has a way with bringing the characters to life, with personalities that compliment each other perfectly. Winter is such a real female lead. Having gone from not knowing anything about the paranormal to right in the middle of it, she adjusts well. And what can I say about the guys, their personalities are unique to them and make you fall for each individual one. Wyatt, Jaxson, Atti and Dabriel are the princes of their races and have always known that one day they would share a destiny and a love. To me the characters all fit together perfectly. Passions are on the rise, secrets coming to light, enemies knocking on their door, heartache, lots of action, and with an ending that leaves one of the group heartbroken. Leaving a perfect set up for Winter's Promise. Thankfully we don't have long to wait
