As with most of the Sinclair shorts, the last 35% or so is adverts for her other writings.
This would have earned a higher rating from me had it not felt so rushed. Each element of the sex scenes were like simply stated to check off a box on the list. It was a shame. Jessie Sinclair knows how to phrase things to push the reader's buttons. Writing is solid and grammar only had a couple errors in tense that I noticed. The feelings between the husband and wife are underdeveloped. From the opening few paragraphs you're led to believe she has grown to hate him. It isn't until the last paragraph when she assures him she loves him but, after her tryst she will never let him fuck her again.
So much potential for a hot hot story novelette, so I finished up the story feeling saddened the story wasn't more robust.
