I want to thank you and congratulate you for downloading the book, “ Finding Happiness and Peace Using Stoic Philosophy, a Beginners Guide”.

This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to use stoic philosophy to enhance your happiness, and bring peace to your life.

You want to be rich, you want to have great relationships, and overall, you want the good things in life. There is nothing wrong in wanting worldly comforts. The only hitch in this quest to quench your thirst - to drink from the fountain of desires - is that you are never satisfied with what you have. As soon as you have a decent roof over your head, your search begins for a beautiful villa on the beach. Your car, which you once admired with passion, looks ordinary when compared to your neighbors. You want more and more of everything because you feel that it will make you live happily ever after. The truth is that you will never reach a stage that you will be completely satisfied with. You will never get to the point where you say, “That’s enough, I don’t want anything else”. Look around you. Your childhood friend owns a three-garage home, is on his third marriage, and is trying to figure out the meaning of life. Is he happy?

Obviously there seems to be something wrong with the way you search for happiness. Material goals don’t seem to work. Then there is Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and cognitive therapy……………. By this time you must have tried all these tricks, just to discover a spark of happiness. Now you may be asking, “Okay, fine. Tell me how I can be happy and content.” Of course there is no simple answer. Thinkers, philosophers, and even scientists and mathematicians have been trying to find the right formula for happiness. The Greek philosophers worked on their theories long and hard, and tried to explain the meaning of happiness. Stoic philosophy is one such philosophy, which explores ways to make you happy – to achieve tranquility.

The dictionary meaning of stoic is dark and foreboding – ‘a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.’ If this were the true meaning of stoic, you would be better off running away from it. But the meaning of Stoic has been misinterpreted. Stoics, or those who follow the Stoic philosophy, are certainly not spending all their time enduring pain. The Greek philosophers like Zeno of Citium, and Seneca of Hispania championed Stoicism as a way of life, with the goal of bringing peace and tranquility. The Stoic philosophy has endured the ages and still survives up to this modern era because it has produced results. Ironically, though Stoicism calls for simple living, many billionaires will vouch for its effectiveness. Agreed, Stoicism is full of paradoxes – you may be aiming at a certain goal post, and the ball may land someplace else altogether, but eventually you will gain what is important – peace, joy and happiness in your life.

It’s time to take a peek into this glorious philosophy, and see how you can benefit from it – may it bring peace and happiness in your life. Don't delay!! Get your copy now for only $0.99!!
