She barged her way into my life and demanded that I be her friend. That was the best day of my life. The day Quinn took one look at my sorry ass, and decided I needed her.

She was right. I can't live a day without her smile. She's my heart and soul. I've become her shadow, always threatening any guy that dares to even look at her.

I've fallen for my best friend. I wish I'd told her sooner how much I love her.

I was five minutes late. That's all it took for him to take her.
He ripped the sun right out of my life.

In the darkest of nights, even your shadow leaves you. Those are the only words she's spoken to me since that night. They haunt me, a constant echo in the emptiness left behind.

Because of him, she now fears me. But I'll be patient with her.
I'll get my sunshine back once I've dealt with him.
He's had a taste of her and just like me, he's addicted.
He'll come for her again and when he does, I'm going to make him suffer.

I'm a Jackson. I've learned from the best. He's a dead man walking and I'm the Grim Reaper.

The book ends at 73% with samples of Predator and Protector.

All the books in the Men of Honor series can be read as stand alones.
Predator - Alex and Nina - now available
Redemption - Eli and Quinn - now available

It’s good to be afraid, Eli. It means you care. You might not always do the right thing, and you might not always be good at what you do, but the secret is to keep trying. You just need to keep trying and never stop caring.

The story started off really good but then it fell flat. After what happened to Quinn everything became so rushed, healing Quinn, going after Steve… And I think Quinn & Eli weren’t the main focus, the plot wasn’t strong. Told in dual POV, 1st person. It’s the second installment in the "Men of Honor" series but it can be read as a standalone (the first installment is Eli’s parents’ story). Overall, it was an okay read and hope you enjoy it more than me!

descriptionGreat cover on this one. Fantastic representation of the hero. It has good composition and title work as well.description

SIDE NOTE: Just a heads up but this one ended at 73% on my Kindle App. I just thought I would let readers know so you are not blindsided (like I was) by the words THE END and left confused and a little discombobulated and wondering where the other 27% of the story went. *lol*

description

descriptionI enjoyed this one. It wasn't a very sunshiny day type of read, but it worked for me. It is a relatively short book, and I would say very insta. That said it takes a bit for the couple to admit to each other they have feelings, so there is a little OM stuff but nothing sexual. There was no OW drama. The writing and pace were both excellent. The plot kept me engaged and turning the pages. The sex scenes were hot. I teared up a few times, and it had a few rather violent scenes. It had a nice collection of interesting secondary characters. I adored Eli's mother and father, and I suspect Eli's brother Ethan is going to get Finlay as a heroine. I hope so in any case. Both main characters were likable. I LOVED Eli. Quinn was his right from the moment he met her. I loved Quinn as well. My heart broke for her but she fought back, and Eli was there to hold her up and stand at her side.

My only issue with this one was the ending. I found it very abrupt. I would have liked to have had an epilogue of some sort. That said this still gets a solid two thumbs up from yours truly.description

REDEMPTION: by Michelle Horst is Book #2 within the (Men of Honor) series and can be read as a standalone novel. Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’ In this we meet Quinn Drake and Eli Jackson.

After closing up shop late one night at the Green Leaf where she works Quinn has to walk to past a lit up gas station, after that it’s a long dark stretch until she reaches her house, she notices that she is being followed by Steve a guy she knew from school who always hung out with undesirables, she notices he’s as high as a kite which sets off a feeling of uneasiness.

But as luck would have it coming out of the gas station at that exact moment she recognises Eli, she makes out that she’s there to meet him, and throws her arms around him begging him to play along which he does swiftly. He takes her home and after that a strong friendship blossoms between them. Eli craves more than friendship from Quinn but he’s been friend zoned since he rescued her that night. It’s not until she meets Ray and becomes engaged to him where Eli wishes he had’ve told her his true feelings.

Things move progressively fast in this novel, just when you're lulled into a false sense of security
between Quinn and Ray, making a wedding dress and planning a wedding, life is on a high, until BAM shit goes down and you're left reeling in it’s wake. Things change within a blink of an eye drastically.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

This point turns dark. I don't want to go further into my review from here because it needs to be read without spoilers so that you feel everything this author throws at you because it's a dooza and a real game changer in the book. But when there's dark there's always light in the darkness.

I want you. All of you, Quinn, not just your friendship. I want to touch every inch of your body. I want to be inside of you. I want to be able to show the world you're mine.

MY THOUGHTS: I love this author, loved this story, loved these characters, it was like it was written just for me, the dark and gritty moments, the sweet moments, the swooning moments she ticked all my boxes.
The only thing is that it abruptly ends at 72% on my ipad and I really wanted to read the court room setting and their testimonies because I wanted to see him hang by the balls. Other than those two minor things I really really enjoyed this, and highly recommend this book, this series and I can not wait for the next book.

A great follow up to Predator!

Not as dark and action packed as Predator, but Redemption is still a great read from Michelle Horst. Quinn and Eli's story is easier to "put yourself in," so that's what makes it a bit more creepy and close to home at points. It's also a sweet, tragic, and beautiful love story. It's a quick and easy read, but there are a few triggers. If you like dark romantic suspense, then I would absolutely check this one out.

Why do author's continue writing women who are stupid? The things she had the heroine say to the hero was just embarasing for my gender. I wouldn't even want to know a woman who was that stupid. And the antiquated mindset of the hero, loving that she was untouched..... GROSS. JUST GROSS. He'd been with plenty, but that's fine.... he's a man.... Disgusting trope that I refuse to read.

"He moves closer to me and his eyes are so piercing it sends shivers racing over my skin. 'I live you, Quinn.' ... 'You live me?' I whisper in awe. 'I live you. I love you. I want to spend every second of every day with you. You're my now and forever."

Heartbreaking and emotional, reminiscent of the first book which just blew me away when I first met these characters, now parents to Eli and Ethan. A chance meeting commences an endearing and romantic friends to lovers between Eli and Quinn, and tragic events ignite them in flames. The same endearing qualities that made me fall for their father in Predator, rush to the surface and had me falling for the quiet alpha in Eli. The pain of the characters was felt through my gut, but their determination and healing was the balm. This book held so many beautiful relationships other than Eli and Quinn, and gave me a few breadcrumbs to get excited for the next installment. Incredibly heartfelt and moving, and I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

Achingly sweet, a bit tragic, and completely beautiful, Redemption is an outstanding read. Quinn befriends the mysterious and intimidating Eli one night when he helps her on her way home from work. Their friendship quickly turns into an inseparable bond and soon they're joined at the hip. Secretly in love with Quinn, but afraid he will lose her, Eli stands aside when Quinn falls in love with someone else. He's just coming to accept he will never be with the woman he loves when the most horrific of tragedies strikes. When the worst happens it's Eli that Quinn needs and runs to and this time he's never letting her go again.

I loved Eli! While he may seem intimidating he's truly got a heart of gold. His love for Quinn was absolutely beautiful and so sweet it hurts. You could feel his love just pouring from the pages the entire time. There was nothing, absolutely NOTHING, that Eli wouldn't do to see her happy and safe. He was her shadow and she was his sunshine, and that sums them up together perfectly. Two halves of a gorgeous whole.

This is the kind of book that you start and right from the first page you just know it's going to be good.

I absolutely loved this book. It really reminded me of how I felt reading Predator and I love that it is a continuation of that story. You don’t need to read Predator in order to read this but I highly suggest that you do read it because it is an amazing story. If you like over coming tragedy and love beyond measure stories then you should read this. I’ve said it before, but Michelle has an amazing way of making you feel like you are the character. I cried and laughed and cried some more. Quinn is so strong and capable and so much more. She is a great down to earth, relatable character full of love. Eli is a soulful, rough around the edges, good man wanting to help others and is willing to do anything to protect his loved ones.
Seriously read this and Predator. I also can’t wait for Legacy, the third book, to come out!

Well, damn. That was an abrupt end… before the end.
My kindle must have been playing tricks on me, cause’ it said I was only 75% into the book.

Eh, whatever.

I will still live Eli.

This book isn’t as trigger happy as its predecessor, Predator. Though it does deal with things that are tricky for some.

Eli and Quinn have been BFFs for several years. Until one day Quinn meets a man named Roy, from there her relationship with Eli fades. She becomes engaged (after 4 months), and is slowly planning her forever.

Until…. Bum bum bum…. Tragedy hits.

Eli and Quinn must find a way to forgive and trust.

It was good. In the beginning it elicited all sorts of feels from me. It gradually turned into less feels throughout, but it was still a good quick read.

I liked this story. The characters are written as strong characteristics, but they all have a sensitive side also. And again there are triggers.
It takes place 30 years later after Predator. Alex and Nina Jackson are still living in the same small town and now they have two sons. Elijah and Ethan. Elijah is a handyman like his father. Ethan teaches self-defense at the gym.
Quinn is walking home from the flower shop she works at and realizes that she is being followed. She looks back and sees Steven, a stoned drug addict, and his friend coming up behind her. She looks around and sees lights on at the gas station and rushes towards it.
Eli Jackson is coming out of the building and sees a girl coming fast towards him and then when she is close enough she slams into him, throws her arms around his neck and hugs him whispering, please play along.
He looks over her head and sees what she was nervous about and makes a decision. He leans down and presses his lips to hers.
Let's go and he leads her over to the passenger side of his old truck. He gets her address and drives her home.
She's nervous. She doesn't want him to sees where she lives. Her dad is a truck driver and isn't always at home so she's on her own. The house needs work inside and out. The gait is hanging off the hinges.
Eli walks her in and tells her he just wants to make sure she's alright and everything is ok.
Then before he leaves he tells her he has some leftover paint from a job and he'll be over and get the house fixed up this week...

Just another warning there are triggers. The story has a purpose and a need to be told. There is no place that doesn't have violence, drugs, and death. Utopia doesn't exist.

Redemption by Michelle Horst

☆☆☆5 stars☆☆☆

Can you say sexy, swoonworthy, man candy? The Jackson brothers have it covered! Plus, they're just like their parents. Loving, will fight for what's right, and protect you, even if it means putting their own lives on the line.

Quinn has been through a traumatic situation, and has become a shell of who she once was. The struggle to regain her self esteem and life, isn't an easy one, but with the help of the Jackson family, she is in the best hands.

Eli has been there for Quinn, as a best friend, but has always wanted more. Little does he know, Quinn wants more too. When they realize the truth, literal fireworks erupt, and it's all kinds of sweet and sexiness.

Enter Quinn's cousin, Finlay, who comes for a visit. Devastating secrets are revealed, and the group wants nothing more then to fix her broken pieces. She captured my heart and soul, and it's screaming to protect her from the evil that lurks.

LOVED this story, and the Jackson crew is one of the best families ever! I absolutely love them all, and any of us would be lucky to have them in our corner. Momma Jackson is my savior, and has the most innocent, beautiful soul you're bound to find.

Oh my gosh Redemption is so good I'd suggest that you read Predator before reading this one even though it can be read as a standalone you'll understand why I highly recommend it . Really enjoy the fact that this is in both point of views we get incite into the heroes and heroines thoughts and feelings . Wanted to shake Quinn and Eli they really were perfect for each other but held back their feelings because they were unaware how the other truly felt and didn't want to risk a beautiful friendship . I thought book one put me through an emotional roller coaster but dang this one really got to me my heart hurt for Quinn and the guilt she felt and the things she witnessed . When I found out who Eli was there was no way you could get the silly grin off my face just wow , he's protective , alpha sexy , strong , HOOOOOOT . When they finely are together I cheered for them the sex is so steamy and beautiful at the same time . The only thing that got to me was the fact that the villains in book one and two had similar names . I can't wait to read whats to come I'm hoping that it's Elis brother .

Book 2 in Michelle Horst’s Men of Honor series follows Eli and Quinn who are best friends, friends who both want more, sadly neither of them are willing to risk their friendship by taking a chance on love. Eli, believing that Quinn sees her as a younger sister, moves on with her life and falls in love, unfortunately tragedy strikes and her future is ripped away from her. Eli becomes her rock. Having read and loved Predator, I have to say that Redemption did not suck me in quite as quickly. In fact it wasn't until Quinn’s relationship with Eli progressed, and we met Eli’s parents (what a bonus that was, I had no clue when I started the book) that I truly started living this story. Eli and Ethan are definitely their father’s sons and I loved them. An action packed, romantic and very sensual story with strong characters and some graphic scenes, not quite as violent as Predator, but definitely not for the faint hearted. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review

I loved this book! It held my attention from the first page. It reminded me of Predator, and I knew there was a connection...but it still surprised me when I realized what the connection was!
Eli was absolutely dreamy! Definitely fell into the strong, silent type! And Quinn was just a sweet, innocent girl who didn't realize how strong she was until she found herself in an awful situation.
This book was dark, but it had some surprisingly sweet parts...and I have to admit, she made me cry a couple times! It was great and I can't wait for the next one!

I love how dark, gritty and real Michelle's books are. Yes, they are dark and deal with things that can cause triggers for some readers, but the are are so raw, so real. You get a good sense of exactly what the characters are feeling. The pain they are going through becomes your own pain. You FEEL her books. Love it. Predator was one of my favorite books and I was so happy to read about "Alex" and "Nina" again. Their sons are beautiful and I hope we get more on Ethan! Another 5 star!

It was not a light story. It has angst, pain, acceptance and healing.
Honestly, I'm struggling to say more without revealing anything that you need to experience on your own. Just Quinn was strong in her own way after what she experienced. And I love Eli. Actually, I love the whole Jackson family and can't wait to meet them again in next book.

4.5 star enthralling read..

What a bittersweet dark romance .... this friends to lovers story is an emotional and enthralling read...and a perfect follow up to Predator the first in the series...

These characters are flawed and broken .,,Eli is not a good man how can he be with his parentage but he is fiercely loyal and his love for Quinn is unequivocal and absolute.... within these pages there are so many fascinating individuals and relationships I hope to learn more about some of their stories, especially Ethan’s in the next instalment in the series....

Just the right pace with some dark suspense and heartbreaking moments counterbalanced with a beautiful and touching love story which kept me invested throughout.. I received an ARC of this book from the author...

REDEMPTION: by Michelle Horst is Book #2 with the (Men of Honor) series. In this book, the main characters are Quinn Drake and Eli Jackson.
A chance meeting commences a true and endearing, romantic friends to lovers between Eli and Quinn and yet tragic events ignite them in flames. Quinn befriends the mysterious and intimidating Eli one night when he helps her on her way home from work from being assaulted. This begin a strong friendship between them and turned into into an inseparable bond . We see that Eli is deeply in love with Quinn but Quinn doesn’t know this and when Quinn falls in love with someone else, Eli stands aside so she can be happy but when a horrific thing happens to Quinn, its Eli that Quinn needs and its who she runs to. This time, he is never letting go of the one thing he truly loves.
I loved Eli—he is such a strong, alpha male who may come off as scary but he really wasn’t. He loved Quinn and would never hurt her. He wanted to give her the world and protect her from all harm. I saw him as the perfect book boyfriend material. He was soo swoom worthy!! Oh and Quinn… my heart broke for her and how she struggled to get thru this trauma. The person she was before the incidient to the person she was after was huge……yet Eli knew he wanted his Quinn. I loved his strength..to be there for her, no matter what. They made such a perfect couple and the twists and turns in this story made it ever so hot. This was steamy, hot , sizzling read!!
I enjoyed getting to read more about Alex and Nina, and see their kids in this story. Trust me, you will be very surprised and happy to see who makes appearances in this story.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

Two people who became friends in an unconventional way, and stayed friends. And even thought Eli (I think) fell in love with Quinn the minute he met her, he felt that he wasn't good enough for her. So he never made his move or told her how he felt.

From this Quinn didn't think that they were meant to be together, so she moved on. Met someone else and was all set to live her life.

But then tragedy struck and the only person she turns to is her friend, Eli. And this is his chance. Eli is patient and kind and he will do whatever she needs him to do to make sure that she heals.

I loved this book, just as much as the previous one. I loved Eli, strong, silent broody type, but he is also fierce and tough when he needs to be. And Quinn was sweet and she was his light and even though she didn't know it she was so strong.
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

REDEMPTION is Book #2 in Michelle Horst's Men of Honor Series. Book #1 was PREDATOR which was my 1st and favorite book I have read by Michelle Horst. When I found out that the character's from Predator where the parent's of Eli and Ethan Jackson, now with their own stories, then I could not wait to read REDEMPTION. It became a must read!

The story starts with the Prologue with a 5 year old Eli Jackson. His Daddy has taken him for target practice because he wants young Eli to learn at a young age to defend himself and protect his family. When Eli asks why? His Daddy explains, “I'm afraid of not being there when you, Ethan or your Mommy might need me.” From that day forward he learned to keep trying and never stop caring.

Years later and all grown up, Eli walks out of a gas station with a bag in his hand. A very frightened Quinn Drake runs and jumps into his arms. There is a man chasing her, and she knows you don't look for trouble with a Jackson. There's just something about them that screams danger, but right then the danger behind her is much bigger than the danger in front of her. Right there is the start of an unlikely friendship.

Somehow Quinn finds away to get Eli to become her friend, “I think you're a pretty amazing person, Eli. I've lived here all my life and never has anyone helped me the way you have in the last twenty-four hours. I'm going to do the same for you. You need a friend and you're in luck, because I'm looking for one.”

Eli did need her. She became his heart and soul. He didn't want to face a day without her smile. She was his sunshine. Without her there's only darkness. Quinn felt the same way about him, but was convinced he only loved her as a younger sister. Eli doesn't talk much and his wooing technique leaves lots to overcome. He feared that he waited much too long to make his move, because there was a Roy Douglas making his move first.

Lots of story ahead. But what I didn't see coming was the end of the book at 72%. It didn't end in a cliffhanger. There was a sorta HEA. I just wish there had been an Epilogue. I was left with a lot of questions. I'm sure there will be another book about the younger Jackson brother Ethan and Quinn's brokenhearted cousin Finlay. I just wasn't ready for the book to end.

The Men of Honor series could possibly be my favorite of all of Michelle Horst books. Yes, I know I say this all of the time but after reading this series I think I have found a winner. Just a fair warning the book ended around 70% on my kindle. Dont be shocked by the percentage, Horst takes the time to wrap up all loose ends before typing "THE END"

Redemption focuses on the story of a lonely girl,Quinn, who wants nothing more that to be loved in the world. Not just any kind of love, but the knock you socks off kind of love that every girl dreams of. She found it in her best friend Eli. They did not meet in the most conventional way, but a part of Eli belonged to Quinn from day one. However, Quinn was not so sure they were destined to be together so she went looking for love with someone else. After a truly heartbreaking turn of events, Quinn must accept what has happened to her in order to regain control of her life and Eli is there with her every step of the way.

Eli has been in love with Quinn from the moment he laid eyes on her, and watching her agree to marry another man broke him. However, when Quinn called him for help he immediately stepped into action. There was no thought for his welfare, his only job was to protect Quinn at any cost. Part of protecting her, was also helping put the pieces back together after the dust settled. These two are destined to be together, Eli just has to make sure Quinn understands that and not shatter when is left of his best friend in the process.

Although I enjoyed the story of Quinn and Eli I feel like there was something missing. Horst does an amazing job of wrapping up all the loose ends, but the story seems to end rather abruptly. The edition of an epilogue would have been great and possibly wrapped things up neater in my head. All in all a great story that I will for sure recommend in the future. I can not wait for the next book Legacy to be released.

Eli has loved Quinn since the day she barged into his arms for safety reasons. He loved her even more when she declared they were going to be the best of friends. Through years of friendship and watching her fall in love with someone else he never stopped, Eli is a carpenter and leaves a very secluded life. Being a Jackson in their town comes with stories. Stories he wishes would go away. Eli is a force in fact so are all the Jackson men. One night he witnesses an unspeakable crime against Quinin and his life alters entirely. He wants to be the one she runs to to protect her.

Quinn has always loved Eli. Ever since she ran into his arms and he demanded to fix the fence. She always thought Eli loved her like a sister so she never made that logical next step. Always afraid of her own feelings. She becomes engaged to a man mainly because he is safe and normal and doesn't make her feelings go all crazy. Tragedy strikes and she's thrust into the arms of Eli her best friend. Struggling to come to terms with her new life she learns to lean on family and friends.

I loved Elis gruff exterior but I loved the big heart he had underneath. He didn't love freely but if you did receive his love it was yours forever. I like that while Quinn did break and lose her way she never truly lost touch with herself. She wanted to avenge the tragedy but learned in a way it's nice to have someone else step up. Love truly conquers all for Eli and Quinn.

'I live you, Quinn.' ... 'You live me?' I whisper in awe. 'I live you. I love you. I want to spend every second of every day with you. You're my now and forever."

Michelle Horst. What can I say. Again, yes again Michelle has delivered yet another novel that is absolutely nothing short of perfect with all the feels.

Eli Carter.
Quinn Drake.
Best friends.
They are inseparable.
They have a connection that is unbreakable.
The feelings they have for one another run so much deeper than each of them are ever willing to admit.
Eli is afraid to lose Quinn if he tells her the truth.
Quinn truly believes that all Eli wants is just friendship.

But how wrong they both are.

Quinn is getting married.
She is happy, ready to take a the leap.
She is ready to spend the rest of her life with Roy.
And all Eli can do is accept that the girl his heart wants will forever belong to another man.

But it's all about to change.
The monsters are coming.
They will break Quinn.
They will hurt Eli.
They will destroy everything.
They will take and take until there is nothing left.

Who will survive?
Who will lose their life?
Who will be destroyed?

Again an absolute brilliant read that will simply take your breath away.
A read that is gritty, raw, and at times quite confronting that it will crush your heart and soul.
A read with so much depth, love and hope that it will leave you wanting more.
Such a powerful read that I couldn't put down.
I have so much love for Redemption, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A must read for those who believe that love will find it's way no matter how damaged or broken you think you are.

5 stars.

Addictively sweet.
Outstanding obsessive read!

Michelle Horst is at her best again with another gritty, alpha male in her Men of Honor series with Redemption. Tragically and poetically written with dark triggers that might not be for everyone, but I encourage all to read her work. She takes you on a beautiful journey of heartbreak and sweet recovery!

Michelle is known to write down to earth, raw characters. She makes you feel every ounce of grief, loss, passion and love that pours from the character's heart. It takes true talent for an author, such as herself, to describe through words the tingles and goosebumps in which you receive while reading.

Quinn and Eli have it hard, but seem to make it work when why both realize their feelings toward each other are mutual. It’s time for Eli to help Quinn become the woman she once was due to tragic incidents, but how far must he go to bring her spirit back?

Secrets are revealed when family comes to visit and the cavalry comes to the rescue, to help mend the pieces, but is it too late?

Be still my heart with how far Eli goes to try to bring Quinn back. Nothing will stop him. NOTHING! That man is everything I would want in a hero and boy, do you get it! Heartfelt determination, gut wrenching emotions are felt throughout this engaging story! This is an epic addition after Predator , that is a must read for sure!

Redemption by Michelle Horst is the second book in the Men of Honor Series. Every book in the seriesis a standalone. Redemption is a contemporary/suspense novel and deals with sensitive subjects. Redemption is not for the faint of heart.
This is Quinn and Eli´s book.
Eli Jackson is best friends with Quinn. He´s 6 years her senior and loves her deeply. But she wants friendship only.
One night destroys their lifes completely. Both have to endure unspeakable cruelty and violence. But they survive. Quinn´s not only broken, she´s shattered. Eli stands by her side.
Through all their hurt and pain they help each other heal. Justice gets dealt out.
Redemption is a emotional read. Let me tell you, this book gutted me.
This story has it all—tension, angst, suspense and heartbreak. I've smiled, laughed, cried and was angry at some point. It is not often I feel so connected to the characters, but Michelle Horst has accomplished just that. I love the story, the characters and the words.
I read the book in one sitting, I had to know what happens with the characters.
I give 5 stars. Thank you, Michelle Horst.

Redemption is the 2nd book in the Men of Honor series. The main reason I love Michelle's books is she tells a story, and writes them beautifully. I loved Redemption so much, it wasn't light and fluffy, it was full of emotion, heartbreak and dark in some places but this is why I love her books.

Eli is the odd mysterious boy from town, and Quinn is a happy go lucky girl. These two strike up a beautiful friendship. But when Quinn is faced with a heartbreaking, gut wrenching situation she finds solace in her best friend. As Quinn plots her revenge, their friendship turns to more.

I can never read enough of Michelle's books I'm always dying for the next to come out. I loved Quinn and Eli's story, it was an emotional raw and beautiful story, I felt their pain, happiness along with them. Poor Quinn went through a horrific time and I loved how Eli was so kind, patient and caring towards her I just wanted to adopt them for myself!!!! I found it very hard to put down but then I'm always like that with Michelle's books.

I cannot recommend Michelle's books enough. The first book in this series is Predator and it along with this is a definite must read. Michelle I salute you!!!!!

I do believe that this is fast becoming one of my favorite series. I loved book one, and with book two it's even more so. I love the epilogue where it shows Eli with his dad. We get to see Eli's mom and dad, and see their interactions and wisdom and love for their family and those they consider family. Redemption is about Eli and Quinn. He helps her out one night, which leads to them becoming best friends. Not wanting to ruin their friendship and neither one saying anything about their attraction for each other. They remain friends, until one fateful night that changes everything. Eli's response was exactly what it should have been, and he is so caring and fierce and did everything right. Quinn, Eli's sunshine, lost herself for awhile. But with his love and support from his mom and dad, she burns so bright once again. This was just such a great read for me, I loved it. It does feel quick, but it was filled with so much. Don't pass this up, you will enjoy it!
