This book continues the story of the prequel, Warriors of Taulon. It is a complete love story with an HEA, and is also part of an ongoing series. It may be helpful to read the prequel first to get the most enjoyment from this novel.
FYI: There are a couple of swear words in the book. The story is action-packed and filled with a few surprises! I hope you enjoy the ride!
What an adventure!I had so much fun reading this story. The author helped the reader by giving us a glimpse of the cause behind the behavior and therefore actions of the characters while keeping the page turning at a brisk pace! I sank into this story, and didn't come up for air until I finished. Yes I recommend this to those of us, who enjoy this genre, especially if done well.
Excellent Sci-fi love story. She incorporated great ideas for the invasion and rescue of female humans. I was surprised they left some to fend for themselves after picking up 500, thousand women. Eve falls hard for her warrior and him for her. They are on they're on the way to Taulon in the Delphi system. The next book will tell us how things go on the planet. Can't wait! Kathy
The characters felt almost superficial to me, and the writing in many places didn’t flow well. Maybe it was because things moved slowly. I’ve not been able to connect with this series yet, not something I expected.
