It is November 2020. I am not sure when this book was relevant (if ever), but it was YEARS before this date. There is no reason to spend any amount of time on this book at this point. It is so sorely out of date - and so incredibly high level and obscure - that I am not sure I could have recommended it even before it became out of date.

This book is long on hype and low on specifics. I’d call it a high level overview but it isn’t even that. It presents a rosy picture of the tech without any apparent appreciation for things like currency risk. A waste of my time.

While it does offer some information on how to get started in Cryptocurrency and what the underlying technology is - there are much better resources available.

It was mostly propaganda pieces for paying for Fintech's services and unrealistic and hyperbolic promises were made left and right. If anything it left me more wary than excited.
